    A woman body will get a man's attention for a brief moment, but a woman that can bring him peace will keep his attention for a lifetime.

    It’s so sad that capitalism takes such advantage of black women. If it’s not the weaves or the wigs, it’s the BBL surgery. We as black women are paying thousands of dollars for a certain aesthetic. We are not investing that money. We are not saving that money. We are not doing what we need to do to get ahead financially. We are not leaving a legacy for our children financially. We really need to heal and gain a sense of self-worth because it is costing us so much with our finances and even our lives.

    I appreciate you approaching this from a psychological perspective. Our bodies have always been the source of either great pleasure or mock or disdain.
    Black women seek validation not only through their body, but in their appearance and their over hypersexualized behaviors.
    The freedom that I want Black women to know is that they are loved by our Creator, and that our validation does not come from the world and its standards, but from our Creator and our Ancestors.
    Many of these beauty standards are not even attainable. These beauty standards are effigies, caricatures of what people "think" Black femininity represents. Each Black woman has her own unique beauty, style, and persona.

    Betty Boop is the beauty standard for today, and she's a cartoon character. When women want to look like cartoon characters, then we have a huge problem. Black people need to start loving themselves; their kinky hair, dark complexion, and wide noses. God made us in his image after his own likeness. We are his children. God made all things and said, "It was good." We are good. When I look in the mirror, I see a handsome man that no one can compete with. No one can be a better you than you. The media sells shame and fear to the masses. Don't buy into it. Love yourself, and find someone who will love you back. You only need one woman or one man to make you feel special. Pour into each other, and it won't matter. Find your emotional equal.
    Have a sun shiny day 🌞

We are not investing that money. We are not saving that money." Imagine Black women investing in their kid's future in terms of education and family dynamics instead of investing in artificial things that will not lead to a better society. I have nothing against a stripper or a model enhancing her figure, she needs it for work and creating wealth. Why would the average women get into it unless you want to be a stripper?

    A lot of psychology comes from evolution.
    If women notice all the women in their tribe getting the most provisions, resource success, perceived protection & male reproductive partner option success they wanted to emulate the successful women.
    A modern woman not even close to self actualization and lacks emotional security is more prone to a suggestible/impressionable subconscious psyche.
    In this case: Seeing not enough women of your tribe like you getting perceived success will influence you to want to be the standard so your odds of your perceived/actual needs being met will increase

    • @rdkirk3834
      @rdkirk3834 7 месяцев назад

      But what standard is this they're chasing? If they were getting their skin bleached (as they do in Nigeria), we'd say, "Aha, they're chasing the white standard."
      But that's not what they're doing. They're chasing a standard set by trans-women.

    Wow thanks for doing this story 😊This has become so true and out of control over such a short period of time, and im old enough at 57 to rembr women being jealous of eachother who recieved lots of attention from men if they were possesed a NATURAL thick curvy shape, so once this procedure was available ?the flood gates opened and the less curvy women jumped right on it , i once heard a young lady years ago before this bbl stuff talk about being shaped a certain way gave a woman street credit and status because of attention , but now? 90% of sistas look like this? And have the worst attitudes once they get it done , but yes btwn the weaves,lashes, and bbls? They are now a monolith and they do not care, imagine men in this same percentage of numbers instead of going to the gym to get bigger biceps, chest, legs, or abs decide in record numbers to get fake parts because other men are doing it? 🤔 so im glad brothas are satisfied with what the most high gave us, we come in all body types, shapes ,and muscularity tones and ask any man would they prefer a natural woman or altered 100% if brothas will say natural so we know the women do this FOR THEMSELVES and OTHER WOMEN not men because we hate it 🙏🏾

      Men will lust after prostitutes/escorts. Women MUST learn to understand and distinguish between a man's sexual gaze and his desirability gaze. But for the most part, a man will put you in one box or the other. And desirability gets you wifed. Plus if you're half-way decent, you can't compete on sex b/c even if you go low, your competition (strippers, side chicks, hos) will always go lower with the sexualization. So they'll always win that lane. Be desirable and find a man that don't lead with a sexual gaze. They're out here.
