We Organize our Homeschool Room with Workboxes

- Want to take a peak at where another family "does" homeschool. Here is our space including a look at how we use workboxes to organize our homeschool.

I only homeschool one child, but if I homeschooled multiples I would have to use the workbox system. Your's is one of my favorite workbox system videos. I really like the double sided workbox system you have. I would think that type would be great for preschool / kindergarten ages because of their larger school items.
I use a thick plastic folder system where I place all the day's worksheets, paper & notes for each day of the upcoming week. I put Math & Science on one side and Language Arts & History on the other side. I place all the papers inside according to the general order of importance so the most important assignments are placed at the front and things that could be put off to another day (if we ran out of time) is placed toward the back. Also, for reading assignments I place a mini post-it note with "Read pages..." onto a book marker and place that inside the folder, as well.
I had screwed a plastic file folder holder (the kind that used to be on the outside of business office doors or like the ones on doctor offices' doors) onto the outside (left side) of my old wooden teacher's desk, so I can grab them quickly and easily. When we're done with one day's paperwork/worksheet, I can easily grab the next day's folder and insert the next day's lessons worksheets. This idea was based up the workbox system. I hope to make a video of it one day.

enjoyed this - I homeschooled my son and taught school too - now teach farming online and lifeskills so these are wonderful ideas!

Our Home Our Haven You know ours is a box I found at a garage sale. I fill it with cool erasersc stickers, pencils, hot wheel cars, and other misc. stuff that they can get for different things like a great day at school or meeting a personal goal. Thanks for stopping by & subscribing =)
