I have a connect to this family and heard some things back in 2020 from someone who was regularly at the house. Cory is traditional Christian and intentionally chose not to interact with the “Hollywood” life. Tia started collaborating with the LA influencers, they started filming her at the home etc. etc. And this is when things went left. I’ve lived out in LA for almost 10 years and the nuclear family is NOT supported out here…at all. This is probably why Tamara chose Napa Valley with her husband & kids✌🏽 From what I heard, Tia started hanging around certain celebs and influencers that started commenting on Cory’s demeanor and unwillingness to interact or adapt to the “LA Vibe”. Tia started feeling like she wanted to explore her spirituality and be ‘free’ with her new LA friends. Cory wasn’t having it. He felt like she was putting a target on their family. Tia felt like this was control. Basically the marriage seems to have ended because of different values. Same thing with her & Tamara. Tamara has different values and has had issue with how Tia has treated her for years😮‍💨 And this is coming from a neutral source.

What trumps being married with children? Not being married, and child free, with a successful career, good friends, and living your life for yourself on your own terms. I have been divorced for over 15 years, I have never been happier, and divorcing my husband was the best decision I made for my life. Women had to get married and have children back in the day, they had to attach themselves to a man to survive, and they out up with a lot of ebuse, and infidelity. Now we are free to work, get educated, own homes, our own bank accounts, and care for ourselves, and marriage and children is not really a priority or a desire for many of us. Marriage is not a flex, or a highly sought out position, and it doesn't mean a thing to say you are a wife, especially if you are married to a cheating, disrespectful, ebusive man. It definitely doesn't mean a thing if you are just going to end up a divorced, single mother. Women are not children, they don't need to be controlled by anyone, especially a man. If getting married means you lose your autonomy, it isn't worth it. There are plenty of couples who have been together 30 years plus in committedrelationships, some with no children, and have never married. There is more to life for women than to be married to some man, and risking your life to have his babies, so much more. Not all women desire the same life, stop shaming and trying to punish them for making the best decision for their lives to be happy and fulfilled.

I feel like it was a controlling and ebusive relationship, and she is not putting it on blast because of their kids. You are walking a fine line by saying Tia finally says why she divorced. All she really said was that she had freedom to choose. Now as to being covered vs controlled.
