You must have flown a real one to know it was there because it was sure hidden well. I am finally having fun flying it after giving up trying to get it on the runway several times because I could not steer it. Like everyone has said, you hit it out of the park with this video. I spent hours and gave up several times on this.
Thank you. Now to figure out how to turn off NWS or does it cancel when airborne.....
You don’t generally need to switch it off but it should be low for takeoff. Airborne it should sort itself out based on weight on wheels sensors. And thanks 👍🏻

You may not be able to help as I’m on Xbox but I’ve lost nose wheel steering in all aircraft. The F18 has needed this method for a while now but all my other payware such as F16, F15 and F35 were all able to steer on taxi/takeoff just using the stick but in the last week it’s changed to only rudder steering and every aircraft has now started pulling sideways massively on take offs and landings. Any idea why it’s all of a sudden changed?
I don’t think there’s been an update in the last week unless you’ve not played for a while? Could it be wind on takeoff?
this a long shot but can i have youe mapping to the warthog, i have the same yoke and thrust but im struggling with mapping things
It’s just mapping what you use most really. I don’t have a downloadable version.

Better to have a key bind depending on your control setup. Are you on Xbox?
@@cgaviator pc with a joystick and separate airbus throttles
@@2511jeremy you can save a custom camera position after repositioning the camera with the numpad. Then you can easily click to view where you need
Or keybind the NWS

OK now how do we make it so every plane can taxi with nose wheel steering like the 747 or exactly every other plane when in reality they have it
Depends on how developers of the aircraft with nose wheel steering have implemented it. Or if they have as sometimes it’s easier not to include it.
brother please help.... i downloaded the a32nx and the nose wheel turns but the airplane wont actually turn...it keeps going straight

I see all comments! 😁 And I have no idea! Double check all your bindings for steering/rudder perhaps. Make sure your steering is working across both ends of the axis?

You can slew. But there ain’t no backing up in these jets! 😁
My control options are different , can't find that setting and can't turn the wheel with the stick , have to use Z and X on the keyboard, annoying, probably a easy fix but I'm not familiar with this stuff
You can bind any button to nose wheel. Take a park in the control assignments and see what’s currently there. You’ll need a rudder axis assigned if you want to turn the nose wheel once it’s engaged.

Every time I press the switch to enable it, it turns right back off
I won’t see if you have a conflicting key bind. Is everything model wise up to date?

If what’s in the video isn’t working, double check what else you may have bound. Maybe there is a conflict? Is your rudder input working?

Sorry for the late reply, was on holiday. I'm not sure why if you have NWS in the HUD. Presume the aircraft moves forward ok and you have the appropriate axis bound to rudder?
