Just added this. My fans go absolutely nuts until I enable Hen then they quiet down. I went ahead and did the normal fan like you said and it’s not going nuts. Best modder out there by far!!!
I have a PS3 super slim, and i needed that especially for the fan speed change, 25% minimum speed automatic controlled by Webman Mod, even with default 68C temperature setting, sure help for better temperatures for me! I didn't liked the console reaching around 70C. I tried 80% for fun, and wow that's loud AND makes a lot of vibrations too! I would recommend Dynamic Auto with 25-30% minimum for most people. the PS3's "syscon" fan setting start at 20%, and doesn't seem to ramp up much even when getting very hot, so i'm glad i changed to Webman Mod's Auto default settings at least.
My PS3 is also super slim, and after setting the fan to 70% now my PS3 is very slow and I can't even disable webman because it takes ages to start, has this happened to anyone?

FOR PEOPLE IN THE FUTURE. If your Folders do not show up PLACE one of your ps3 iso's on the root and reput the ntfs-mbr-usb back into the ps3 and it will finnaly read the folders with all the other games. at this point you can put the iso back into your PS3ISO folder...
If you want hen to launch perfectly immediately turn internet off in settings plug usb into right side of the pa3 and unplug any controllers that are plugged in
I have a problem mine is saying every time I hold down l1 then press x to download the full version or even do the lite version It keeps saying an error occurred during the start operation and then it gives me the code ( 8001003A)

@@isaacvampful No. Just constantly black screened when trying to install. I even reinstalled HEN with no luck. I think the issue was HEN though because I also had problems with multiman loading the same black screen randomly. I'm trying a different program instead of HEN.

I recently reinstalled webman because I rebuilt the database on my ps3 (regretting now) and webman stopped working, but now after reinstalling, my coldboot sound and background are now randomized and it’s very annoying. Any help would be great i don’t want to reset my console
I done this and my ps3 started heating up fast as the fans slowed down. I clicked auto at 68, saved and the fans speed up and cooled down my console and was quiet again. Be careful to tinker with fan settings. The fan is what cools these things. Mess with it and not pay attention, could be bad.

If your talking about the fan noise going up after installing webman, it manually sets your fan speed higher

Doesn't work for me at all, after trying the L1 full install it just reboots me back to the XMB where I have to reactivate HEN

if i wanted to keep the heat under control, are the processors on the ps3 the same as in a pc where they shouldnt exceed like 90-100°C?
keep them below 80c as an absolute max, 60-65c is ideal
I wouldnt want mine reaching 70c let alone going past it.
