Ah dear Alex, as always, a beautiful video…..so great to watch it coming together, obrigado from south africa. You stay safe too
Hi Alex, from France...😍I love your skills and patience,as well as your explanations...
Thank you! Means a lot!
Top Alex!!! Looking good. Keep it up 🤩
Gracias!
Another great update Alex. Lots of fiddly stuff, but it all pays off and makes the model so interesting to look at. One tip. If you have a part which hangs, attach the cord to that part first, as you would a pulley block, then pull up on the fixed part on the model. Your boats went on with some frustration, no doubt, by doing the opposite. Its hard to attach an object floating in mid air. Easier to tie on the cords off the model, then just winch the floaty part up on a fixed davit or block.
Its inexperience Harry! After editing the vídeo thought): -" why not do the oposite?"😂🙂👍
Great up date Alex.
Alex in his Zen moment. Man I thought I had patience but this is inspirational stuff. Good work.
How are you my friend! Wood is diferent! I love styrene but seing This clássico ship grow is very much fun! Stay safe!
Excellent as always Alex! Nice rope work on the anchor hawser and blocks...
How is your "personnal" Terror? 😂😂😂
@@AlexModeling going well... slowly, but well. I got a second hand lathe to turn yardarms and davits. Working on smaller assemblies but looking forward go starting planking next week!
Hello Alex, I really enjoyed your video again, and I was able to learn one or the other technique. With my Albatros I am now doing the first hull planking. I'm looking forward to the sequel. Can you get such a nice coffee cup from you :-)
See you next time .... Greetings
Hello! These coffe Mugs are for sale here on tge channel! Merchandising. I bought one for me. Merchandising dont give me earnings but even so its cool to have it here. Best of luck with your ALBATROS
Very much enjoying your build series. Big thumbs up on the build!
Top stuff mate as always. Can't wait to see the finished product.
you are really coming along with the ship very nicely . as far as the super glue goes , i believe most ship builders use it when it comes to all the tieing and rigging, some even use it to seal the wood from moisture
Looking good!
Doesn’t the lifeboat need seats? I mean, isn’t it described in the instructions? Anyways, good work, hope you’ll do more wooden ships in the future!
You must be proud of how this one is coming along mate. Nice work
Could be better Mark... But its my first wood ship
Great work Alex 👍👍👍
Muito bom, Excelente trabalho
Excellent vid and work. Thank you for sharing your detailed effort through the steps. It definitely makes this kind of kit/build not as daunting to consider trying out.
Hi Alex,
very nice build so far. The wheels of the cannons look much better now👍
Looks great 👍
2nd
Looking great!
Obrigado! Forte abraço!
Looks great. Trying to stay safe. I caught covid from a suspect I arrested.
Stay safe! I wish you get better!
@@AlexModeling iv been slowly getting better. I'd rather be going to work than sitting at home feeling like crap. Hopefully by the end of the week or next monday I can retest and get a negative, so i can return to duty.
1st
get yourself a pair of sewing scissors for the rigging
Thank you. I will
@@AlexModeling I also have used a bit of wax on the threads to help them go through the holes of the various blocks
As usual great work may I ask you if the colours specially the wood colours that are 100 ml bottle each are enough for an entire model ? I've ordered the specific kit for my boat from occre
I do believe you Will have to spare👍🙂
How do you get the adhesive on the toothpick to apply to the rope?
The boats must have been the simplest part of this build lol. Wooden ships are just wayyy out of my league
Hi Alex, always a pleasure to watch you indulge your hobby.
