    Welcome to this video all about a breech baby :) Though breech babies are rare at the end of pregnancy, it is good to know what the main breech baby signs are so you know what to look out for in the 3rd trimester. If your baby is in a breech position and you want to have a vaginal birth you can potentially run into some challenges with your care team and they may suggest a C-section. A breech position baby can be born vaginally but the labour may be longer, less straightforward and some medical teams do not feel comfortable assisting with vaginal births if a baby is breech. So in this video, I will help you answer the question "Is my baby breech?". This will help you identify a frank breech, footling breech and complete breech baby. If you do, in fact, end up noticing the signs of a breech baby in your womb, don't worry! Please check out my other videos to help you relax and turn a breech baby head down:

    I was a breech. 60yrs ago, Dr's didn't want to do c-section unless someone was gonna die. I came out feet first, moon shining. The only bad thing about that was the trauma she went thru made her not want to be a mom anymore. Her loss. I have grandkids now.

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  11 месяцев назад +3

      I'm sorry to hear that your mum didn't want to be your mum after her birth experience. It wasn't your fault. Babies can certainly be born feet or bottom first but it can be a harder process. Nowadays they routinely schedule C-sections for breech babies and many women feel pressured into agreeing to them. I'm happy to hear that you had kids of your own and grandkids. How many children and grandchildren do you have and how old are they all? X

    I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I feel the baby movements in the right and left side of my stomach mostly. And atleast one time a day I feel beats which comes with same interval (like 5 second once) at my lower belly. I don't know whether it is hiccups or not. Could you guess what is the position of my baby position?

    • @KaityWebster
      @KaityWebster 6 месяцев назад

      Mine too tons of movement on the left side and lots of hiccups. My midwife can’t find her head in my pelvis anymore after ultrasound confirmed she was head down at 29 weeks. I am going to get another ultrasound if we can’t find out where she’s at.

      If you have your baby turned in the hospital by a doctor you just have to make sure that you don't spend many hours sitting down with your hips below the level of your knees and that you go for a daily walk. This will help your baby to stay head down if he/she turns head down. 👍❤️

    If baby is head down at 32 weeks are they at all likely to turn breech still?

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  5 месяцев назад +2

      Hi, thanks for your question. It is unlikely that your baby will turn head up from head down but it all depends on what you're doing in the final weeks of your pregnancy. If you sit down alot and don't walk much or if you sit with your hips beneath the level of your knees, your baby could switch into a non-optimal position like breech or head down (but back to back). It's important to sit with your hips above the level of your knees as much as possible and to factor in a daily walk to help secure your baby's head down position. Hope this helps 🤗💞

    Good Day. The Gynecologist told me that there are chances of having a down syndrome baby and they're on breech position. Is there a likelihood that they may still turn headdown? I am currently 32 weeks.

      Hi, thanks for your question. Yes it is still possible for your baby to turn head down but it is important to help your baby in the following ways: walk every day, don't sit down for too long and when you are sitting down, make sure your hips are higher than your knees. Straddling a chair can help with this or sitting on top of a pile of cushions when you are sitting on a soft sofa. 💕

    I’m only 28 weeks pregnant but after my last scan the doctor felt that she should mention that the babies head was still up. I was under the impression that it’s still ok for it to be up, and only concerning after 32 weeks. Should I be worried about it still being head up at 28 weeks? I’m going to start some exercises and your meditations to try help it turn down. But I also don’t want to get anxious too early if it’s really not that serious right now 😅

      Hi darling, thanks so much for your message and question. No, you don't need to worry if your baby is head up at 28 weeks. My baby still was at 32 weeks. The best thing you can do is go for a walk every day, listen to the optimal baby positioning meditation on my channel: ruclips.net/video/f6Fr4ZIJpd8/видео.html
      and make sure that you don't spend hours and hours sitting down without walking around. Also, remember 'hips above knees' when sitting. Your hips should ideally be at this angle (above your knees) to help turn your baby head down (straddling a chair can help):

      Good luck 🤞🍀❤️💕

    hello, I'm 37 weeks and 4 days and my baby is breech. Does the baby change position after 37 weeks turn heads down?

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  Год назад

      It is possible for your baby to turn but it is less likely. The best thing you can do is go for walk every day and stroke your belly, asking your baby to turn head down. Also sleeping in this position can help! Check out this video:

      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  Год назад

      There is no need to worry at 24 weeks of pregnancy as babies are still moving around alot. Think about how you're sitting. You need to make sure your hips are above your knees when sitting down. That will help your baby get head down ❤️

    When should one expect the baby to drop?

    • @HypnobirthingWithAnja
      @HypnobirthingWithAnja  2 года назад

      While it's different for every mother-to-be, babies will usually drop around two to four weeks before birth in a first pregnancy. In subsequent pregnancies, your baby usually doesn't drop until you're in labour.💖
