"St Anger" was my introduction to Metallica. My uncle heard me listening to it and immediately switched it off, saying that he couldn't let me listen to "Shit Metallica". We went over to his and he put on "Ride the lightning". He was absolutely right to do so.
@@Supreme-Mentalman Don't get me wrong. I still have a soft spot for "St Anger". The lead single is normally one of the first things I download to any new phone but the earlier Metallica stuff I was introduced to that day is better.
I like RtL but I wish James voice was more like master of puppets era. Its crazy how much his voice matured from kill em all to lightning but theres still little bit of that kid energy in his voice which im not a massive fan of. In my alternate dream world we would have all those albums with early 90's Hetfield haha maybe with AI in the future. I probably sound like I'm just splitting hairs here but obviously both kea and rtl are absolute classics and great albums
Thank god for uncles with taste. All my favorite shit came from older family members. Without them, I'd still be listening to Back Street Boys and Nelson.
A lot of old "thrash metal" fans will dislike Load/Reload, but both albums have songs that are legitimately beloved by almost the entire fanbase. Fuel and The Memory Remains for example have been staples of their setlist for 25 years straight. I still enjoy both those albums a lot.
@@luke5100 Metallica is my favourite band of all time (though I rarely listen to them anymore) and Reload was released just around the peak of my love for them so I loved it straight out of the gate, but yeah, it's a bit of a dumb song. Still a banger though.
I liked Fuel at first, but I'm kind of sick of it. There are better songs on Re-Load. My biggest issue with Re-load is some of the terrible songs on there. There are great songs on both albums. They should have just cut the bad ones and made them one album. I think people's biggest problem is them cutting their hair short. That is cringe no matter how you look at it. It's fine if 1 or 2 prefer short hair, but all of them doing it together was just weird. Obviously James wears his hair short now days, but Kirk prefers his long.
@@woofspider330 I’m sure he would have ranked it between death magnetic and hardwired. All those three albums are vaguely the same level of mid/ just good
The most amazing thing about Metallica is that they are the biggest Metal band of all time despite the fact that they essentially coast off the momentum of their first decade of output. Their first 5 albums - 4 monumental Thrash classics and one uber-popular Stadium-Metal album. That 5 album run proves to be enduringly and universally popular. They have their fair share of haters but no other Metal band seems to captivate non-Metal fans as much as Metallica does. People can argue that Sabbath, Priest and Maiden are superior bands overall but Metallica have a different audience to those bands. They're the one Metal band that even casual Rock fans somehow get behind and appreciate. As someone who has dived deep into many lesser known Thrash bands - I still don't think anything quite matches the greatness of Metallica at their peak. It just goes to show - legendary status doesn't come from how long you hold your peak - but how high that peak is. They had a phenomenal decade and have put out some pretty good stuff since - but let's face it - it's that first decade that will go down as their immortal legacy.
Whenever I tell people Metallica is one of my favorite bands, I always have to preface that I specifically mean their 80s stuff. Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are two of my absolute favorite albums ever and I think their absolute masterpieces, but I haven’t regularly had Metallica in my rotation in like at least a decade. To me, their entire legacy is their first five albums, and death magnetic because of nostalgia reasons. That’s the first record that got me into heavy metal music.
Watched this entire video to hear his take on the newest albums and he left it out. Once he said Master of Puppets I was like “oh shit, he thinks 72 Seasons is better than this?!?!” 😅😂
I didn't care for any of the last 2 albums. I gave them a good college try, they didn't do it for me. They are average at best. I'd rather listen to St. Anger. Serious.
@@JimmyMon666music is subjective and opinions are like assholes everyone has one. Everything from death magnetic till now blows away st anger but like I said music is subjective.
As someone who loves Metallica way too much and has been following you for years, i have to say you're killing me with this one, Finn! Your takes and the chat comments are hilarious but i'm secretly dying inside 🤣 I love it, man The Lars "drum tutorial beat" comment got me 🤣
Context is key. Kill Em All came out in ‘83. You don’t get a lot of that other stuff in the late 80’s without it and Ride The Lightning. Theres a reason that and Master of Puppets are consistently ranked in the top 10 metal albums of all time.
Meh, I dunno about this. You had Slayer's debut a few months later and Motorhead and Venom's influence was already spreading far and wide. I'm not sure many thrash bands were solely influenced by Metallica.
Load & ReLoad are often hated on, and while I do believe that they both have filler tracks, you gotta admit that the production/mixing is excellent on both albums. I do think there are great songs in each, like Bleeding Me, The Outlaw Torn, The Fixxxer, Hero of the Day, Unforgiven II, King Nothing, Where The Wild Things Are... If they chose to just make one album with just these songs together, it would've probably been a lot better.
I have a playlist of the best Load and Reload tracks in the order I think they should’ve been released in as one album, certified classic if they did that
I totally agree with all of this. Load was definitely the stronger of the two, but if you swapped 3 or 4 of the weaker songs for 3 or 4 of the best ReLoad tracks it would be a great album. And it's definitely my favorite mix/production as far as their albums go. I think mid-90s rock production in general was great. The black album is my favorite Metallica album, but Bleeding Me might be my favorite Metallica song
Just combine the best songs off load and reload then the rest could be like how death magnetic had the beyond magnetic, then the left overs could be like a bonus reload, load is the good, reload are the weaker songs
There’s some decent songs in there. 80s metal bands were really trying to find themselves at that time. They coulda been incredible if they went the Pantera route and did groove metal, I think.
@@UncleTravelingMatt2 To some it may be a stretch, but I genuinely think The House That Jack Built was influenced partly by Pantera. From the pure groove of the instrumental to a lot of the details with the vocals. Obviously he isn't screaming, but I do think this song is reminds me of stuff like This Love when it comed to the mood.
One of my favorite things about St. Anger is the remix video where he just says "Fran-tic-tic-tic-tic', but never says tock. Genuinely better than the entirety of that album.
Next up: The AC/DC discography. The video will be 7 hours long just to rank every album as "it's not bad if I'm sitting in a dive bar or working on my Harley."
I absolutely love the attitude that “I’m too cool and waaaay too heavy for Metallica” because it’s such a high school way of saying that you are soooo incredibly awesome and even to Metallica fans, it impresses the hell out of them too, since you see cooler than their favorite band. Gotta love the HS psychology.
I first saw Metallica June 1988, and this was their setlist. The Ecstasy of Gold (Ennio Morricone cover) Creeping Death For Whom the Bell Tolls Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Harvester of Sorrow Whiplash Fade to Black Seek & Destroy Master of Puppets Encore: Last Caress (Misfits cover) Am I Evil? (Diamond Head cover) Battery
@@atvena Blackened and One were part of “And Justice for All”, which was released in Aug 1988, after I saw them. Maybe they felt they had enough from “Kill ‘Em All (83), Ride the Lightning (84) and Master of Puppets (86).

The mix was garbage, but the hook on "harvester of sorrow" to a small town deep south metalhead was unearthly! I traded a Motorhead tape for it. Check out the "...and justice for Jason" version

I actually got into Metallica because I bought Reload when I'm came out in middle school. Then went backwards so I have a big appreciation for that era of Metallica. Having said that, Ride and Master are absolutely my two favorite albums from them.
''St.Anger is bad, Fuel is cringe, Temu sponsor, Who even listens to Metallica for lyrics?'' Boy I know you warned us about your opinions being wrong and terrible but this is straight up AI generated war crime opinions.
As a long term Metallica fan (AJFA FTW for me!) I feel like they became the “U2 of metal” after the black album - load/reload - Grunge, St Anger - Nu metal, etc
If you're not a fan of the cardboard sound of this album, There's a video out there called and justice for jason where the bass has been raised. It sounds awesome.
Load was actually my first “metal” (let alone Metallica) album, so I’ll always have a soft spot for it. I was 17 when I bought it in early 2000, and while it took a couple listens for me to get into it, I eventually grew to love it. I remember being really surprised when I later found out about the enormous backlash the album got upon release. Which I agree was pretty unfair in hindsight (and very of-its-time - I don’t think an album like Load would be as controversial/hated if it were released today), but it’s also probably a “you have to have been there to really understand it” thing. Fortunately, hatred for the album definitely seems to have died down. And those who dislike it now seem to dislike it more for the quality of the music itself than for superficial/unrelated factors like the band’s haircuts or change in music stylings. Sorry for the long comment!
When I was in 7th/8th grade in 2003-2004, everybody made fun of me for liking Metallica. At some point in my life I figured out they are absolutely massive and are apparently loved by many. Maybe they were lying or maybe it was the St. Anger effect. Idk but AJFA will forever be one of my favorite albums of all time, regardless of sound.
Anyone I talk to will say AJFA, even though Master is sort of the most artistically complete album if you get my meaning. Personally, always AJFA. It opened the door to more progressive music which I will always be thankful for! AJFA is, in football (soccer) referenses, Thomas Müller. Everyone thinks it's great, but it's still sort of classified as "underrated".
I came into Metallica when they were still making thrash albums. I think a lot of this has to do with how popular they were. Even when they were a thrash band, they were the top thrash band, and there was a lot of jealousy and resentment. Then after they changed, people had a sense of betrayal. I didn't care for their stuff from Load on. Just not my taste. But I don't undertstand why people get so mean about what music people like. If you like Metallica, great. If you like Megadeth, great. If you like Testament, great. It is all music
@@Bedrockbrendanmetal is full of close minded gatekeepers and popular is bad. People hate on Metallica and its members because it's "cool" and trendy to hate on them within the metal community. I don't think they sold out with load music wise it was the look that turned people off. The hair was trying to break away from the typical 80s hair band look but the make up stuff was a bad idea. This is James giving up control and letting kirk and Lars decide more stuff and it didn't work out lol. Death magnetic is awesome...everything they've done after imo. Metallica was never 100% thrash even in the early days after like kill em all. Idk why people shit on them for not being 100% thrash when they stopped that in 1983 lol...I also love Alice in chains and stuff like that so the load stuff was cool for me. I don't care about them being 100% thrash because imo they never were anyways and I like alot of other styles of music too.
When I was in 6th grade a girl made fun of me for liking RATM because it wasn't on the 'So Fresh' top 40 compilations. She was shocked when I told her that they'd won Grammies and were bigger than anything she listened to. I was an annoying kid though.
Learning that Anthrax agrees with you on something musical must be like learning that you have one niche political stance in common with Hitler. Like, yikes, better re-evaluate that one...
Death Magnetic is so underrated. The songwriting actually sounds like they put effort in (tsk tsk 72S), and even though the mix can be literally painful, isn’t metal supposed to be rough around the edges?
That album came out while I was in middle school and was my first real exposure to Metallica and heavy metal. I absolutely adore that album since it got me down to rabbit hole of older Metallica and more metal music I never would’ve found if not for that album. Putting my nostalgia aside, sadly I think by the time that album came out many people had already given up on metallica and they were just a legacy by that point
Has anyone ever bought anything from Temu that was not broken or did not work? My wife made three separate purchases, and all three of them were either broken damaged or did not work.
I just recently listened to the …And Justice for Jason album and it was so nice to hear Jason Newstead’s genius on the bass. My biggest issue with Metallica is how they treated Jason and And Justice for All is a perfect example of how far they’d take it. If Metallica has been consistent in anything it’s having very talented bass players
The amount of friends that use it is crazy, I've warned them and tried to get them to actual do some research on it but they are like......ohhhhh look cheap
For real. I'm not a Metallica fan, but I listened through St. Anger to see what was actually going on, and the main riff of The Unnamed Feeling is so simple but feels so good. I recorded St. Anger with shorter songs and better production. The Unnamed Feeling still bangs, but so does the rest of the album now. St. [b]Anger available on my channel now. XD
I actually consider St. Anger a return to their thrash roots. I'm one of the few who like it. I was just glad they got heavy again even if the sound quality was shiite. I really hated them putting out songs like "I disappear" which is just cringe, I was glad they went away from the sell out route with St. Anger. But they definitely made some mistakes.
I find it interesting you chose the Black album as #1 being a thrash fan. No thrash in Black and dropped their tuning down a notch. Think they were trying to compensate slower lazy tempo tunes with heavier guitar keys. Black is when Metallica sold its thrash soul for next level production and world fame.
Thank you for including the Garage days ep! That was where I got in to them…it’s my sister’s only Metallica album she likes😂😂😂 It really should be treated as an album, any Thrasher back in the day had to have this tape😂
Holy cow, I’ve been listening to Death Magnetic since its release (and it’s my favourite from their 2000s albums) but your description of the front cover cannot be unseen now. 😱
@@Soldano999 always saw it as an image of a coffin being buried surrounded by a magnetic field (particles). Apparently the album started as a tribute to music stars who have passed like Layne Staley. Hetfield also explained in an interview: “Thinking about death…just like a magnet, some people are drawn towards it, [and] other people are afraid of it and push away.”
So I just spent the whole morning at work listening to thrash metal albums. I went through Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, Anthrax, Slayer, Sepultura, and Ride the Lightning. As much as I like a ton of thrash bands, Metallica’s albums are just so distinctively a step above. They have powerful ballads about war and loss and insanity, adding some real variety as opposed to just fast riffs every song. Also, they were one of the earlier thrash bands like it or not. Kill ‘Em All is a top notch album and it was 1983. And some hard riffs that still get me to this day. I love the riffs on Creeping Death every time I hear it. After Justice it was kind of all over but their 80s albums are just unmatched I think. Megadeth is a close contender but they never had the songwriting of Metallica.
Actually, the Fuel song was my introductory song into Metallica, but when I discovered their older material, it definitely blew their buttrock stuff out of the water.
I think Ride the Lightning is a bit easier to listen through no skip than Master of Puppets but the best songs on Master are slightly better Ride. …And Justice for All has that tone and Lar’s best drumming. Three way tie for me
I mostly agree and see what james was going for with the guitar tone but the album sounds really bad imo and a lot of people especially today feel that way. Andy K (sp?) and others have done good remixes on RUclips. I cant listen, it sounds so empty. A good live mix is better
@@connormaloney2180 I understand there is always variation in opinion. For me, I skip Battery, Sanitarium, Orion, and Damage. I knew this sounds like an odd mix but they don’t do it for me. I never slip Escape on Ride because I actually like the song.

St. Anger is bad. Almost everything is wrong with it. The production, performances, and song arrangements, are not good. HOWEVER, the ideas are there. This is why I re-recorded it with shorter songs, better production, and even some additions. St. [b]Anger is a good album and it's available now on my channel. 😛
Check out the version of the album I uploaded to my channel. Re-recorded the whole album but shortened the songs and updated the production. Album slaps cuz the riffs are dope.
I always loved Metallica since I was in middle school. For some reason St. Anger is the record I keep going back to the most. And I even love the snare sound
I think the first five albums are top tier, having said that, it was Load that got me into the band. I was 12 when that came out and I saw the music video for Until it Sleeps on MTV when it came out. So that album and era will always hold a special place in my heart. I love those albums. Load and reload, S&M, Garage Inc. I Disappear. Even some songs on St Anger are killer live.
The beauty of Metallica is the album rankings are defined by the era you got into them... Personally, I got into them around the time of the MI-II soundrack, and enjoyed St anger. After that was able to go back and got to discover the early years which I also love.
Interesting observation on Finn’s rankings of when he got into Metallica. I’m 54 and my top ranking order is the first four albums as they came out. I definitely agree with Finn’s bottom four rankings. 🤟🏻🎸
You didn't include their newest album, witch is actually quite good. I think when talking about Metallica, I take into account that they have always evolved, never been afraid to take the risk, and I can respect that. Yes, what they came out with isn't going to be a fit for any one audience, and that's the big challenge with them. Plus, you have to remember, they are a live band, and the quality of their live performances are good enough to carry them through whatever album they put out because they make their entire fan base happy with their live set.
@@UnhumanNewman yeah it happens sometimes. I've seen them live maybe a dozen times, last year at Download they sucked. They were doing this European tour where they played 2 sets over a weekend for absolutely no reason
Actually a solid list. Metallica was the gateway for so many into “heavy music”. Their success speaks for itself. Fond memories learning from my Kill ‘em All guitar tab book. Listening to Ride the Lightning on my walkman. Finding the Garage revisisted CD at a pawn shop thinking I found a rare gem.
When I saw Lightning and Puppets ranked where they were I was thinking you were going to rank 72 Seasons above them, but that album wasn't covered here, was curious of your take on it.
If you took the best songs from Load and Reload - It would honestly be a great album. King nothing and Until it sleeps are one of my fav Metallica songs ever.
That's actually two songs genius. I'm guessing from the number of grammatical errors you made in a single sentence that you're a product of the public school system. I'd wager you probably didn't do very well either.
Picked up Puppets in middle school in 86' and have been on the Metallica train ever since. IMO there are no bad albums. While Load/ReLoad are not my favorites, I can still honestly say they are solid albums with some really great songs...that's why many of the tracks are in their live sets. You can shit on St Anger's (people love to shit on it don't they) snare sound all you like but it's a pingy snare, So Fucking What...there are still some bangers on there. The first 5 albums are perfection and put out in less than 10 years...that is unheard of but they still have put out some great material the last 30 years whether you are man enough to admit it or not. It's called evolution, that's why they stand on top. I love Megadeth but some of their albums are hard to tell apart..Slayer just kept making the same album over and over again...Anthrax on the other hand grew and evolved as well (but they're another band people like to shit on). LuLu is not a Metallica album and how the fuck are you going to leave out a fantastic album in 72 Seasons? 38 year's ago Metallica said “Following our instinct, not a trend, Go against the grain until the end”...they kept their word and we love them for it.
This. They've always done what they wanted, when they wanted and how they wanted. Didn't care what the fans or label or anyone else thought. That's the opposite of selling out which is why I find it odd so many people say they "sold out". Just because they tried different styles and were very popular doesn't mean automatically they sold out lol. Alot of people say that just because others do aka the blind sheep syndrome I call it.
....... no 72 Seasons?! I assume this was recorded before April of last year? As for your ranking I am actually surprised you don't like St Anger considering how raw sounding/ hardcore vibe it is. I love that album as I do love all their studio albums 🤘 They don't have a bad album to me, some are different than others but all rock in their own way!
And Justice for All was always my favorite. The guitar tone was so brutal and slicing no matter the quality. When i started playing guitar that tone and Dimebag's were what I wanted the most
Metallica are not the heaviest band out there, but you’ll have to find a really strong argument against their songwriting, because I believe they are THE best songwriters in metal, at least for their first 5 albums. Unlike a lot of the other metal bands of their era, they showed a clear evolution in sound, musicianship, and ambition from Kill ‘Em’ All all the way up to …and Justice for all. Seeing them go from a pretty foundational yet standard hardcore/thrash band to making 10-minute long borderline prog songs is astounding, however this wouldn’t be without their songwriting and of course Cliff Burton, who introduced the band to a lot of musical theory. You can shit on this band all you want, but there is no denying that they left an indelible impact on not just metal, but music. And to piss off all you Megadeth fans, I think Metallica kicks the shit out of Megadeth in the songwriting department.
Pantera is a glam band that just heard Metallica and wanted to be a thrash band. Finn loves them and the other posers who did the same. Nothing wrong with that but you have to keep it in mind before trying to convince yourself that he knows what actual thrash metal is.
Finn is the only guy who says I want Metallica to be thrash like Master and justice but picks the black album as his number 1. Just another mainstream basic b1tch
There are people who can look back with nostalgia goggles, but I'd only heard St. Anger a few times on TV when I was a kid. Listening to the album as an adult with no nostalgia, I can hear what they were going for, but they just did a horrible job. The ideas are pretty good, but everything else is mid or bad. That's why I made some changes, re-recorded the album, and put it up on my channel. I saw what it could have been if it was done well. :P
12:53 Anton Corbijn, who art directed for Depeche Mode and Joy Division for years, was the guy responsible for the makeup, pimp suits, short hair. Wild to have an 80s synthpop art director doing a Metallica album sleeve lol
Ride the Lightning has the most of their top quality songs IMO. They hit higher highs on Justice and the Black Album but Ride the Lightning is so consistently good top to bottom, makes it my favorite from them for sure
You know what? In all my years of being a huge Metallica fan when I was a Metal noob in 6th grade and the Black Album being the first album I bought. I was not even fully aware that it was THE notorious “black album” because I wasn’t aware that it was actually just a self titled album and everyone called it the black album after the fact. And though I haven’t really been into them for the better part of the last 15-20 years I certainly listened to the entirety of their discography enough times for a lifetime. I fell off after Death Magnetic because I finally grew up after High School lol. But point being, in ALL THIS TIME!!! I never noticed the Black Album really is a FLAWLESSLY MIXED album! Bob Rock for as much of a goober as he is and how meh everything after it was… earned his paycheck with that album alone.
Why do people think you have to "grow up" or "move on" from Metallica as if you cant enjoy their shit past a certain age which imo is ridiculous. I saw them in st louis in November and it was packed and such a badass show I seen people from children to 75 years old and everyone in between and everyone was loving it. It's trendy to hate on Metallica or demean people for like Metallica as if they're somehow "metal noobs" because they like Metallica. They're so popular that the metal gate keepers 0 in on them and their fans. This is just my .02 being a 40 year old guy who first got into them in 1991 with the black album when I was 8.
And Justice For All is def my fav Metallica. I’m glad you put them above Master and Ride the Lightning. I don’t understand why they never went back and remastered it and turned the bass up though.

@@Supreme-Mentalman 😄Good one! I get the joke!
As a big grunge and alt rock/metal fan I really like Load and Reload.
Load is in my top 5 Metallica albums. I love it. King Nothing is one of their best songs.
Load and ReLoad have some really good songs, but too much filler on both which makes them not amazing overall
We need A7X ranked next
I think it will go very similar to what we just witnessed.
Yes!
@@woofspider330 I’m sure he would have ranked it between death magnetic and hardwired. All those three albums are vaguely the same level of mid/ just good
Whole discography is great, probably because it’s all so different
Everything after Waking the Fallen is dogshit
You're 100% correct. Makes me think of GnR that really only made one great album and can still do massive tours.
They've done great things for the Genre
Most bands can’t make one good album and they made 5 classics. I also really enjoy everything since Death Magnetic so I like 8 Metallica albums not 5.
@@xwhite2020GnR made 3 masterpieces, come on.
Watched this entire video to hear his take on the newest albums and he left it out. Once he said Master of Puppets I was like “oh shit, he thinks 72 Seasons is better than this?!?!” 😅😂
I was thinking this exact same thing. I wonder if he recorded this before that album came out? And only released it now
Oh so he didn't mention 72 seasons? I thought i was trippin and somehow missed it
I didn't care for any of the last 2 albums. I gave them a good college try, they didn't do it for me. They are average at best. I'd rather listen to St. Anger. Serious.
@@JimmyMon666music is subjective and opinions are like assholes everyone has one. Everything from death magnetic till now blows away st anger but like I said music is subjective.
72 Seasons is my go to album for my long runs. Good energy, no ballads, and I can simply press play and go.
As someone who loves Metallica way too much and has been following you for years, i have to say you're killing me with this one, Finn! Your takes and the chat comments are hilarious but i'm secretly dying inside 🤣 I love it, man
The Lars "drum tutorial beat" comment got me 🤣
Load and Reload are legit great albums. Great song writing, great hooks.
100%
And many b-sides material filler that unnecessarily weigh it down.
Bleeding Me is top tier Metallica
These 2 albums are the shit! I’ll die on that hill!!
@@HotStrangeikr i love that song
There's Back in Black and then there's the rest. The end.

I absolutely love the attitude that “I’m too cool and waaaay too heavy for Metallica” because it’s such a high school way of saying that you are soooo incredibly awesome and even to Metallica fans, it impresses the hell out of them too, since you see cooler than their favorite band. As a long term Metallica fan (AJFA FTW for me!) I feel like they became the “U2 of metal” after the black album - load/reload - Grunge, St Anger - Nu metal, etc
"Technically, it's a cover of Kid Rock." - I died. lol.
And justice for all has always been one of my top choices . Just the rawness and the tightness. Black album had such great production

I actually consider St. Anger a return to their thrash roots. I'm one of the few who like it. I was just glad they got heavy again even if the sound quality was shiite.
UNPOPULAR OPINION: Death Magnetic is the best Metallica album
Excellent ranking. My favorite is ... And Justice for All, though I only listen to the ... And Justice for Jason, where the bass can be heard.

Ive never seen Finn jam to a song this happy. Thank you.
....... no 72 Seasons?! I assume this was recorded before April of last year?
As for your ranking I am actually surprised you don't like St Anger considering how raw sounding/ hardcore vibe it is. I love that album as I do love all their studio albums 🤘
They don't have a bad album to me, some are different than others but all rock in their own way!
Forgot 72 Seasons. Probably mid tier though. I have yet to actually make it through that entire album because it’s pretty meh in my opinion.
Thank you for pointing out Damage Inc.! It's one of my favorites from them and I always felt it's underrated.
Finn why did you leave 72 Seasons?
Finn is the only guy who says I want Metallica to be thrash like Master and justice but picks the black album as his number 1. Just another mainstream basic b1tch
St Anger is now seen as better now because it's the first Metallica album that lots of people that are now in their 30s heard
3:11 LOL I've been a Metallica fan scince I was 12 and I've NEVER heard that until now.
1:20 your a dialogue is amazing. 😂
@@midnight347 facts, no matter how much people cope no metal album comes close to Puppets and Justice, they're the kings for a reason
And Justice For All is def my fav Metallica. I’m glad you put them above Master and Ride the Lightning. I don’t understand why they never went back and remastered it and turned the bass up though.
As a 15 year old kid who first discovered Metallica by chance at my local record store in 1984, the only albums I listen to are the first three. Cliff and Dave were the reasons this band WAS good
Yes
Wrong. But I'm sure you're used to that. Being wrong.
