Speaking of level 9 spikes. I was on final destination, Ihad spiked a dark pit cpu with marios golden F air. He was so close to the blast zone and t and then the cpu used up b, and footstooled me before i was able to use up b to grab ledge. FeelsBadMan.
I now this probably won’t be useful but for anyone stuck on the meteor smash challenge, use Chrom on the mushroom kingdom map (Make sure stage hazards, spirits, and handicaps are turned off.) Make sure your battle is a timed 3:00 battle. Once you’ve started the match just jump above the pit in the center of the map, if you do your Up-B while still above it when people jump past they will fall down and die with you. This is how I got the challenge completed, so I hope it helps.

Carriing someone to the blastzone with ridley and surviving is actually possible, but you have to press A to eject your oponent at the right time, wich is not possible if you just grabbed him. Side note : on the super mario stage, do a ridley side-B at the bottom floor on someone that have high percent, it's hilarious

for the inkling paint roller challenge I also did it with special conditions as well, however I made everyone big slow and heavy so it was easier to land the roller and ground them. For the level 9 cpu challenges that didn't require specific kinds of K.O's I just used gust bellows to push em off the edge and for the robin flurry attack challenge I had only pit falls turn on and threw em all over the stage
My strategy for the Robin rapid jab was picking Mushroomy Kingdom, which is a moving stage with a walkoff KO. I wound up beating the challenge by fighting Mewtwo for his high hitbox-size-to-weight ratio, and did a rapid jab from offscreen to launch him into the blast zone. The knockback was so low that I had to use the move while offscreen to send him the opposite direction the stage was traveling. Also, Protip: I’m pretty sure cranking up the launch rate in the Advanced section of the Smash ruleset counts as a handicap for the purposes of these challenges.

Solarwolf13 I found out, there are 2 setups he uses 1 is any 4 star main spirit with 3 slots. In the 3 slots u put victini and Great zapfish. Second setup is even better. Late game there is a Medusa spirit if u level it up it will transform. Use the transformd versios it has 2 slots. Put in victini and de Mario sunshine, shine spirit dont know the name But its kinda like a star
The real answer is simply Olimar or Alph plus physical attack spirits. In this version of the game, there was a glitch that caused physical attack buffs to multiply for pikmin attacks. It has since been patched.
4:16 This challenge is really easy to cheese: just set the rules to 10 hp stamina and pick bridge of Eldin with hazards off. Now pick a character that is easy to spike with (like k rool or Dedede) and just keep attempting spikes until the game ends. EZ
The thing is, all of these hard level 9 "Smash" challenges can be done in super sudden death and cheesed really hard. Took me very little time and grief to complete this section.
Some good advice on the level 3 and level 5 cpu 300% handicap challenge: 1. Make a new rule set 2. Time style, 2m 30s 3. Heart container only 4. Items on high 5. Palutena's Temple or New Pork City 6. Pick a character *DURING BATTLE* All you need to do is eat 3 heart containers and then start fighting the opponent. When you get the first kill of the match, just simply run around the stage and avoid the opponent's attacks and then you'll get the reward. Profit. Edit: I just realized that doing 1 stock is faster
Little did alpharad know Rosalina would end up being the best fighter in the cpucs. Unfortunately she died from blood falcon, who took many great fighters.
I tried to be clever and proactive for the "300% handicap vs. Lvl. 5 CPU" challenge. My main is Rosalina (no surprise for those who know me), and because of her improved Gravitational Pull making her automatically use items, I thought setting only healing items on would be useful. As for the Lvl. 5 character and stage, I tried Little Mac and 75m. I figured with the awkward platform placement and the springs being tossed at the top, it would be easy for me to KO him. Unfortunately, the platforms on that stage are closer than I thought, so even someone with weak air game like Mac can get around easily on that stage. Eventually, I just said "Fuck it," and played as Lucario instead, who beat the challenge for me. Thankfully, my original idea did work when I went for the Lvl. 3 version of the challenge. The CPU even got KO'd by one of the aforementioned springs.

For anyone attempting the meteor smash one, I found using Ganon on great bay with smash meter or final smash is the most effective way. If you can get a less mobile character like Little Mac to follow you when you have final smash you can spike them with it easily. I've tried it several times and it works great

You should do a tournament with everyone using the Medusa spirit and Vincent will rein victorious

If you check the bigger map, it'll say which sections of them you've cleared. That somewhat helped me anyway
