The full screen display is such an eye candy considering that this is a gaming phone. 😍
I have the red magic 6 right now. It has been the best so far. Compared to owning both razer phones. I love all the features and doing hardcore gaming on it is great. Triggers are a game changer
How is the software in your opinion?
@@icedcoffeecapricorn bro phones from China seriously need like proper updates. The UI is good everything works nice and fast specially with the 165hz but I keep it at 120. Gaming UI works really good too. Being able to message and screen record and use all the functions right away is great. My current issue, I'm not sure why. The phone will randomly reset itself quite often now. So I hope it gets patched out. Overall I have been super happy with this phone.

@@leanabratkov3135 I don't even play that game lol. I did play cod and it's a solid 90hz since that's the cap on it. I'm sure fortnite would run about the same. It ran that way on my razer phone 2.
I bought my last 2 phones based on gaming, no stereo speakers is a deal breaker.
And if ur a serious gamer. You definitely need headphones at all times. Lol
I'm changing now from a Asus rog phone 3 to the Nubia 7 pro.....i will miss the audio compartment of the rog, it was just superlative

Are you able to turn off the RGB to save battery life?
Yes you can turn off the RGB... I can't even see it while gaming , kinda useless lol
Asus ROG 5s is a bit better than this.

I've never bought a dedicated gaming phone but I'm thinking that I'm going to get this one just because I want a phone that can preform well in any situation and how it can handle games and not lag as well.
Just buy a good non gaming phone that has similar price. The performance will be almost or the same if you don't play any heavy game.
Plus, you will have better features such as camera, etc...
Nice it has a headphone jack!!! I can use my Sennheiser 58x while playing without worrying about a bluetooth amp/dac or whatever!
For some reason, I thought the smol hole next to the earphone jack (which I'll never stop fighting for) was an IR blaster hehe

Listen, you youngins always got something to complain about. As on old head who's still hip to the new tech I still use analog wires to rip samples at a certain frequency because I get a better over all mix with that natural sound.

Because games became shit on mobile, ten years ago we had PS1 reboot like GTA Max Payne, good games like virtual tennis etc, now it's full of p2ws.
It's been some time since I haven't played on mobile but I'm pretty sure Asphalt isn't that better than 10 years ago

I think an important feature that no one is speaking about is the vibration. Is the vibration powerful and can actually be heard? I am use to old phones where when on vibration I can still find it. These new phones sucks at that and I miss calls. Can you actually hear and feel the vibrations if in your pockets or on a table?

Do you have any recommendations for gaming earbuds? I've been using my 2nd gen airpods for the time being but would like to see if gaming earbuds are really worth it.
Tin T2 or the moondrop aria for 50-75 bucks best sound imho under 100 bucks for earbuds T2 for serious gaming aria for fun experience sound

I was always worried about the dust going into the fan and phone with red magic, so I got an Asus ROG phone 2, and after 4 years it just shut down on me, overheated I guess, so I’m not getting ASUS phone again, it’s red magic or black shark for me.
Would love a Fold version of this phone. I like having bigger screen real estate for watching videos and playing games.

I personally didn’t see the need for a gaming phone. If it’s for mobile games, almost any device nowadays can handle it. To me just get an iPad with better performance or any other tablet with similar performance. I do appreciate the engineering to get a cooling system in such a small form factor, though. And looking at the comments section with a bunch of emulators out there and the potential, I’m starting to see its appeal.
Been bouncing around the idea of buying a emulator for handheld play but they aren’t that powerful and feel cheap. Was considering a PSvita or getting a backbone controller for my iPhone but a gaming phone sounds like a good option as a handheld console
