These where very good tips thank you for the clear and fun directions! I’ve tried these prior to watching and these things are great, I didn’t know that the cheese color was a better presentation in clear water. Thanks again🤟🏼
@@DICKFARTZZ No Problem! Good luck!

You did a GREAT job of explaining and showing us how to rig and how to fish these worms. You the Man.
Thanks!
Total novice here…thank you. I’m hoping I can get my kids into fishing. Videos like this make that possible.
Good luck I hope they catch them!
Your color choices are spot on!
You did a wonderful job going through the s
Erupts and thought process. Enjoyed your video.
Loved the vid. Explained it so well, and loved the 'live' demos in both the creek and lake.
I'm definitely going to add these to my arsenal of baits. I use the Berkeley gulp minnow a lot and catch a ton of trout but it will be nice to have something else to switch to when they've seen the gulp minnow too much.
Nice! Good luck!
That was very helpful. I’ll try that out for sure this fall. Thanks brother.
Good luck!
This is my go to bait when I've been skunked. Lol panfish love this setup here in East Texas. Not a lot of opportunities for trout fishing here. December to March on specific lakes and ponds.
Nice! They work!
This is a great video dude. I’m going to use this same set up for sure.
Thanks man! Good luck!
this is a great video. thank you. This is how you give a nice demonstration
Thanks!
The most productive way I have used in lakes or ponds is a three way rig. Using the smallest three way swivel, 4 lbs test and a 3" pink or bubble gum worm. Gamakatsu TW hook size 12, 14 or 16. Use about18" leader for the hook and a 12" leader for a 3/8 oz drop shot weight. These the worn to about 1/3rd back. The worm will float. Went fishing a couple of days ago and caught 17 trout in 2 hours, all released.
Awesome!
That P line is the best line that I ever used. Those power worms tear easily. They work great but don't last long. Great video. 👍 Thanks 😊
Thanks! Good luck!
Excellent.
Thank you.
Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to share the knowledge brother. Much appreciated. Now that I found your channel, I'll definately be watching.
Thanks I appreciate it!
Thanks for you for the very good lesson 👍on using the power bait I love fishing 🎣 and I buy some of them and use but never lucky to catch anything unless if I use the natural worms 🪱.
@@desmondcharles7219 Good luck!
Plain & simple thanks
Thank you!
I haven't watched yet but I live by these things. I fish them weightless (wacky rigged) with a small trout hook
They work awesome!
I wear little creek bass out in the summertime with this wacky rig set up. Keeps my kid on fish when the fishing is slow. Never caught a monster but we smash 8"-12" bass in the mornings.
Amazing video dude. Tons of effort here and explained very well.
Thanks!
Great advice. Im a huge trout magnet fan. I've caught many trout and bluegill on them. Even a few nice bass. They never seem to gut hook ever. I need to fish the power worm more. Im just afraid trout will bite at the tail more and not get to the hook. You don't seem to have a problem though. I'malso gonna try the 10 lb braid with a fluorocarbon leader. Great advice. I don't like 500 size reels anymore though. I had a Pfluger they just did have what it took to get a large rainbow in. I won't touch it anymore 😅. I stick with the 1000 or a bit larger now.
Thank you very much for the tips
No Problem!
Great advices and style at talking! Thanks mate!
Thank you!
Great video on this technique 👍🏼
This video was very helpful
Glad it could help!
🎣 I enjoy using these worms, for sure i do here. I think they're better than the trout magnets.
The only thing is I think they should put the worms in a bigger pack. After a while when i catch too many fish with them, the trout really do wind up ripping the the rubber worms to much.
Great review and information,
I really enjoyed watching here
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!

Very welcome
Good video! It wasn't until this video that I learned Cheese was a natural worm color!? LOL. In lakes or ponds, I find sometimes I need to get deeper than the bobber will allow. I ended up repurposing my Powerbait "Carolina rig" setup...put the powerworm on a hook (instead of jig head) and float it off the bottom. Could also do a slip bobber to get more depth...but, that's a bit more complicated of a rig for beginners.
Nice!
Thanks for sharing this great video. I will try this tips and techniques on my next fishing trip.
Good luck!
Love your videos
You did a great job doing this video.👍
Thanks!
Very instuctive. Excellent teacher for especially for the novice trout fisherman.
Thanks!
That’s the exact rig I use. Great video!
I usually trim the worm though
Thank you! Good luck!
very thorough ;) thankyou
No problem good luck!
Sweet video, thank you!
Thanks! No problem!
I like putting the worm on wacky style too.
Arizona has urban lakes with stocked trout !!!
Thank you. Great info and explanation
Thank you!
Solid video young man. Well done.
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing
Thanks!
Lol, sir you wont have any problem getting to 1k in viewers. Just keep doing what your doing. I live in Harrisburg and fish the susky, just in case you get my way. Hit me up. I run a 2021 Rockproof with all the bells... ltr!
Sounds good I appreciate it!
Been fishing these on ultralight jigs for years, used to use 4lb floro but have switched over to 10lb hi vis braid with a 6lb floro leader. Hard to watch straight floro for a bite when you let it fall or drift.
For sure!
@baiseduezcke2295 Prefer Seaguar floro in general. Yellow label for straight fluorocarbon on spinning gear, and blue label for leader.
Great video! I had some guys show me this setup last year and they were hammering trout in a pond in PA! I couldn’t remember exactly what the setup was so this video was very helpful!
One question, do you have a preference on braided line color and brand? (Wish you had some Amazon affiliated product links I could use!)
I use sufix 832 any color would work!
@@nathanquincefishing7122 thank you!!
Gunna try it tomorrow at the local pond I have a slip bobber and just a split shot going to a hook I’m hoping it works
Good luck!
Update complete disaster line keeps getting tangle with the slip bobber horrible
Hey guys, I’m heading into the mountains on a backpacking trip 10-13k feet some pristine alpine lakes targeting trout.. relatively shallow fishing off the shore of course and I’m new to trout fishing. Other than trout magnet what would you recommend for a beginner? Power bait isn’t allowed in these areas.
An in-line spinner
Thanks
No problem! Good luck!
Great video!
Thank you!
I prefer the Berkley Mousetails. Chartreuse/Orange Tail is killer.
Great tips. Question: Will this rig work on bluegill and small bass?
Most likely!
How come the jig head link you put has a picture that doesn't seem to match your jig heads in the video? I like that you don't have that thick keeper on yours. All the sites I've seen show a thick keeper.
I absolutely love drop shotting this and even wacky rigged on a kastmaster
Do you need do use a jighead and the fancy line? I bought a pole with a pre spooled line, and I have regular baithooks....
Fancy line no but the jighead helps!
Slap a split shot on about a foot up from your hook. You will catch something
I think cuz these worms float, the jig helps keep them down low or on bottom. You could probably get away with some split shot about 8-12" above the hook. That's how I rig the MouseTails, since those already have an "egg" on them, I don't do jig head for those.
Bombers work nicely as well, but should I really get these floats?
LOVE Flouroclear for lower pound single line uses.
It’s good stuff!
We have no creeks in Arizona????
ty
Welcome!
where do you get those jig heads 1/32 with a size 8 hook?
Fish USA
Nathan, you fish for trout and crappie often?
Not very often no!
I also tried this on a lake recently and had no luck… how do you know if it’s hitting the bottom? Maybe I had it at the wrong depth setup
If your bobber goes under everytime you jig it it’s too deep!
Is the Power worm considered a bait or an artificial? My local area requires artificial only for now.
What ratio on your spinning reel? Thanks
I think it’s a 5
Do these only work for stockies?
Or will they also work for wild brown in a river?
have you tested it? going to colorado soon and only fishing wild cutties, brookies, rainbows, and browns.
have you ever used them trolling?
I have not
Can this be applied to rivers? Thanks
Yep!
What brand of braid do you use?
Sufix 832!
Do you think those trout worms would be effective on a split-rig?
Definitely!
Can you just use this set up but only use a standard bobber with a jig head ?
I would imagine so!
Do you want the bobber on the braided line or the leader fluorocarbon?
Preferably braid!
@@nathanquincefishing7122 thank you sir! Great video
Do you add a weight also?
Just the jighead
Pink ones are at my store
Nice!
@@nathanquincefishing7122 Haven’t tried em out yet, the worker said they are the best kind for my water. But yeah they look awesome!
@@nathanquincefishing7122 I just got em and can’t wait to try em
These worms on a teout magnet head and trout magnet float are a panfishs worst nightmare. Literally all youll ever need to cover 95% of fishing scenarios
Definitely!
I’ve had problems with the trout just hitting the worm and not getting the hook. Fishing these worms can be great if there hitting hard. When there hitting light good luck
Sometimes that happens you are right
What state are you fishing in?
Pennsylvania
este tipo de gusanos, tiene Aroma?
How about using a bobber with a bobber stop that's what I use to use with a bobber and looks just about like what you got there
That would work!
How do you know if your lure is hitting the bottom or not?
Your line will lay slack on the water
@@nathanquincefishing7122 thank you
Not sure if I got some old worms but these things had zero action. Retuned them. Not worth almost $9 Canadian
They don’t have much action it’s more the scent
Run them with a small tungsten jighead. When below a float they have a bunch of good leech like action
What rod is this
Custom one I made
What's the difference between a Creek and a lake ?
No bobber!
I stopped buying them years ago. I make my own and they work better, hold up better not tearing and just as soft. 😊
Nice!
Please do your standup comedy elsewhere
@@fishinfool63 jealous? 🤣
what inch are they
3 inch
@@nathanquincefishing7122 i just got some 2 inch pink ones
Samething if there isn’t a current?
You put the hook in the worm, adjust weight accoring to flow/depth, and vary your retrieve. Not rocket science
U lost me at pod of fish. They aren't whales...
Excellent video!
Thanks!
Is the mr crappie jighead hook too big? It’s size #2.
It should still work!
