I hope Nick continues with this series; grinding out the milestones was one of the first things I did when I got Smash Ultimate back in 2018 since I never managed to get them all in Brawl or Smash 4, so it's fun to see someone doing this 3 years later and checking out all the cool side stuff we ignore in Smash.
I imagine that the Robin achievement was to show a beginner the properties of both a gentleman and a rapid jab. Both of Robin's are drastically different, with the gentleman killing a lot sooner. It's not clear how a beginner would figure out the difference on their own tho.

as someone who completed all achievements, completed calssic mode with all characters except sora in 1 and 2 player, and was bored a lot in quarantine, i can give you a valuable tip: if you ever use gold or a ticket to continue a classic mode, you'll max get a 9.8. every time. easiest classic mode to do it with is wolf in my opinion
To me the easiest classic route is young link: there is only one annoying horde battle (against 4 YLs), but all the others are 1v1, and you can easily gimp ganon and some others. The boss is also not very hard, beast ganon rarely hits behind him
For the 20-hit combo challenge, you can cheat by picking any character, putting the opponent at 999%, grabbing him and just pummel it frickin' 100 times

These challenges don’t really feel like you can earn them without trying to get them, unlike previous game’s challenges, which usually had fewer examples of that. Seriously, Ken’s Century Smash Specials only challenges is dumb.
Most of them are just "oh, you happen to have done something specific? Cool, here's a reward!" but about 10-20% are actual challenges you are very unlikely to get without trying to.

Fun fact, the down throw to down-b trick no longer works as his down-b was patched to be considered a grab and attack. It was patched out due to the K.Rool's and Ridley's wanting to "do a little bit of trolling".
This is why I prefer the achievements of Brawl. Brawl involves progress while 4 and Ultimate have the weirdest achievements that have nothing to do with any sort of progress.
If you use a rapid jab in practice mode you can get very high comboes, and in new pork city it can go infinitely, leaving my little Mac with a combo count of 16k
I was doing the simon acheivment where you have to use a final smash as him, and i missed and still got it. you don't even have to land it, which is kinda funny
Honestly, the first time I've completed all the Challenges, I felt that there was nothing left for me to do (except attempt to getting in Elite Smash but PFFFFT like that's ever going to happen!!) And then BOOM... Sora arrived
