I don't suggest using any type of prong collar, it can cause their windpipe to collapse or in some cases cause the windpipe to deform.

Can I ask where do you suggest looking for Great Danes that are for sale. I don’t even know where to start.
Just be careful of puppy scams and use your best judgement, if you want to learn some red flags just look up some youtube videos about it! How I found Halle though, since I knew I wanted a local breeder.. I just went to facebook and searched things like "pnw great danes", "washington great danes" etc. I joined a few pages, made sure they had lots of followers/likes/engagement (good sign of a legit business) and actually filled out a couple applications for waitlists for puppies, but I just got lucky and one of the breeders had a puppy available, which was halle! The deposit was due to hold her for us, but I felt good about it because the breeder went live once a week to update on the puppies growth, etc since we couldnt come see the puppy due to covid. Anyway, that was a lot. Just use good judgement and maybe search on FB for some pages like I did!

Shepard's are great Especially German shepherds!! I use to have one and She was an Amazing dog!!!
Yesss both great dogs! Great Danes are super goofy and actually pretty laid back and low maintenance besides their size, but we love them! Shepherds are beautiful too!
