Curious what the red magic 7r has for us. As I love gaming on my phones I also work 40-60 hrs a week and my job gets a bit dusty as a package truck driver going down dirt roads and such. So I prefer adding a cooling device to back over a fully vented phone

Asus take one hour plus to charge whereas Lenovo only takes 30mins and that's my phone in my hand doing it. 4. Even with SD 888+ it scores 844,000 on Antutu whereas Lenovo with original SD888 scored 840,000. 5. Asus requires external cooler whereas Lenovo has built-in cooler. And the list goes on and on and on. The only gaming phone which works the way gamers want is Lenovo Legion Duel 2.

Finally, I am using this phone for 8months now and I have never experienced thermal throttling or heating issues. I checked all other gaming phones in person and I can confidently say Lenovo is the closest to an ideal gaming phone landmark.

I really want a gaming phone but these companies are making it impossible for me to buy one since i want expandable storage. I totally understand their reasoning for not including it but thats very anti-consumer tbh, i wanna be able to download movies, games, take pictures & videos without worrying about running out of storage or the need to be constantly deleting files.
Just want to point out that the 7 pro has a more effective cooling (about 2-3 degrees cooler) compared to the vanilla version thanks to it's upgraded cooling system and aluminum back. The aluminum backplate dissipates heat better than the glass, even though the vanilla version has an additional intake.

What I think of a selfie cam? I used mine maybe 10 times over 5 years? I honestly wish someone made a phone completely without it for people like me who never use them. I have the red magic 7 obsidian only $629 ☺️.....but to be honest the best phone to buy is pulsar version you get the most bang for your buck going with that one it has just the right amount of ram and storage.... If the power draw remains reasonable, then we should have a phone that's more future proof- the performance overhead should help keep it relevant even after a few years.

Red Magic is a huge liability as it's not water resistant - if you need to repair it because of that, you'll have to pay more than its original cost (!). They don't have physical stores or local support which means any repair will be done abroad (with shipping costs being charged to you), and any peripherals you want to buy will also come with a shipment surplus, so it's just a money sucking machine. Just to give you an idea, my RM 6 pro (top specs) lightly touched some water which got into the charging port (so it's not like it was submerged) and because that's not covered by the warranty I had to send it abroad for repair. They said all data in there is lost (an sd card slot would have been useful here) and they are asking for roughly 120% its original price to repair it. Obviously I'm not paying that to repair a phone that is no longer their latest generation. I'd be paying more than double for a soon-to-be obsolete device with not even any emotional attachment since all data is gone. Gaming phones are a huge risk because they're not water resistant, but Red Magic really takes the cake. Any suggestions on a high-end cool smartphone I can use for gaming that's water resistant and has good customer support?

It is because the company needs to invest too much into cameras and they risk to sell just as much as how they do now cuz they are not well known as other companies. companies as samsung or apple on other hand they already selling a lot, unless these gaming phones are a threat to their business, is not worth the effort

@@azwads5126 I agree that the 8100 is better overall with its stability and lower power draw, but I'm kinda curious to see what the d9000 can do with a gaming tune and active cooling. If the power draw remains reasonable, then we should have a phone that's more future proof- the performance overhead should help keep it relevant even after a few years.

Red Magic is a huge liability as it's not water resistant - if you need to repair it because of that, you'll have to pay more than its original cost (!). They don't have physical stores or local support which means any repair will be done abroad (with shipping costs being charged to you), and any peripherals you want to buy will also come with a shipment surplus, so it's just a money sucking machine. Just to give you an idea, my RM 6 pro (top specs) lightly touched some water which got into the charging port (so it's not like it was submerged) and because that's not covered by the warranty I had to send it abroad for repair. They said all data in there is lost (an sd card slot would have been useful here) and they are asking for roughly 120% its original price to repair it. Obviously I'm not paying that to repair a phone that is no longer their latest generation. I'd be paying more than double for a soon-to-be obsolete device with not even any emotional attachment since all data is gone. Gaming phones are a huge risk because they're not water resistant, but Red Magic really takes the cake. Any suggestions on a high-end cool smartphone I can use for gaming that's water resistant and has good customer support?

@@syedmehmoodulhassan7175 but legion duel 2 is old. Have a snap 888. Yes the pop up selfie cam was good but face unlock delay. I have Xiaomi redmi k20 pro which have pop up selfie cam in left side of top. And old also mean killer software update would come in future.
