I'm loving your videos. I have my first Great Dane and finding it a little harder teaching my puppy. I work with him every day in the morning to learn basic commands. Thanks for your videos. Loving them.

@@drnot442 His name is Peanut. He's black with a little patch of white on his chest. I followed your video and kept him exercised yesterday and total improvement. He was pooped last night. Hubby noticed the changed too.

I had my first puppy shortly after moving from Dubai - so I called her Wahad (one). She was a "Boston" .. now called "mantle".
The second, I adopted as a 2-year-old with a lovely name: Moonshine. She was a brindle.
We fostered Macy, another adult, faune.
Our last one, Buddy, was a mantle; and we chose Buddy in case he ever got away. Why? Because most people, when meeting a dog, will say "hey buddy" ...

hello, my Great Dane will be available for pickup December 6th, the mom only had 2puppies this litter and they are jumbo size, im so excited to get my doggo. I was thinking A'massi or A'massy I work for Maserati and Ferrari so I was trying to think of a name that would suite our lifestyle. I appreciate all the tips I can't wait to start properly leading my Great Dane. Im taking notes while watching your videos!

I have a 12 week year old great dane. Ive had him since he was 9 weeks. Ive tried this method and it seems to work with treats. But once treats are taken away, or we are outside he does not respond. Does this breed generally take longer to learn things like this or could it be i need to up the frequency of my training.

You could up the frequency but also gradually work up to taking treats away, rewarding less often and slowly adding distractions

How do I teach my dane puppy not to play after eating?

My recommendation would be to crate him for 15-30 minutes right after he eats! He'll learn the routine after a while and be used to napping after eating. Worked so well with my babies!
