Hey guys! Today on my channel we are reacting to some entitled karens caught on camera getting what they deserve! Entitled people posts are some of my favorites to react to on this channel, and I wouldn't be able to do the entitled topic justice unless I jumped on the entitled Karen bandwagon. Enjoy :)

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I crack a joke or two. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

I have a mustard allergy and ordered takeout once and told the cashier three times to make sure they did not put mustard on my food and they did anyway. I had to take it back obviously and asked nicely I might add for it to be remade and the cashier and the manager seriously told me to stop being a karen and a little mustard was not going to kill me lol They clearly have no clue how food allergies work. I became a real karen and called corporate and they were both fired. I regret nothing.
Food allergies are no joke. You never really know until you unfortunately know that it is a matter of life or death.
@@TikiStanford Exactly and corporate found out very quickly how big of a deal it was when I told them their employees wiped some of the mustard off thinking I wouldn't notice and gave it to me anyway. If I hadn't checked it first and took a bite it could have ended very badly for me. They handled it the same day I filed the complaint and they watched the exchange on their cameras that were inside the store.
...okay, as someone who used to work in catering and was required to memorise allergens and watch videos demonstrating how to work an epi-pen in case a customer is unable...this is fucking *infuriating*.
I'm glad they got fired. With that kind of attitude it would only be a matter of time before they killed someone.
I am a strong believer in there is a time, place a reason to be a Karen in a good way. You checked all those boxes. You are not in the same category of Karen as these crazy people in the video.
but why take yourself so seriously though? just acknowledge THEY don't take your allergy seriously, throw the faulty food at them or the floor, walk out and never come back, why get them fired? that's a bit excessive...
My heart hurts for those poor kids who have to witness their mothers behaving that way.
my heart hurts for nice women named Karen.
yeah, I think that his face should be blured out. He doesn't deserved the embarrassment. He is a child and as we know his peers could be ruthless.

Uhg, I was thinking the same thing. Poor kiddos.
Thank you, as the child of a Karen this means a lot x
I miss the days of actually being a manager. I was a Karen's worst nightmare. My employees loved calling me over to deal with them. I would calmly listen to the Karen rant for exactly 5 minutes. At that time my cell phone timer would beep. At that point if the Karen was a full on Karen with me, I don't even say 'excuse me' I just pull out the phone and start calling the cops, so I can have them trespassed off the property. The look on their face as they realize your calling the cops on them without playing their game is priceless.
My favorite thing to do after ordering delivery, take out or eat in, is to ask for the manager. Then complementing the employees I dealt with, service and food! Everyone should do this! It's up to us Non-Karens to reverse the negative cosmic balance! It only takes a moment to pass on a positive comment, that will last for a long time as a positive experience for those who serve us!
Use their strategy to defeat them, absolutely brilliant.
you actually can't have them trespassed until you tell them to leave.. that's literally written in the law.
Jealous. My manager would throw us to the wolves. Must be nice for people to be able to rely on your manager.
@@Poopoopeepee6969 they probably just left that detail out for ease of writing.. also i am pretty sure it depends on state, country, ect.
My aunt Karen, who passed away in her early forties, was truly the sweetest woman in the world. She'd be appalled at the trouble her namesakes have been causing in recent years.
She was the one keeping the equilibrium. After you lost her, the universe became unbalanced.
I know 3 women named Karen and they’re all awesome people.
I have a cousin Karen that is super sweet too. I don’t think she’d complain even if she had a good reason to.

"she's glowing in the sun. Glistening." He says, majestically. That made my day. That man is a legend.
Yes ! I loved that part too 😂😂
That sounded lovely.

I had a Karen moment a few years ago. I was shopping and once done shopping I walk to the front and it was during a shift change.
So many registers were empty and people waiting. I visually scanned the entire checkout lines all empty.
Far to my left I could see an older woman(customer) maybe 48-55 guarding 5 registers as her own so she can be the first to check out her items.
She turned her back to me to guard the other 3 registers.
A very silent employee walked up and signed in and started scanning in my stuff.
The moment the beeping from scanning took place Karen turned around and started yelling - GET OFF MY REGISTER!!!!!!!
I turn to look at her. At this time 10% of my stuff is scanned in. I just look at her.
Karen. I am calling the manager she yelled out.
When she finished yelling I then smiled.
At my smile she then yelled: I AM CALLING THE POLICE!
I had such a big grin. Amazing enough police arrived within 2 minutes.
Karen begins to the cop and store manager and once the officer realized he was dealing with a Karen he crossed his arms and put one finger to his temple.
Manager walked up to me and smiled and said: Have a nice day sir come back again.
As I walk out and pass Karen she then points to me - THAT'S HIM THAT'S HIM!
I held in laughing so hard until I sat in my car.
How could one single person guard so many registers at one time? Did she spread all her stuff all over the place?
The Karen taking that person's mail... that's shits a FEDERAL CRIME. It's a felony to open or destroy mail that's not yours. It's called obstruction of correspondence. I hope that person went to the cops after.
Yes, it was a parody. 🎭
@CrazyCat Lady ahh okay. Good to know lol
@CrazyCat Lady lmao! True.

The worst part is none of these people ever think they're wrong or take accountability for their behaviour. It will always be someone else's fault. 😒
Yep, like that woman who stopped the entire performance. Hundreds of people basically telling her she was wrong & she doubled down & wanted the police. Even when the police finally escorted her off, I’m sure she thought she was in the right.
these women have some balls that's for sure. I would be embarrassed if 200 people were like "take her home!" especially if they didn't even really have a legitimate complaint or issue. these women just want attention and it's too bad they have to ruin it for everybody else. although it is funny as hell.
I have seen a very few where their mistake is pointed out to them, and they may not admit their wrong, but they do leave usually in a walk of shame. Some run away. I have seen one where they actually apologized.
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 i know!!! It’s delusional behavior 😡😡
A few years ago I was at a Subway. An older man and his wife were in line in front of me ordering sandwiches. He was being very vague with his order and the girl making the sandwich was getting confused. I felt really bad for her. Then the man said to her, "You're not really very good at your job, are you?" I was so taken aback and shocked that he would say something like that, I didn't say anything. In hindsight, I should have. No one should speak to someone like that. Then I saw them get into their car as they were leaving, and their license plate frame said all I needed to know: "Faculty, UC Berkeley." 'Nuff said.
Last month I was a burger place in Denmark, and old guy was SCREAMING at the staff that he wanted a cheese burger, and that the bun should be toasted twice. And this girl who was clearly on her very first day, did the sales steps she was taught to go through, and he just railed at her. I got so mad I stepped in and told him to calm the fuck down.
i literally cringed.
Love watching a manager stands up for their employees.
I like it when managers come out and tell the Karen “I would appreciate it if you actually don’t come back, you’ll be doing us a favor“ lol
Right? I’m not sure where people thought they can always act how they want, and well, ok. Come back soon!
Yes!! More managers like that, please!!!
'Firing' a customer is always the last option, but an insanely satisfying one
👏👏🤣
I've said it on more than one occasion. I had a lady walk in throw a bag of food, which had half of it missing and said this isn't right and those employees are stupid idiots. I said well have a good day, she said I didn't call you stupid! I want a refund! I said no. She yelled she would leave a bad review, call the corporate office and that next time she came in I better be fired. I looked up her customer information and told her no problem, do what you need to do but she won't be back because she is now banned. She said that she would just wait right there then and not leave. I said ok, it should take the cops like 5 minutes to get here anyway. She looked shocked but decided to leave as her husband yelled and flipped is off as they left the parking lot.
@@mikescott8903 The entitlement of these customers, though. They think they're all toffs, it's hilarious!

Call the manager of the sidewalk!!! That may be the funniest thing I have heard outside of my sister's ramblings while coming out of anesthetic. Well done, Charlotte.
I remember 10 years ago getting a knock on the door and it was the police, they said they got a complaint about a wild party happening at my house...It was just my boyfriend and I quietly watching TV. 😅 They were just as confused as us, there didn't seem to be any parties anywhere on the block. Never found out who called the cops
Only complaints we have are the occasional door to door solicitors. When I'm home age they come around, at least four different families form a phone chain to warn each other. Then we call my 89 year old grandmother to warn her. That's what neighbors should do. They shouldn't be public nuisances.
@@PittsburghGal85 same here, we have a text group and i just tell everyone who's ringing bells. :)
That happened to me too. I had people over and the cops came said they were called because people were outside partying and being loud. They were confused why they were called as no one was outside and it wasn’t loud at all. We were so confused. My friend and I were the only ones who had gone outside to get something out of her car. We saw someone sitting in a car looking at us. As we walked up they drove off, w/e brushed it off. I found out later it was my ex’s gf. I lived on a dead end street and she would drive by all the time. Apparently she came to throw a rock through my window but saw I had people over and thought she would get beat up if she did so she called the cops instead. lol do you have an ex that has a crazy partner. Could’ve been them hahaha
Im a manager at Victoria’s Secret. I had to argue with a grown ass woman about not allowing her to return her USED dirty underwear that had stains in them. Thankfully she told me we “lost her business.” Thank god 🙂
*vomits uncontrollably*
That’s so freaking disgusting!!! Omg!!!!
God bless your heart for having to deal with that I would’ve been like no one wants your shitty underwear so disgusting 🤢
When I was a teenager I worked at a local walmart. A woman brought back one of those multi packs of panties she bought monthes prior they had all been worn but the CS took them back. Every cashier in the store that day was so disgusted. It was a long time ago and I dont know what the return policy is now but maybe just dont return used undies. Its gross AF. Thats not just a Karen it is a trash Karen.
Aww that's so gross and disgusting
I felt soooo bad for that little girl outside with the manager yelling at the woman cause she's shaking her hands and clearly panicking. I've had my mom act like this in public when I was a minor and it's so gut wrenching and you are completely helpless against their insanity.
That's what I thought. It makes you wonder how she is treated at home.
Yes the woman was in the wrong. Accidents happen, people make mistakes, if there wasn't enough meat and they said they would fix it that should have been the end of it but she had to be obnoxious and try to not pay for her drinks 100% in the wrong but so is the manager. Fat/body shaming her is 1000% never okay. And he did it multiple times in front of a child which can cause the child to 1) have body dysmorphia/ body image issues herself because that has an impact and 2) think it's ok to shame, make fun of, bully and treat people badly because their body shape is different than her's.
My mom is very kind woman but isn't very patient. Sometimes she feels like she'll be taken advantage of. So this causes some quasi-Karen behavior.
I had a good boss at a store I worked at. Literally, "I have work to do in the back and I really need to get it done. You don't need to call me out here for every complaining customer. Just tell them no and get rid of them if they're wrong."
You haven't felt satisfaction until a Karen asks for the manager, and you get to tell her no. Half the time it just completely breaks their mind and leaves them stunned.
I worked in restaurants for many years so I've seen so many Karens and Kens. My favorite Karen getting owned was mad at a fellow bartender that extra liquor in her drink cost extra (a common occurrence). She asked for the manager and my coworker told her sure and walked away. The bar was a long horseshoe shape with a center island, so you could walk around the inside like an oval. My coworker circled the bar to face the Karen again and said I'm the manager. Karen gave up and the look on her face was priceless. I had to go in the back to laugh my bum off!
As a child of a "Karen", I feel for that young boy. It's rough as hell and I am so thankful I was a child in the late 90's/early 2000's before recording psychotic public behavior was the norm. I stopped going places with my mother several years ago and she now wonders why I never want to go anywhere with her
this exacly. I DREAD this happening to me, and I already have social anxiety. if this happened, I would probably just walk out crying
I used to stay behind in restaurants if I was with my mother so I could apologize for her behavior. I started that at about 11 years old. When I got older, I always made sure I had some money to leave an extra tip with my apology. Kids shouldn’t have to deal with that.

I KNOW THAT ONE!! Oh i love that so much!
I feel like the woman asking him to put on a mask wasn’t a Karen. Like it probably legit looked like part of his face from a distance. It seems like the same people thinking she was a Karen for calling him out is the same ones calling those who refuses to wear masks Karen. In short you’re a Karen for asking someone to put on a mask AND you’re a Karen if you’re not wearing one, there’s no winning with the internet
I agree I even feel like she laughed it off at the end
I mean, if you are an idiot and buy this sort of prank mask, expect people to think you are not wearing a mask. And if it is mandated to wear one, people asking you to wear one is just social pressure.
I really think not all the Karens in the Karen-videos are in the wrong, people just getting called out and put the videos up for revenge.
Well tbh it's not her business or place to worry about others or tell them what to do. I never wore a mask, not a single time and was repeatedly called horrible names and cussed out and even assaulted in front of my kids (who also didn't wear masks). They often DID go to the store managers who told them to mind their own business and if they didn't like it, they could leave. 🤷🏼♀️
@@bann5777 I had one. She was way to close (like right behind me) so I told her she needed to back up. She told me I needed to wear a mask (wasn’t even mandated at that time). Pissed me off. Unless it’s a worker at that store and that store has a mask mandate, it’s no one’s concern if someone else wears one or not.
Yes, she was a karen. Anybody who insisted on others to wear a mask was a karen. Don’t forget there were suppose to be medical exceptions.
I once had a Karen for a neighbor (complained about noises, smells, loud breathing, etc.) She was really annoying and I felt like I was walking on eggshells in my own home. But around Christmas, I decided to kill her with kindness. I baked a "motherland"-creme cake and offered it to her along with a Christmas gift (a small ornament). It practically brought tears to her eyes and to this day, she remains a really close friend, she even watched our kids when hubby and I were going on dates. When we moved she was really sad to see us go, but we remain in contact as much as possible...
Sometimes all Karen’s need are a little bit of love. Something similar happened with my mom and Karen when I was kid. My mom killed her with kindness and the Karen fell in love with her and they became close friends, the Karen was so loyal and loving after that.
I think it’s really easy for loneliness to turn into bitterness, and sometimes we all just need a hug and a cake.
That lady saying “you are so rude” made me supremely uncomfortable. I get those customers every once in a while where no matter how chipper I am, they seem to act like I’m scooping cat litter into their mouths.
I was legit humming whilst slicing a guy’s bread today (after being rejected for trying to give him a fresher loaf of the same variety I had just sliced to save him some time) & he requested someone else to serve him, said I was rude, and said I didn’t seem like I wanted to be there…. While I was literally humming Ode to Joy…
Like, I was in a good mood but you literally went out of your way to put me on the defensive and make me feel like shit.
I have an employee that whistles a lot. Once he was whistling a similarly pleasant song while taking care of a guest and she obnoxiously whistled back and snapped "whistling on my damn face!" he was literally walking away to slice her bread when she said that. Literally no one said anything because, well, what do you say to the person who makes exhaustive efforts to be angry while everyone else was in a good mood?
It’s a common tactic and mentality with these people
Life hasn’t gone the way they want, they are bitter and resentful…they cannot cope with other people being positive, so they go out of their way to drag others into the same negative space they occupy
“If I can’t be happy then no one should be”
It's a pleasure to interact with people who enjoy their jobs. I hope your regulars appreciate you. ❤
I hated being a cashier at Dollar Tree for the amount of customers like this. One of the worst I can remember was the woman who cussed me out because I have a celtic tri knot in green tattooed on my wrist. She called me every name in the book, told me I was a sinful woman for being tattooed and that my sons must be ashamed to have me as their mother and demanded my manager fire me being a demonic Satanist. One tattoo, an inch wide, set her off like I'd insulted her ancestors. My manager ended up making her leave, with the help of an older guy in the line behind her.
Anyone notice that she was buying only alcohol but "hates coming to the store?" It could be a coincidence but it could also be that she has a drinking problem.
My heart went out to that kid when he tried telling his mum they'd end up on the internet
Poor guy. I only hope he doesn't have to experience embarrassments like that often.
I’d just like to say, my mom was named Karen and she would be horrified at this trend of calling unbearable women “Karen’s” lmao. My mom was a very sweet lady and would *never* ask for the manager 😂
One of the sweetest, kindest people I know is named Karen. I've not heard her even express frustration over the usage of Karen.
I have a friend named Karen and she is the sweetest person ever
Literally my second day working my first job, I accidentally messed up giving this woman her change back (I was literally only off one dollar) and she was being an a-hole about it. When my friend/coworker helped me figure it out my friend said, “We’re so sorry ma’am, this is her second day and she’s still being trained.” And the woman just shoved the dollar into her wallet and replied, “well that’s not my problem.”
Never wanted to punch an old woman in my life more than in the moment.
I love seeing a manager have their employees back. It warms my cold, frozen, dark heart.

The one time my dad and I were a “Karen” was when we went to a McDonalds to order our food, and in English mind you, and the lady literally told us she doesn’t understand our language. I though, okay no prob my dad has a thick accent and I don’t. She still continued to tell us she can’t understand our language and that she only spoke English. She told us she can’t serve us of all things because she doesn’t trust people like us. My dad has dark skin and my skin is-somewhat white. We just wanted our McDonalds. So we marched in there and demanded the manager only for the manager to tell us the goddamn same thing. He said he can’t understand us and we needed to leave. My English is pretty good. If people do catch an accent, it’s very slight. We realized what was happening and that the establishment only had white people being served, so I’m sure this wasn’t the only time. We went straight to corporate and told them about these people and they were immediately fired. Since then, the establishment has had actual people of color and I haven’t had a problem since.
Still, it’s kind of embarrassing that I had a Karen moment. In hind sight, we might have overreacted
That's not being a Karen, that's racial discrimination bringing the correct reprimands to said employees
You were absolutely in your rights and it's not being a Karen, when all you wanted was to be served like any other customer. Being a Karen is being unreasonable and throwing a tantrum over something stupid. Good for you and your dad for standing up for yourself, these a**holes deserved to be fired!
Demanding justice and respect is never overreacting!
No. I have a huge problem with accents and truly struggle with understanding people with thick Indian and Asian accents. I feel awful when I have to keep asking them to repeat. Your reaction was correct. These people didn't misunderstand you, they just were racist. If they truly had a problem hearing you it would be a completely different conversation. Don't be ashamed for standing up for dark skinned people. You guys are forced to take so much shit from racists. Cut that crap forcibly if you must. You don't deserve this treatment.
You did the right thing!!!! Don't doubt yourself hon, you saved others from having the same experience
One thing I love about these videos is that Karen behavior is no longer going unnoticed. It’s becoming more acceptable to stand up to these bullies, especially as retail workers.
Yup! I worked in customer service for years, part of it retail. The nicer u are to us, the ncer we are to YOU! Let's all value peace n kindness!
I’m an assistant manager in a grocery store and I just had my first write up in 6 years of employment. Lady tried to say our bagger hit her car with shopping carts. I just apologized-genuinely and sincerely, because at the time I didn’t know the full story. As I got more info, I realized she was lying because the way she said it happened would have been literally impossible. She literally was like, “You’re sorry? That’s all I get?” Like, I didn’t even do what you’re alleging, lady! Anyway, I regretfully informed her we were not liable as it was in the parking lot, which is no longer part of our property. She became WILDLY aggressive and confrontational. I held up my hands as if to surrender and informed her I was going to get the store manager. She kept nagging at me and following me. Bruh, I SNAPPED. I turned and said “I’m going to get the effing manager, just chill for a minute!” She called me rude (I admit I lost my temper so sure, I’ll own that) and threatened to get my fired. I snapped again. “Good, I hope you do! I hate this GD place!”
Spoiler alert: I was not fired. I was not even demoted. No regrets. And I am 100% looking for another job because retail has gotten so much more toxic since the pandemic began. People have gotten more demanding, more hostile, and quicker to anger.
I loathe people who "get people fired" because they're angry over some trivial matter. That's their LIVING. Only a true scummy shitbag would want that.
I agree with you, customer service jobs and retail especially has become so so toxic. I was fired from a customer service job I held for 2 years and 5 months. I never had a write up, meeting, conversation, etc about my behavior. Just fired after a mediocre customer service incident, which was: a customer asked to borrow my phone for 10 seconds (context, I didn’t have a cell phone for 5 months and spent that time saving money for a new one-it was a small business so my bosses knew this), and I said yes. I stayed with him while he used my phone to record something, and this other customer saw this interaction and thought I was making a video with a friend at work, and that I was being unprofessional. She reported me, and I was fired. I was one of 3 people on staff who had keys to the store, and one of the 4 that had been there longer than a year. I hate to say that it’s made me bitter but I’m freakin bitter. I need a new job but absolutely will not do another retail job, where I get minimum wage, no benefits (dental/medical), have passive aggressive bosses who do not properly manage their staff, am constantly working short staffed weekend days, and get tossed aside over basically nothing. Personally I would rather have a meeting to work on improving behaviors, than terminating their employment and replacing them. Oh get this-they still haven’t replaced me, because most of the people they’ve interviewed have said that they’re asking way too much for a minimum wage job.
Agreed working in a hospital kitchen is my best job I've ever had, I work a a VA hospital and got bennifits and paid vacation and sick leave.
Healthcare if you're not a provider is hell now as well. I've had patients in the pandemic literally blame me they threw their piss-filled urine containers on the ground and that it spilled everywhere. Had patients also get upset I wouldn't torture their fainted children to get bloodwork done, and even had some threaten their kids in front of me like I didn't just hear them call their child a waste of space or something they shouldn't have ever given birth to.
*God I hate people.*

I worked with a woman named Karen, she was the sweetest most laid back person... I think of her often because of this phase of using her name as an insult our society is going through and I feel bad for her. She's the type of person who would be hurt by this but smile and pretend she wasn't... 😢

If parking lot Karen really waits for the police to arrive, she is more likely to get arrested for unlawful confinement than whatever it is she wants to the police to do. Also, this is the moment when that boy starts questioning his mother's perspective on the world. Parenting is about to get a lot harder for parking lot Karen.
Pretty sure that was all acted out. Wasn't an actual Karen
"She's glowing in the sun.... glistening."
Yeah you need to run, she's summoning her full Karen POWAHHHHH!
those street arts/ shows are literally the best thing ever - i was blessed to come across a few while traveling and they were so talented and funny and fun to look at - i feel sorry for this woman, her inability of enjoying something like that means she has a very bad life.
I feel so bad for the boy whose mother called security for someone parking over the line!!! OMG.
and the parking lot was completely empty!! i mean c'mon
@@Mercedes.666 that's kinda what makes me feel like that was staged. I mean it was completely empty, as if those stores weren't even open yet. I don't know - I do believe that would happen but at the same time so freakin many people stage shit like that just for likes and views.
@@xtinaatx1748 Yes and the one with the woman stealing the mail also seemed staged. Maybe the people who filmed it experienced something like this before.
Considering there were no other cars parked there, in the entire lot, either.

"I'm a- I've been a military wife for twenty years!" Had me rolling
I lived in a 2nd story apartment and just a month after moving in we got a noise complaint saying we were running up/down the stairs and partying on our balcony. We both worked full time, went to bed pretty early and never had more than 3 people over. I'm almost positive it was the weird neighbors that lived under us who were constantly fighting and once one of them even threw a potted plant at the other right next to my car. For the entire rest of the year that we lived there I had a minor panic attack anytime the office stuck papers on our door always thinking it was another complaint lol.
I moved into a 2nd story apartment with 8 apartments in the building...and lived there for 4yrs without a complaint of any kind. Suddenly I the complex manger was sending me letters and calling me because a hyper-sensitive woman moved in next door. I went to the office to discuss this whereupon the manger says this same woman was a problem the last time she lived in the complex...but "there's nothing I can do about it". Once I went over to talk with the woman, upon opening the door I saw her kid sitting directly in front of the TV on the floor about three feet from it. I was unable to hear the TV at all from the door about 12 feet away. Thankfully once the year's lease was up they moved out.
I got some petty "revenge" later because they apparently lived close by as they would come and dump their garbage in the apartment bins. I reported this to the manager and she thanked me profusely saying she would be happily sending a letter to the woman to stop. I got the impression it was as much petty revenge as it was for her.
That parking lot was entirely empty and she was calling the cops 😆
She is so angry that someone didn’t park properly and couldn’t continue her day as the self-appointed neighborhood police 😡😡🤬
Lol! She needs a life. I would’ve understood if the parking lot was full and the car was taking two spots but the PARKING LOT IS EMPTY!
but he was outside the lines - that should be at least 20 years behind bars - who does he think he is ! 🤣🤣🤣
I can’t help thinking she should have been offered a referral to a therapist. Obviously something is very sad in her life.
Does anybody know what she was doing at the end? Was there a part 2 or something?
I just can't help but wonder if she herself is such a good driver. Driving and parking a car is not easy, and yes you can mess it up a bit sometimes. I can't believe that she never did a driving mistake in her life. Or better, maybe that she doesn't even have her license 😂
The last lady just made me sad, when my Nana was in her mid 90's and struggling with alzheimer's she would sneak out to yell at people. . . the 'what are you about' made me think of it but our neighbors knew so she couldn't get far.
Yeah I was wondering the same
@@moniquedamphousse9682 Same. I was deeply concerned about her, she did not seem well. I actually think that the guys instead of making fun of her and making videos should show some empathy towards her.

Yeah that last one was just the younger generation proving how disrespectful they could be. I totally felt bad for that older lady.
i was thinking the same that could be dementia so sad
Dinner party noise complaint...lol, they were deliberately eavesdropping and were offended that they weren't invited and you were having too much fun without them 😂😂😂
I re-watched this and still find it hilarious!! I appreciate that you told people to thank those in customer service! ( you are right, we don't get paid enough)
These people are exactly why companies can't find workers now. It's not people don't want to work. ..it's retail workers are tired of entitled Karens
Also the pay is not worth for getting shouted at all day long haha
Pretty much. I used to work in customer service doing returns for TJ Maxx years ago. Never again. It isn't MY fault you don't have a receipt or we can't return your crap. Your angry banter doesn't equate to my minimum wage. 😤
No, thats not the main reason. Its because the government is paying people to stay home. In some cases more money than what they were making at their job. There are tons of people who found ways to get fired so they could get the bumped up unemployment. Ive talked to multiple employers who have experienced this over the last year and half. Not that customere cant be annoying or demanding of course.
@@e.starling141 that seems to depend on the country but yeah you can find annoying customers all around the globe
That's why I stopped working retail, I was sick of Karen's before they were even called Karen
I'm so happy the Street performing Karen was escorted away, she probably thought the cops would take her side too.
I love the donut story too, be careful what you ask for because you might really get it
Why did she even stand there? Often I think I would like to hear what has triggered then in the first place.
It was in New Orleans and apparently she thought these performers were taking "action" away from artists that were selling their wares nearby.
@@icequeen917 I'm only guessing she was new to the street fair scene and was one of the "artists" that wasn't selling much and thought it was their fault somehow. I kinda want see what they were doing now, it must have been good for a crowd like that to gather

@@icequeen917 Lol, that's crazy, if people want your goods, they'll get them. If anything this group attracts customers to the area.
I feel so sorry for the little girl in the clip around the 8 minutes and 30 seconds mark. She's witnessing a bunch of people older than her shout and swear at each other over what I assume was an honest mistake blown way out of proportions by the Karen in the situation. I hope there she receives better guidance than the woman she was with, because this is how Karen's are made. They're children who witness Karen's in action and learn from their behaviors.
Working at an upscale hotel in the 90's. I had a Karen unplug the DJ's wedding music. She was a late hotel guest that was told the only room available was over the ballroom & a wedding party was happening. Of course the minute she went to her room she complained about the music. I explained that was our only room. After her calling down a number of times, I offered to get her a room up the street, on us. No, the music should stop so she can sleep. She lost it about 10:30 pm & unplugged the DJ's music. Mother of the bride was not happy. I go to the ballroom & see two old ladies in a tussle. One dressed up, one not. Sooooo funny! People wanted to stop them, I said, "in 2 minutes they will be huffing & puffing & will be done.". I wasn't going to part them, both had claws. . Called the police & got the Karen another room up the street. The police were as AWESOME as the bridal group. AITA for still laughing? Hey, most weddings are boring, this will be one to be remembered. To the mother of the bride, you go woman! ❤PEACE:-)!
I feel bad for people who have to listen a Karen screaming. Like everyone is just minding their own business and then some lady starts screaming.
Like imagine if you're a worker, or a parent to a baby who had just fallen asleep. Why u gotta start acting up, you're just embarrassing yourself.
Man, I felt bad for the one where the “Karen” had a kid and he was begging her to stop and calm down. Poor kiddo. 😬
Same. How much embarrassment do you want your child to suffer? I felt for the kid with the mom who didn't pay for the drinks too.
That one seemed very staged
He feels ashames for sure
I agree, I don't support that video being posted on the video at all. I get why the guys posted it, but it's obviously going to be way more hurtful for the child than the "Karen".
I believe he will grow up becoming a Karen expert.
I can’t handle the adult arguing and ignoring the children that they’re traumatizing.
Airport Karen is an all time classic!
Feel sorry for the kids of Karens, like they are just pulled into the chaos and their parents aren't letting them up to breathe
You can guarantee that poor young boy will NEVER be a male Karen! He will be the complete opposite 🤣
@@KDu400 Unfortunately a lot of Karens are narcissistic people, so he's probably going to have a lot of trauma from situations like this.
@@barneypaodoce She likely thinks she's showing her kid how to stand up for himself.

People, when you are confronted with a Karen like this, don't argue, don't ask, just get on the phone and call the police. Don't just threaten to, do it.
She's on your video and if she tries to leave, follow her while continually videoing her and saying "What? Didn't you want the police to come? Why are you leaving? Are you afraid of being caught in your Karen outburst?
Those kids are the ones who grow up to swear out NCOs on their parents. The one in the clip doesn't seem to have come down with Karenitis, and hopefully, he never will. Stay strong, Kid!
On behalf of all retail employees everywhere, I'd like to thank the academy for giving us the word Karen, so we dont get fired for another, similar-starting word that could get us fired
Yes as restaurant staff I agree 😆
Yes!!!
Whenever I go shopping if it looks like whom ever is working the check out that I'm at is having a bad day I will always try to get them to laugh as a way to try and cheer them up sometimes it works and sometimes it don't but when it doesn't work they always admit that they appreciate the effort
To this day that kid has never forgiven or spoken to his mother again. Poor fella. I hope I never embarrass my kids like that
And that's exactly why I'm scared of buying a house. imagine you find your dream home, everything seems to be perfect, and then you find that beyond your garden fence a Karen lurks in the shadows of her own self-righteousness. Then I'd rather pay rent!
I have a house, all my neighbors were nice people when we bought, but after a year, the sweet elderly couple living next door sold the house, the man sadly died of cancer and his widow was not able to keep the house to herself. We were so anxious to find out who would buy it, but we were lucky they are actually freakin awesome people. My other next door neighbor just lived the same situation and is planning on selling soon, and the anxiety of finding out who will be my next neighbor is real. I hope they don't suck T__T
I've lived in the same neighborhood my entire life. Houses here rarely go up for sale and when they do they're bought in a flash. Low crime, school buses, etc. The most exciting thing to happen is three neighbors all doing giant renos art the same time. Heck even the neighbor on the other side of my grandma will do her leaves when we can't get to them. I kinda long for a Karen sometimes 🤣
Sometimes I feel bad for some "Karens" because you can tell like maybe they're having a mental breakdown moment, but all of these women went looking for this trouble. It's unbelievable how some people feel that so much is owed to them. It's a hard pill to swallow when you are growing up and realize you aren't the main character in everyone else's lives as well.
"No Karen you can't talk to the Manager". Perfect for a Karen's Headstone LOL.
"If you don't subscribe, I'm calling the manager of RUclips!" Exhibit A of why we love you! Hahaha!
When we were kids my little sister came home upset because some “Karen” in the building next door kept yelling at her and her friends to stop playing on the lawn that was 1) not the woman’s property and 2) designated for the kids to play in. So our mom went over, very cheerfully asked the woman if she lives there, does she keep an eye out on the place, does she happen to know anything about someone harassing the children? Because we’re needing to file a report and would love her assistance in stopping whoever it was from harassing small children on the playground (emphasized the word HARRASSMENT as that is a legal charge). “Karen” obviously had no further information to offer and my sister never had problems again 😂
VERY smart!
Well done!
That is absolutely brilliant!
Can we just praise Charlottes editor? Like WOW!

"YOU NEED TO MISS LIKE A WHOLE WEEK OF MEALS" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m a counter-Karen and it pays off in many ways. Last week my daughter and I went Xmas shopping and realized too late that we wouldn’t be able to leave until after dinner time because I parked in a lot that closed for the annual lights parade that night (the lot is in the side of the parade route) so we went to eat. The restaurant wasn’t too busy but was running out of stuff because they had early crowds. Some of the things we tried to order weren’t available. I could see the employee look at me like I would start to get mad but I didn’t. We ended up ordering two very yummy items and were happy. As we were finishing not one but two employees swung by our table and gave us free desserts and a free app to take home because of our patience. These kind of things happen to me a lot. My daughter is always commenting on all the free things I get. Karma, baby. Karma.
Umm......that didn't happen LOL!
Good stuff. I always remain polite and friendly, even if there's a long wait these days and even if there's a mistake or something, I never switch up unless it's warranted, which is almost never. I can tell so easily that employees appreciate this so much because they're used to customers with attitude. I think especially the young ones who are still learning how to handle sh*theads.
@@yashgupta21 - you'd be surprised. My parents and I were dining out one time, and it was a similar situation of the restaurant being out of stuff. We didn't raise a fuss, just laughed about it. After we tried to order a couple desserts only to find out the first was done and the second someone else had just ordered the last one, the manager came by to apologize. We said don't worry about, things happen, and he comped our meal. Good businesses appreciate customers who aren't dicks. Doesn't happen every time, and we don't expect it to, but as OP said - Karma, baby. Karma.
I was actually an "anti-Karen" all my life and I'm trying to be more assertive as it got me more in the situations where people walked all over me because I was too accommodating rather then just people being grateful for someone non-confrontational. So maybe not to the Karen level of ridiculousness but yeah I'm trying to be more Up in your face...
@@yashgupta21 yes, it did. Things like this happen all the time to me because I treat people like I would want to be treated. My kids always laugh at all the free things or good luck which comes my way while out and about.

I had a Karen upset because a cop gave her a ticket for parking illegally in a handicap spot. I was the supervisor, so I went out to take the complaint, and when she told me it was clear she was wrong so I told her that I wasn't voiding it. "I want to speak to (deputy chief's first name here)!" I mean, ok... I go in and find him, he comes out and she starts talking to him like they were buddies. His response was simply "Just pay it," then he walked away lol

This is gonna sound like an “everybody clapped” moment, but one time I was getting my aunt a Christmas present at Sees Candy, and I was the only one there when one of the employees got a migraine and went to take a break in the back room, leaving only one girl at the register. Due to unfortunate timing, like five more people came in right then and went towards the line. So I grabbed what I came for and hopped into the back of the line to wait. I guess it was taking too long, because the Karen in front of me started complaining loudly about how “this is disgraceful service” and “it’s the holidays, people are in a rush”. Now the employees had been very sweet to me, so I turned to the Karen (I think I was like 19 at the time) and said “One of the employees had to take a break, and so the cashier is trying her best to serve everyone. No one else is complaining about standing in the line, but if you don’t like it, you can always go somewhere else and come back later when no one else is here.” That shut her right up. When I got to the register and handed the girl the gift card which was my only purchase, she gave me an extra free sample for sticking up for her. It felt really nice.
