So many amazing things!!😍👌🏻 How cute are those little flower appliqué pieces. (Oh that little cottage embroidered piece!! 🤩) And yes I’d say that little overall piece was most likely a peg bag…makes sense. It is too sweet! Maybe it needs to hang on your wall 😉💚💖 Thanks for sharing! Have a lovely day!! ☀️🫶🏻
Such a gorgeous haul Bec and I am nodding lots as you show what you’ve found. And what an incredible gift of love from the two Karens! Have fun stitching. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
@@Sewbecurated there’s never enough time in the day right?! Also…why does it always seem to pass so much faster when doing something you love or you just get in the grove of working on something…and then have to come back to “the real world” 🤦🏻♀️😆🤷🏻♀️
I love the scotty dogs and hankies! ❤ You find such great motifs. Here, in the U.S., i see a lot of the baskets and crinoline ladies. Which i loathe and run away from. I’ve found some great pieces at our garage sales where an older person has passed, sadly.
Amazing hanky haul Bec!! Only $5.00! And there wasn’t a boring one in the bunch either! All of your finds are just lovely! Thank you for always sharing them with us!🥰
@ That would be great! Thank you so much! I am always truly inspired by you! I love vintage textiles! I keep waiting for a gosling quilt bundle to come back into stock. I am currently working on the Orla quilt, using vintage linens and fabrics along with the Orla bundle I purchased from your online shop! Many blessings for the continued growth and success of your business! 🫶🏻
Hi Bec. Greetings from NZ. I was about to turn RUclips off and go to bed when i saw this video from you. Had to watch it of course! I just thought I would comment on that cute little bag that you think might be a peg bag. I remember my Mum telling me many years ago. that bags like this were used for keeping nylon stockings in and they were hooked over a coat hanger and hung up in the wardrobe. I imagine they had many uses and were probably also used as peg bags. I look forward to seeing what other viewers suggest. Love your channel - thanks for making great videos that inspire us all to make lovely things. Kind regards.
@@silver_csmith Yes, they were made in an era where things were multi use and so folk just used them for storing all sorts of things. These days we just go out and buy yet another plastic storage box!🙂
Reap what you sow comes to mind for me. The most giving shop owner I have ever met.
Jenny that is so kind. Thank you - I feel very lucky to have you in my stitch life.
Thank you for sharing these gorgeous fabrics❤
Just marvellous!! Tfs, Bec ❤
I can't watch any more - love love love - I wouldn't love cutting these
What a super duper haul - I feel your joy 🩷🩷🩷

We get lots of Crinoline ladies too I just don't love them so much so tend to leave them for others.
Agree with Dale for hanging on coat hanger. Love your finds thanks for sharing
Interesting seems to be a split between peg bag / stocking bag!

Thanks Vanessa - such lovely hankies!!
What a great collection of goodies. Look forward to seeing what you create. It’s so exciting when you find something special.
It really is!
Lovely finds and gifts! Definitely a peg bag. I would love to see how you cut up a large doily and use it in your quilting?!?🌺
I'll do a video of the Gosling Quilt soon so I can share.
