A tip for dealing with the lines (ropes)- put a little super glue on the end right after you cut it so it won't fray. It will make your life a little easier when it comes time to rig the ship

Very useful tip the driller to have a conic shape, i love the fact you are putting the grade of sandpaper. I agree I've tried the ocre acrylic paint to do a piece of another model black and they works really well also with airbrush. You think you will do another wood ship after this one ? I really enjoy your collaboration with ochre
Hello! 🙂 I ordered the Revell 1:400 Titanic and all detail extras... I built it 5 years ago and wanted to do a "close circle" this tine with all vells and whistles.. but i really want to do another wood ship yes!

Lovely job, great music….. when threading your blocks you might want to consider using a needle threader…. makes life much easier and you don’t need to drill out the holes to make them bigger….. keep up the great work!

me gusta por donde vas con la maqueta que como ves es muy distinto a una de plástico yo abre hecho un centenar de tanques aviones y barcos de plástico y con el Sanjuan me tire mas de una año y medio, animo y veras que es muy apasionante estresante y cabreante, cuando tienes que hacer cientos de nudos pero el resultado merece la pena
por cierto tus barcos de plástico y todas tus maquetas son fantásticas y seguro esta no será menos

Muito obrigado! Eu gosto de trabalhar com Plástico, mas a madeira "sente-se " muito mais... É organica e a sensação de construir um barco de madeira é"estranhamente" recompensadora... Vê-lo crescer aos poucos é algo que motiva... Estou a gostar imenso da experiência

hi, I bought an old ship whose construction boards are very old and very stiff, it feels like they are about to crack, how can I return them to flexibility for construction?
Try to put them in water for a few minuts.. not too many.. good luck

Hola estoy haciendo este mismo modelo de Occre y la verdad deja mucho que desear piezas en plástico que afean el modelo final piezas en metal cuándo tendrían que ser de madera instrucciones incompletas a la hora de montar las velas y por si fuera poco bobinas de hilos insuficientes para terminar, hace 14 años desde que hice el San juan nepomuceno y pensé que en estos años la tecnología y por ello la calidad habría mejorado pero en este caso no es así
Gracias! Por lo que se occre está planejando que sus nuevos modelos tengam estas piecas de plástico remplacadas por madera pero no estoy cierto
