I have had to work so hard with my daughters, Birth-18yrs old, helping them understand the importance of remaining Natural women. I'm no longer a Christian, I've managed to overcome the fear and peer pressure and left the church; it's hard to live the church because if the fears, pressure and benefits for some. Time and money spent in church and its activities are not producing a sellable product, it's one of those things that keep black people poor. Any money given to anyone that is not producing a sellable product or services in order to yield a profit for the payer will make them poor and the more we are doing it the poorer we obviously get; it's only logical.

Grew up, gained weight, walk for exercise, been asked on more than one occasion if I have had surgery. Hate is hateful y'all. Black hate is the worst. Okay, so I wouldn’t wear any of this to church, obviously. But my question to women who put out this rhetoric in the church is are you trying to help your sistren or condemn them? God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
This woman has a message in her words and it is very disheartening to hear another sister condemn her for her personal life and pictures. God’s house is one thing, but I don’t see anything in her videos that was inappropriate.
Additionally- this type of shaming fosters sexual repression of young Christian women which, out of ignorance will lead them to debauchery. You cannot shame sexuality out of women. If we are to carry the next generation of His people, our husbands have to be attracted to us and we must please them.
And it separates them from other women in a way that is not exalting them. In Muslim teachings- garb is optional and the women who choose to garb are held in high regard for their decisions. Christian women are shamed into modesty. And with hijabs being 10x more fashionable than traditional modest attire, you leave an entire denomination of women feeling undesirable. I agree we should have respect for the church, but let’s not shame our sisters into insecurity and promiscuity because they just want confirmation that they’re pretty too.
