There is only one weapon that can (probably) reliably hit an F35 and luckily it's a NATO system. The IRIS-T has a highly advanced system that has the capability to not only lock onto the IR signature of the engine but can lock onto an aircraft no matter which direction it is fired from, even head-on. Once that thing is locked on it's pretty much game over as the rocket can't be dissuaded by most protective measures and flies at Mach 3 for up to 25km. It's an incredible system that you definitely should check out. P.S.: Funnily enough the IRIS-T is compatible with the F-35 and can even be shot backwards from it, an ability that only the F-35 and Eurofighter Typhoon have with this weapon

I love the F35 but did you know her namesake is the coolest WWII aircraft ever the P-38 Lightning. And did you know its famous tail assembly was created by a young engineer named Kelly Johnson of Lockheed Martin. His group became known as "Skunk Works".
I thought the f-22 raptor was the best fighter jet ever made? The U.S. doesn’t even export them because how advanced and agile they are. I may be mistaken though.
Different approaches. The F-22 is a one-trick pony. It's an air-superiority fighter and it shows. Nothing will beat it in the air. The F-35 is multi-role. A lot better at a variety of things, also much more modern. Just like the F-22 took lessons learned from the F-117 and in part the B-2, the F-35 took lessons learned from all of them. The F-22 also isn't being made anymore, too expensive for what it does.
I'd love to see the SU-57 in Flight Sim. Its potentially the only thing that stands a chance against F35, but it's Russian so probably not seeing that any time soon lolol
It's actually in Microsoft Flight Simulator on sale right now. I bought it a few days ago. It's not super refined but the creator is constantly updating it.
It can take off vertically in real life but it practically never does. It’s designed to do a short takeoff, which is what the “STO” part of “STOVL” stands for
I didnt know the helmet was that advanced. I thought they just had all the display systems and warning signs. I didnt know it had the whole 360 view. thats innovative .
I love seeing how you learning about planes, Canada getting F-35s to replace the aging F 18s. You should try World War II piston fighter planes to fly in msfs, there P-38 P 51 and plus others stock in the marketplace
stealth doesnt mean invisible dude, thats not some retro reflective panel sci-fi avengers movie stuff. it just means less detectible and less visible on the rcs. the gem behind the f35 are the countermeasure and jamming systems. nice jacket btw "pete" xD
After using STVOL on your left screen there’s a mode that says “hover” press that and go up to around 1500 ft and turn hover off. Once done go to 120 speed and turn STVOL off
Something you might ever forgot is that these jets go on aircraft carriers which arre moving as they take off and if you see clips of the taking off on youtube they move with the carier
One of these flew over my house not long ago and very unusual in Australia especially so low.. loam from USA and let me tell you it was loud and bloody beautiful.
Martin you can do vertical take off, after you hit hook/stovl there is a button on the big screen in the f-35 that says hover you hit that and you can take off only straight up and down
That F35 has a LF on the tail which makes it from Luke AFB in Arizona! I am an air traffic controller at Luke and love seeing the F35s and F16s fly everyday!
I didnt realize until now, that the canopy still has that frame in front of you, the f22 has a completely unobstructed view out of the cannopy. I guess it doesnt matter for the f35, because of the special helmut😄✌️
For the fourth I was at destin and our flight landed at the Air Force base and it was sick seeing all of the f35s, they would buzz the beach in the mornings it was awesome
The smoke's the sign that your going to break the sound barrier (wind is flowing fast enough to make the smoke). Also try a prt2 then break the sound barrier with all 3 and try cobra maneuvers as well
Hey Trevor if you want to try the vertical take off and landing you press the Svtol button then press hover on your main screen then pull back on joystick to lift off and push to land
You definitely gotta check out the F-22 Raptor! Thrust Vectoring is so badass and I'd imagine it'd be a blast to fly! Lovin' these jet/aircraft related videos :D
F-22 only has vertical trust vectoring. The NASA X-31 (experimental) had both horizontal and vertical thrust vectoring. I can't wait until that's implemented into a service fight jet 🙃 Check out that plane if you're not familiar with it. It could literally turn on a dime!
I work next to an airforce base , Luke Air Force in Arizona and when those f35 take off … man its amazing and loud , the alarm of the cars in the parking lot is going off 😅
“8G manoeuvre” continues to do a more than 13G manoeuvre that would be almost be a straight up FATAL move considering the time and speed that he suddenly goes straight up with
Do this in DCS, and do a cold and dark start. There is a difference between STOVL (short take off vertical landing and VTOL (vertical take-off and landing)
You’ve all heard of a bear shitting in the woods, what about an alligator in the water? Well so it goes with TMartin buzzing over 15ft above the water…..
My grandparents live right by the blue angels afb in Pensacola, and we see the blues flying in formation and we see ospreys and f35’s flying from Elgin all the time
That’s what was so incredible about the f-16 powerful one jet engine and also the sound is less as well but the f-35 is like the stealth bomber it’s undetectable pretty much they have vertical takeoff as well
Great vídeo, man! Thanks for the content! Just to let you know that there’s a typo in the video title. The plane name is actually missing a “T” (should be F-35 LighTning II). 😉
Where it looks like it’s trying to break the sound barrier. I think what it is is from what I heard is the plane is so advanced and the aerodynamics are very unstable and uses alot of sensor and computers to keep it in the air basically

Yeah I’ve also heard this too, pretty sure they are working on converting the f-22 raptor to have 5th gen capabilities
F-35 has more technology but the f-22 is faster and more agile in the air making it superior
I am a former crew chief on 22s. Only reason why 35s are "better" is because they are newer. But 22s are better. But im probably biased
The F-22 also isn't being made anymore, too expensive for what it does.
for dogfighting yes but overall f-35 is just a lot better. so many capabilities.
The f 22 is by far, the greatest aircraft to serve in my opinion
I'd love to see the SU-57 in Flight Sim. Its potentially the only thing that stands a chance against F35, but it's Russian so probably not seeing that any time soon lolol
It's actually in Microsoft Flight Simulator on sale right now. I bought it a few days ago. It's not super refined but the creator is constantly updating it.

Built the inner and outter wingskins for this jet along with various inner workings! Really cool jet!
The F35B is actually a STOVL jet, standing for short takeoff and landing, not a VTOL jet
It's both, you can VTOL by pressing hover...
2:34 correct Britain has them for the HMS queen Elizabeth
can u pls fly mig-29`?
It can take off vertically in real life but it practically never does. It’s designed to do a short takeoff, which is what the “STO” part of “STOVL” stands for
First
you should try DCS if you want realistic fighter jets.
It has quite a steep learning curve
*Now with the recent economy, To get Financial FREEDOM you
have to be making money while you're asleep.*
I think Trev would enjoy DCS World
I didnt know the helmet was that advanced. I thought they just had all the display systems and warning signs. I didnt know it had the whole 360 view. thats innovative .
When I’m older I %100 becoming part of the RAF. Been a goal for like quite a few months.
I love seeing how you learning about planes, Canada getting F-35s to replace the aging F 18s. You should try World War II piston fighter planes to fly in msfs, there P-38 P 51 and plus others stock in the marketplace
The only thing that they could detect is the sound of how loud theses things are
stealth doesnt mean invisible dude, thats not some retro reflective panel sci-fi avengers movie stuff. it just means less detectible and less visible on the rcs. the gem behind the f35 are the countermeasure and jamming systems. nice jacket btw "pete" xD
"Is this our 'ejecto seato cuz' button?" is one of the best lines you've ever said
After using STVOL on your left screen there’s a mode that says “hover” press that and go up to around 1500 ft and turn hover off. Once done go to 120 speed and turn STVOL off
So funny seeing he’s taking off from Eglin😂 Stationed there for a bit and they were to loud at like 6 am😂

His name is Trevor
That F35 has a LF on the tail which makes it from Luke AFB in Arizona! I am an air traffic controller at Luke and love seeing the F35s and F16s fly everyday!
I didnt realize until now, that the canopy still has that frame in front of you, the f22 has a completely unobstructed view out of the cannopy.
I guess it doesnt matter for the f35, because of the special helmut😄✌️
"ejecto seato cuz button" 😂😂😂 love that sly 2 fast 2 furious quote.
For the fourth I was at destin and our flight landed at the Air Force base and it was sick seeing all of the f35s, they would buzz the beach in the mornings it was awesome
the smoke ACTUALLY WAS GOOD IT MEANS THAT YOU'RE BREAKING THE SOUND BARRIER
Congratulations on 5 million subscribers.
TMarTn2: “The most advance fighter jet in the world”
*Government: Should we tell them yet?*
*SkunkWorks: Nah*
The smoke's the sign that your going to break the sound barrier (wind is flowing fast enough to make the smoke). Also try a prt2 then break the sound barrier with all 3 and try cobra maneuvers as well
This game did the f35s engine a huge disservice. Because watching it spin to face down is so satisfying. In this game it sort of glitches down
trev u shld try going above your house in this game, that would be kinda sic
Hey Trevor if you want to try the vertical take off and landing you press the Svtol button then press hover on your main screen then pull back on joystick to lift off and push to land
It sure looks beautiful and "advanced". Just hope that it can perform as it looks or it will become another blooper like others in the past.
I work at Lockheed on the F35s and love every minute of it
You definitely gotta check out the F-22 Raptor!
I love when Trev makes videos like this
I work next to an airforce base , Luke Air Force in Arizona and when those f35 take off … man its amazing and loud , the alarm of the cars in the parking lot is going off 😅
Bro thought he was smoking when he broke the sound barrier
Dude, keep up the grind, your going down in history to a RUclipsr most dedicated to their fans fr
the jet looks like XXS Tomcat from Rumble Racing!
@23:25 whoa that was a close one!
“8G manoeuvre” continues to do a more than 13G manoeuvre that would be almost be a straight up FATAL move considering the time and speed that he suddenly goes straight up with
Do this in DCS, and do a cold and dark start. There is a difference between STOVL (short take off vertical landing and VTOL (vertical take-off and landing)
epic as always, A loving pet owner in the day but a fierce some pilot at night
You’ve all heard of a bear shitting in the woods, what about an alligator in the water? Well so it goes with TMartin buzzing over 15ft above the water…..
My grandparents live right by the blue angels afb in Pensacola, and we see the blues flying in formation and we see ospreys and f35’s flying from Elgin all the time
I live near Nellis AFB in Vegas and I have seen F35's several time flying over my home its amazing to see
Trev: The F-35 is the most advanced fighter jet ever!
F22 and SU57: Hold our thrust vectoring real quick

7:41 its not smoke its the sound barrier that youre keeping up with as you are faster than the speed of sound
That’s what was so incredible about the f-16 powerful one jet engine and also the sound is less as well but the f-35 is like the stealth bomber it’s undetectable pretty much they have vertical takeoff as well
CONGRATULATIONS FOR 5 MILLION ❤️✨🎉
So I believe it has 2 turbines, one is a thrust vector turbine that helps the jet pull off maneuvers like the F-22. It's little brother at this point
Great vídeo, man! Thanks for the content! Just to let you know that there’s a typo in the video title. The plane name is actually missing a “T” (should be F-35 LighTning II). 😉
Where it looks like it’s trying to break the sound barrier. I think what it is is from what I heard is the plane is so advanced and the aerodynamics are very unstable and uses alot of sensor and computers to keep it in the air basically
homie has no idea what he's talking about but i love his enthusiasm
