I bought an owned the 6. I highly advise against purchasing RedMagic devices. You are paying only for hardware specs, their software is absolutely riddled with bugs, and a lack of updates. Just search online for their OS and dive in yourself.
Cooling fan aside, the Red Magic really deserves a thumbs up for its gaming optimization. It is very rare to see a phone with no-cap fps in all the tested games.
I bought red magic 6 pro and it was great to start, only 5 months later it started messing up. it would reboot for no reason, and heat up. It did it quite a few times. Finally it rebooted and came on and went black. I could hear people message or call me but the screen stayed black and just wouldn't respond . Eventually I did the old trick of holding all buttons down and sticking the charger in at the same time for 5 seconds till a menu popped up and ask if I wanted to reboot in safe mode. I did that and the phone was fine to begin with but then a week later the thing would every now and then reboot for no reason or just go off. I ended up selling it second-hand for half the price and still a warranty on it because I just didn't need the hassle. Nubia needs to get their shit together before they start losing customers on a mass scale because I'm am truly disappointed. So much hype and speed and power yet it just died in my hands. And to think I used to show it off to my friends and colleagues about its super fast charging 120hz refresh rate etc. I'll pass on all Nubia products from now on and I really urge you to do the same if you don't want to end up selling a brand new phone for half the price.

For the first time ever they've put the earphone jack on the correct side. As much as I was aware of, the previous version had the port on the top left side which means if you wanted to press the side touch buttons, your left palm would cover the port.
Redmagic gaming phones always better than Rog series gaming phones in my opinion. The cooling system is far superior than any other gaming phones specially with that inbuilt fan.

I would say the biggest weaknesses of redmagic are the poorer software optimisation (nova launcher is not fully compatible with it) and the lack of cases to buy in the market. Camera is obviously not the best as well. But it has done a great job of being my phone for almsot 2 years.

Like I wanted gesture navigation with my nova launcher and they said they patched it for the past 2 years already, each time not actually working. Only good patched that allowed me to notice so far is spotify showing up in notifications to control your music there. Security patches seems to work fine since my phone is still uncompromised.

Software and security would be a big question, I'd say safely 3 years for zte to provide then the last two years you are on ur own finding kernels on XDA. For me the redmagic 5 was a 2 year phone for me. I do find phones getting super pricey and am now considering just playing flagships of previous years as the way to go now for affordable phones
I think the k50 gaming is better than this comparing the price. But k50g had 1080p 30 fps in ultra wide. But my k20 pro have 1080p 60fps and 4k 30fps in ultrawide. In the end, you really just need to have a real good active cooling system to have the full measure of high-end processors. The minimum for a gaming smartphone is 5000 mAh, the ideal being 6000. If gaming smartphone makers thought to put in decent cameras they would sell so many more.
Naw I bought the redmagic6 just to play no need for high quality cameras on it lol this phone just on WiFi my daily cell is enough plus the air vents would eventually get messed up with pocket lent so I just have it on desk basically like a console lol
