Have you ever used plastic worms for trout?! 🤔🐟
I'm getting ready for trout season, I need a reel, but I know to use worms!
Trout magnets. They are awesome!
I've used 3 inch mad river worms rigged the same way for sea run cutthroat in the river, caught my pb that way
No...but this looks very fishy! I'm freaking stoked to try this near my place in central Oregon.
Addicted Fishing since our local rivers closed I been floating fishing my favorite creek I’ve caught over 40 in 3 days... all catch release of corse 🤪
I really appreciate the details and little personal tips you add into it like when the float sat off to the side when the lead was too long making it drag so it tilted more. Solid info and ideas thank you gentlemen 🤙
Congrats Marlin! Finally caught something while doing a tutorial. Proven rig! 😂🎣
#suckerfishlife
This time you weren't the sucker!👍😂 #suckerfishlife
😂😂😂bro I'm dead!!!
Prover rig! Thanks bud
Yeah I see you guys are by far the most precise in your explanations I fish the great lakes and tributaries and everything else in Michigan. a lot of what you guys do is similar to what I do here
I swear addicted is like the only thing i watch these days
U could say your addicted
This video just got me fired up for creek fishing! I love my Addicted fixed float!
This is awsome man, thanks for doing this for us guys who fish small stream trout
Your excitement about just fishing a small creek good stuff. My floats came yesterday with jigs. Can’t wait to get out
Wow many thanks for the beautiful scenery and unbelievable fishing moment... looking forward to the next video..
I caught one today with a pink worm first time I used one at Pine Flat in Fresno CA tnks for all the info
I just got my mustad addicted fishing floats in the mail. I can't wait to fish with your setup. Thanks
looking at how BUOYANT the Addicted floats are.... time to TEST em here in the creeks for centerpin float fishing.
thank you for another great video and thank you for driving it home about carrying out all fishing lines.
You ever dropshot rig them? I've been meaning to try it. Reminds me of the days when I would outfish the dry-fly purists with a crappie jig. It's really cool if you like getting dirty looks. LOL
Got my ADDICTED floats jigs worms n hooks in today from Vancouver wash to l.a. California just finished my setups just now!! Off Friday let’s go!!!🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thanks amigo! great video.
Perfect timing to post this video , steelehead run in the creek 5 minutes away from my house , thanks boys !!!
I love small stream cutthroat fishing!
He woulda got some more, but he spooked them in order to share his methodology...
Bro the pink worms work!!!!! Great video and thanks for all the information.. it’s helping out my little Chanel out a bunch. Cheers
Love your video!!
Nice video thanks for sharing! Just watching this video makes me want to go to the river.
7:15 "addict's, it's working"
Judging by your reaction, yeah no kidding.
I see he's using an Okuma celilo rod, definitely my favourite ultralight rod to use!
I think your best advice was when you said stay stealthy. My bass fishing friends think I’m crazy when we go Sierra trout fishing and I tell them to try and blend in and stay off the bank. If they can see you, you ain’t hookin up.
Those sucker fish actually taste pretty good. They are just a little boney.
New to the channel loving it so far. This is my first year fishing and you guys have been helpful as knowledge comes, cant wait to put it in practice. I do have 2 questions i only have monofilament line and the classic red and white bobbler do i need a weight on it? And should i put a swivel on it to minimize tangle on my line?
Very awesome video, tons of information, thanks. Would be nice though if a trout video contained trout 😊
Tight lines from Scotland love your channel since I found it recently
7:16 my Brother every time he gets a snagged 😂
I usually just get a real worm from under all the maple leafs and fish that but I don’t know much! Good luck fishing!!!
Love the videos guys, waiting for the thaw up her in Canada, then back on the water 🇨🇦
GREAT VIDEOS. U GUYS ARE THE BEST. P.Mac🐟🐟🐟
Great video you set it up an go fishing show us how it's done great job
Awesome
Nice 👍. Thank you
Great video!
You are great, friends, congratulations.
Just bought two of your addicted fixed floats. They should be delivered Saturday just in time for me to hit the American River near my home.
Nice work brother
Pa trout opens in April. I’ll be using these ideas.
Yea if it doesn't get cancelled!
Pwrcritter I know. Sucks! I promise to stand 6 foot from other fishermen
I will have to get some of those little worms for my camping bag!
Excellent video, thank you guys for sharing all this. I will absolutely be buying those floats. Probably gonna spend my next rent payment on Addicted gear. #worthit.
You pack it in, you pack it out. Great job with keeping the river bank clean!
I appreciate the tips my friend! I am trying to figure out how to catch these Michigan Brown Trout and I have been wanting to try these little guys. In your experience, do the pink worms work well for Browns as well? Or would you opt for something darker in color??
iFish the pink worms in Virginia where I'm from in many different size trout but honestly I have found for the taking a wife nightcrawler and pension at 3/4 in half leaving the head off and just hooking it through two or three times leaving the hook exposed and the worm dangling works best for meon small and large are brown trout I just fish it with a split-shot off the bottom and bump it to keep it drifting you just have to figure out what size white to use to keep it drifting slowly but steadily depending on the current but freshboxfish especially browns will hear it spinners and lures rather well the first day or two there in the waterbut I fished about everything you can imagine for trout and nightcrawlers armentors is my go-to for browns that have been in the water a while
If we had suckers here id target them for sure. That thing was frigging adorable hahahah
I watch yall in algebra class
🤘
Un saludo desde Colombia 🇨🇴 ese montaje puede servir para la pesca de la carpa en lagos ? Muchas gracias 🎣🙏👍
This technique works really well on the midwestern smallmouth with a live nightcrawler
Ive been smashing trout on orange and yellow worms lately, woolie buggers also tipped wirh a waxie
Thumbs up!!!
Clark
You addicted guys need to use a centerpin for the first time. Its makes the hookup faster and a lot more fun fighting them big steelhead
Agreed! I'll use a centerpin on a light rod anywhere from 10'6" to 13'6" with 10lb main and 4lb leader. On the East coast we just wacky rig a Berkeley pink or red worm.
right now in WI, were using glow chartreuse 1/16 jig, 4 inch pink worm beating spawn sacs
Thanks for the pack in pack out your line tags shout out.
7:15 when marlin turned too Shawn when he lost that cutthroat it looked like he was pissed at Shawn 😂
I have done a lot of float fishing and my experience is that you want to keep your line as tight as possible even when you’re fishing rapid water. Let out line just fast enough to keep up with your float as it goes down stream. If you release too much the fish will have spit out the worm, or whatever bait you’re using, before you can reel in enough line to set the hook.🐠
Nice set up bro hook me up with one of those bombers if you can.TROUT ASSASSIN FROM CALI..
Float looks good,i just dont have it yet.Its been 9 days since i placed an order.
Can you use the zoom trick worms like the ones used for bass fishing
I finally got my addicted floats the other day, as soon as it stops raining I'm hitting my local river. Went up to a spot where the dudes were twitchy but I'm old school float or spinner guy
Hilarious; I just tied a bunch of San Juan Worms in advance of flyfishing season. I laughed when I got the tip on pink worms but they crush it early in the season.
Nice🌈 Video's🔁
Great Products💯
And Showmanship
Is Outstanding✌😎👍
Haha i caught a sucker on a pink worm in that system this winter😂
Same. I caught a sucker, rainbow, small mouth and redbreast on the same river (floating down on a canoe) using this rig. When the sucker got the worm I knew I was too deep. The smallie attacked it. The rainbow came out water for it. The most fun I’ve had, and everything was different. I’ve used the same set up every time since
I like the video very good tips to know I have some of the pink worms just haven't tried them yetI would have just like the scene a few more catches in your video to make it a little more exciting than to prove the pink worms worked good
Love the bober.
Wear can u get them?
I use a clear steelhead bobber with a bit of red on top for maximum stealth in clear water you can also fish dew worms or bead head flies under it the clear bobber makes a huge difference
Where in the NW can you fish for trout before end of may?
I miss fishing that creek
When do cutthroats usually run in there?
I cant get more than 10 seconds in the water without hookin up with those suckers out there. Thousands man
Hey great content! Where can we buy these bobbers?
What type of braided line do you use for a setup like that?
I learned how not to catch a trout! Lol jk. I've learned a lot from you videos adapted my own fixed float set up that is working so good it should be illegal! Caught like 100 big trout in the last months including a 4 lbs rainbow! ( i live 5mins away from a trophy section of river!)and I owe a lot of that to you guy's for helping me become the total menace i am out here this year! Ty again good will and God bless !
Could you use a swivel to connect your mainline to the fluorocarbon?
Yep.
Can the mustad float be used on a centerpin rig?
Where can I buy this float. Looks like it would work well in Scotland.
i gather a water bobber could work for this as well?
You missed that fish cuz you had way too much belly in your line. You shouldn’t have to reel like crazy when the trout hits. Nice video. I like that bobber. Gonna get me some! Fisherman's Marine?
What size braid are you using with that rig?
Where can I find the float system. Thank in advance. :)
I've used this method countless times, but I either use a #8 circle and pull the worm over the eye with a splitshot or use a trout magnet jig head. Super deadly with bubblegum and natural color, depending on conditions. Also deadly for crappers.
So circle hooks do work I've wondered if they would drifting.
I fish that creek all the time, still haven't got a steelhead but have got a lot of suckers. Can't complain about the fight they put up. Does anyone know if we can still fish during the lockdown (in WA)?
Should be okay, from what I gather, as long it's not in a state park since the parks are closed. Otherwise, Inslee said to get outside if you need to for your physical and mental health.
@@lewissmith2136 #norivernames
A 6 foot Okuma Celilo light would be a huge difference compared to the Ultra light?
I like this channel, thanks guys. May I make a question: There is any sign on trouts that means the fish is unhealthy, and shouldn't be eate? I don't know if you guys have a video about this.
Any chance getting those floats on Amazon!?
Everything Trout www.addicted.fishing
Works great in smokes
what brand of float are you using?
You gotta work that hole real good.

Looked for the floats on your page. Must be out, didn’t see them.
Never mind haha. Wrong site, but just ordered some floats. Can’t wait to try them out.
