Sound of White Noise 5. Fistful of Metal Great job as always Bryce! Congrats on the increasing views! You are doing a great job my friend, keep up the good work!
Yeah, Among The Living is just sick, 10/10 for me. Not a single bad song on the album. I Am The Law's section starting at the 3:33 mark is one of my favorite moments in all of metal.
Dude, I really like your videos. Evidently, there’s a lot of ranking albums out there. I like it that you get right to it and keep the pace going at a good rhythm. Ok, I grew up with bands like this. “Among the Living” is my #1, “Persistence of Time” my #2 and State of Euphoria, #3. There’s a few albums I admit I never listened to.
BryceTalksMetal No worries, I mean if you ever do get round to ranking any of the Germanic thrash bands I’d be pretty gassed... actually maybe not Destruction... they’re okay. 😂
Got the Time is a metal cover of a pop song written by Joe Jackson so I thought it was pretty cool. My favorite Anthrax album (though it's not really an album) is Attack of the Killer B's. That was the first one I got by them when I was 14 in 1991. It spoiled me haha I guess because nothing else they put out afterward compared .
I must be the exception as I love VOLUME 8 THE THREAT IS REAL. The first Anthrax album I ever heard and my favs are Crush, Catharsis, Inside out, Harms way, Toast to the extras, Stealing from a thief and Pieces. A very solid album in my book.

Anthrax: Gold: spreading the disease Silver: among the living Copper: persistence of time, for all kings, worship music, sound of white noise Mmmmm: fistul of metal, state of Euphoria, we've come for You all, stomp 442 Bad: vol 8
Spreading the disease is my personal favorite; I can listen to that album from beginning to end. Among the Living takes 2nd place because I like every song except NFL. IMO, that song has way too much "everyone in the band jump in the mic and chant" to the point where it just sounds goofy and easy to mock nowadays. Rest of the album was killer though.

Thank you Bryce for giving "State of Euphoria" a respectable spot on your list. I too don't understand the disrespect that particular album receives for some reason.
I do agree with most of your list but I would take fistful of metal out of the top 5 and put persistence of time in the top 5 probably anthrax's darkest album and it's heavy
In 84, when Fistful came out, it blew me away and it has been a love affair ever since. I get it that later fans prefer the Joey era. But for me, the mosh/skater thing never really did it. Even worse when they started crossing over with rap. I am the man : ridiculous! Their albums, apart from the debut, don’t age as well as for instance Testament, Overkill, VioLence, Flotsam or Metal Church.
Great video. #1 Persistance of Time..purely for the heaviness. In my world guitar solo is great. #2 We've come for you all...again heavy..great drums especially nobody knows anything. #3 Spreading the disease #4 State of Euphoria..who cares wins should be played live..but it never has! #5 Greater of 2 evils..I think this is a great album because a lot of the pre persistance stuff hasn't aged well IMO, this has crunch, speed and heaviness. I wish all bands would do an album like this, where they ask the fans to pick songs to be replayed like Anthrax did. Anthrax was the first Thrash band I'd heard and State of Euphoria was my first introduction prior to that I was listening to motley crue and guns and roses, so it was probably the clean vocals that enabled me to transition to thrash music, I think it was joeys sarcastic singing that drew me in but I definitely think the band might have been much more successful with a different vocalist, that being said all the big 4 vocalists are different and it makes sense that Anthrax are in one corner and none of the bands are similar in that respect. It's definitely worth checking out Skeletons in the closet live in Chile..probably the heaviest song they've done live..at the same time check out some drum covers of the same song by you tube drummers. Ball of confusion is another good song where Joey and John both sing together and it works really well..I would be happy for both singers to be in Anthrax..I think that would proppell them. Finally check out Charlie Benante you tube channel...loads of interesting stuff released during lock down period. Cheers. Love your format to the list and really enjoyed the vid!
If you ever start running out of content, you should consider doing like a mega video of ranking every single song. That would definitely pull out the deep cuts from the worst albums
Always nice this ranking videos. My fave is the debut but they have a lot of good ones like your number 1. With JOHN BUSH i like the 93 and 2003 album specialy but i think his voice fite better with ARMORED SAINT. I am not a big fan of the comeback of Belladonna with ANTHRAX. Live great but the studio albums were weak imo.

We've Come for You All 10. Volume 8: The Threat Is Real 11. Stomp 442 I went through their whole catalog lately and ranked them song by song, and I was surprised how much I disliked both State of Euphoria and Persistence of Time. And I thought I would've liked Sound of White Noise more than their newest two albums, but they were both pretty good and White Noise had a bit too many average or below average tracks to get it higher. Also I kinda like the country song on Volume 8. I both like and dislike it. It's charmingly 100% pure country instead of country hard rock that for example Metallica's Mama Said was. It gets some points from me for its honesty. Volume 8 also at least has a few memorable moments (Inside Out's heaviness comes to mind), while I've already forgotten every single note from Stomp 442. That's why it's higher. Fistful of Metal is one of the greatest metal debut albums ever. Neil Turbin sounds crazy! He probably is my favorite Anthrax singer. The last couple of minutes of A.D.I./The Horror of It All on Among the Living is probably one of my all time top10 (or even top3) metal moments. Too bad the song takes forever to get to that part.
1. Spreading the Disease 2. Among the Living 3. Persistence of Time 4. State of Euphoria 5. Fistful of Metal 6. Sound of White Noise 7. Worship Music 8. For All Kings 9. Stomp 442 10. Vol. 8 The Threat is Real 11. We've Come for You All (modern bubble gum metal) Albums with Joey are the best.

#3 Spreading the disease
#4 State of Euphoria..who cares wins should be played live..but it never has!
Thanks!
I got kicked out of school for wearing a persistence of time shirt.
Cuz it was abbreviated pot..
If you ever start running out of content, you should consider doing like a mega video of ranking every single song. That would definitely pull out the deep cuts from the worst albums
Make a Overkill Ranking please. Greetz from Germany
OVERKILL ranking!!!!!!

11. Stomp 442
I went through their whole catalog lately and ranked them song by song, and I was surprised how much I disliked both State of Euphoria and Persistence of Time.
Persistence Of Time is my favorite Anthrax album.
Loved Sound of White Noise with Bush. Saw that tour with, of all people, Damn Yankees. Only and Room for One More are awesome metal songs.
1. Spreading the Disease
2. Among the Living
3. Persistence of Time
4. State of Euphoria
5. Fistful of Metal
6. Sound of White Noise
7. Worship Music
8. For All Kings
9. Stomp 442
10. Vol. 8 The Threat is Real
11. We've Come for You All (modern bubble gum metal)
Albums with Joey are the best.
Among The Living, Persistence of Time, Spreading the Disease, Sound of White Noise, State of Euphoria, Worship Music, Fistful of Metal, For All Kings, Stomp 442, W.C.F.Y.A., Vol 8
I like vol 8 lol
anthrax is definitely my favorite out of the big four. state of euphoria and among the living my favorite albums of theirs
🤘 nice to see some love for 'Thrax, they don't seem to have much respect in the metal community
They're my 2nd fave of the Big 4, after 'Deth.
Anthrax is the best
Great video. Do you have a Patreon? Stay Heavy, dude. My favorite album îs State of Euphoria. 🤠🎸🤘🏻🥃
Thanks man!... and I don’t have one at the moment
I'm writing this as I'm halfway through yours. I definitely feel quite a bit different than you, especially on the new and Bush stuff(but who give a shit). Here goes my ranking:
Honorable mentions:
**The Greater of two Evils, great versions by John
***Bring the Noise...... love it
**all the killer soundtrack tunes from Last Action Hero, Beavis & Butthead, Bordello of Blood, etc.
11. Stomp 442
10. State of Euphoria
9. We've Come for you All
8. Fistful of Metal
7. Volume 8
6. Worship Music
5. For All Kings
4. Spreading the Disease
3. Persistence of Time
2. Sound of White Noise
1. Among the Living
I think your ranking shows good taste. Saw another ranking vid where Fistful of Metal is number one. So, in other words, the guy doesn't really like Anthrax and prefers cliche crap over a band that matures and progresses.
Overkill please!!
Persistence at #6?! This guy is obviously joking. Easily their best along with Among the Living and Spreading the Disease
Not joking at all schmuck
I still love Volume 8. There’s a fair amount of filler, but the songs that hit _hit hard_ .
Stomp 442 is damn near perfect.
Fight me.
Stomp 442 really blows. But Persistence is definitely my favorite.
Not gonna lie I expected For All Kings to be at the top I’m surprised you didn’t like it, that’s my favorite.
Come on dude...john bush is the best vocalist for anthrax
Fistful of metal was so lackluster I lost my copy and never bothered getting another one.
great albuns and great video! top sepultura albums...!
Thanks! 👍🏻... and I might
Attack of the killer bees changed lives
Persistence of Time is my favorite...got the time is a joe jackson cover you should listen to the original...
Your background has some of my favorite bands grim reaper iron maiden painkiller from Judas priest and freaking wasp you're just missing a dio one unless I just haven't seen it yet
I don’t think I have any Dio on vinyl, I do have some RJD Sabbath and Rainbow on vinyl though... have a lot of the Dio band stuff on Cassette and CD
I like Persistence of Time but I just can't place in in the top 5, everyone else I know has it in their top 3
Good list no issues here
