To be honest the Asus ROG 5s replaced my S21 ultra which overheated quite a bit. The Asus ROG 5s phone barely gets warms even when gaming hard on it. Plus Has the ESS DAC which use my moondrop S8 IEM's and literally the best speakers I heard on any phone. Just don't get the Tencent version as not supported in US due to missing LTE and 5g bands and have charging issues where Charging IC shorts if flash to WW firmware as I did the first one and fix and sold it and got the US version I have been using for a few months and zero issues. It much faster then the Samsung by a long shot and doesn't overheat. I had weather that been 90 degrees and no overheating. The Samsung would overheat and start to lag quite a bit just browsing the Internet, or social media and not even pushing it hard. I wish they just put OIS in camera's and ip68 water resistant and would be close to perfect.
I only have the normal black version and its still awesome, as a gamer I must say: the 2 internal fans are absolutely the most overlooked feature, it actually makes hours long gaming sessions possible without freezes or framerate drops which are typical for even the most high end phones

I'll go with an advanced gaming PC over any Mac. Mac's froze on me and even stuttered while gaming PCs never did any of that.
I've been noticing that today's phones have so much graphics capability that even mid-range phones can deliver gaming at the level of Playstation 3 or 4. It's crazy.

Why most RUclipsrs don't mention the fact that it has bypass charging which allows the battery to basically turn off when you're plugged in which saves battery health
Red Magic is a huge liability as it's not water resistant - if you need to repair it because of that, you'll have to pay more than its original cost (!). They don't have physical stores or local support which means any repair will be done abroad (with shipping costs being charged to you), and any peripherals you want to buy will also come with a shipment surplus, so it's just a money sucking machine. Just to give you an idea, my RM 6 pro (top specs) lightly touched some water which got into the charging port (so it's not like it was submerged) and because that's not covered by the warranty I had to send it abroad for repair. They said all data in there is lost (an sd card slot would have been useful here) and they are asking for roughly 120% its original price to repair it. Obviously I'm not paying that to repair a phone that is no longer their latest generation. I'd be paying more than double for a soon-to-be obsolete device with not even any emotional attachment since all data is gone. Gaming phones are a huge risk because they're not water resistant, but Red Magic really takes the cake. Any suggestions on a high-end cool smartphone I can use for gaming that's water resistant and has good customer support?
I fail to grasp why main-stream companies "cannot" include the headphone jack port when phones such as these have no issue. With that added feature, plus fast CPU, high storage, fast charging with big batteries I just do not get the appeal of iPhone and other top brands
Why do you think wireless headphones/earphones exist? Because they know the rich sheeps that buy those phones will also spend more on their wireless products.

The only thing I hate about this phone is you only have a controller mount on one side! If you can mount the controller on both sides it would feel more like a PSP or Vita.

Actually it is for waterproofing the phone from the water because it led straight to the chip and battery. :)
