Yeah, bad parenting aside, I don't get the general point...
I mean, Netflix is rather unexpensive (in my country the monthly cost is pretty much the same of, say, a big box of condoms 😇)... if you can afford 4 kids, you should also be able to afford a cheap streaming service...
And if you can't, you can always download some classic animation for free 🤷♀️

Having kids on remote learning is NOT the same as homeschooling. I appreciate all the teachers that have been working so hard to help our students succeed. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just adore the battle tactics of such people: Children are bargaining chips, Religion is a qualifier, Having more money means you deserve more for free, When all else fails, blackmail, play the victim, and wish the most horrible fate.
Such hideous people are not allowed in my circle of friends.

Yep, we dont deserve a damn thing and God and no one else on this earth owes a single thing.
Except for when I told my husband he deserves a new (to him) truck? He has been driving a beat up old 1993 GMC Sierra helf ton for years... We got inheritance and I told him to buy himself a truck. It took a ton of convincing, but he FINALLY caved! He just bought himself a 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax. Every time I see him get in it to go to work, I smile and I love seeing him finally have the truck of his dreams!
The Disney+ thing made me laugh. We’ve spent $20k plus at Disney World. Our kids were an excuse to keep going....

Trust me, Charlotte, entitled people with kids think they are second only to Jesus in their sacrifices.
The crazy part is she has 3 children to entertain and to entertain each other but someone who is totally alone has no one to interact with or play a board game with. Sounds like she just resents her kids.
@@mera8785 Everyone I know with kids complains about them non-stop. They will usually throw in a disclaimer of "I love them but..." But most of the time it's all about how miserable they are. I chose not to have kids and frankly, I'm glad I did.

@@Lyko5 There’s only so much preparing you can do. The rest is literally a curveball that comes out of nowhere and hits you in the face. There are tons of scenarios that can happen in a single day that you never thought of until it happens. Not counting being constantly exhausted so you aren’t always fully aware. All you can do is prepare to your best, pray, and cover the most obvious dangers.
Not sure but I think they were Called Soccer Moms before Karen took hold.

I can only assume the lady was freaking out because she had some sort of "important event" that she had to look perfect for. Rather than throwing a tantrum and threatening the hair stylist, she would have had better luck being nice. Express concern, offer wishes for good health, ask if anyone else has room before "x" date because its important.
Yeah, that was messed up. The end of her childish and cruel message really made my blood boil.

Some of these really hit home for me. We have isolated since this started and people (mostly family and close friends) have been less than stellar to us for it. Both my boyfriend and I have compromised immune systems. Now almost all my close friends in town have or are testing positive. I feel awful for them honestly but....

My parents always helped me with homework. They said "Sit down and do your homework or you won't get dinner".
Not me. My mom is a nurse and every night she would get home around 9-9:30 and review homework. She was always moody when she came back, so it was like:
Mom: did you finish?
Me: I need help
Mom: get the belt, let's see how long it takes you to figure it out

Totally got that. I started going to extra help and free tutor sessions offered by the school, helped my grades and you learn better without getting beaten
Virtual school and home schooling are completely different things. Virtual school still has the teachers preparing lessons for the curriculum SET BY THE STATE. Homeschooling is the parents do EVERYTHING. Rant over lol
Plus you have to pay for a approved curriculum and all the supplies, or at least the people I know who had to switch from school districts that didn't offer virtual class showed me.
I was homeschooled 1-7th grade. Parents had to pay every year for my course books and such, had to plan the actual activities and day to day assignments. Everything i had to do was written out by my mom, questions had to go to her or my dad.
From what I see of virtual learning, the extent of parents involvement is (or at least should be) getting the kid up and ready for class, starting the computer/making sure the kid is starting their meeting properly, then just leave them alone to learn. The teachers are still teaching. The kids should still be learning the same (though i know they all arent) and the kids should be doing all their own work/homework (again, they all aren't, a lot of parents doing stuff for the kids and complaining they aren't learning)
Honestly, it's all a huge mess. The school systems actions after covid, I mean. I had a coworker who would give updates about her child's school. It was usually different at least once a week for masks/no masks, virtual or not, which days they were going to physically go to school... they still hadn't decided a week before school started and changed drastically 3-4 days before
Yeah...I think if you homeschool your kids for their whole education (like my mom did with me) and you have to pay for all the books and materials yourself then you should get compensated. People can get a stipend for being a conservator/advocate for an adult (which my mom also had to do for my grandpa. Although she chose not to accept any money for it cuz she's a good person). So I don't think it'd be the end of the world for parents to get paid for being a full time teacher to their kids. Especially since the tax dollars you put toward public schooling wouldn't benefit your own child if you chose homeschool. But online schooling is MUCH different. And it was temporary with the pandemic. Those parents need to chill and just suck it up. XD
Yeah, as a parent of twins who did virtual learning for half of kindergarten and all of first grade, it is not the same as homeschooling. Their teacher provided the entire curriculum. The district provided resources (books, websites, etc). When you homeschool the parent has to plan and organize everything. Now don't get me wrong it is very hard, but the most difficult thing is I had to lose my income to stay home with my children. And many families could not lose an income without it causing real financial hardship.
My sister home schools her kids. I admire her so much! I could never do it! They pay for everything and where we live there are a lot of homeschooling so they all get together all the time to do things and go on field trips. My nieces are also big into 4H. They are busy all the time going places and doing things! My sister works hard to teach her kids! It’s not easy to homeschool your children!
First one reminds me of the Disney World Karen that said “families only, no single people or couples allowed”.

Yes. That mom was _insanely_ jealous of those single people and resented them so much. I’d hate living that way. She portrayed it as “for her son”, but it was ultimately about how much her life sucks and how those “selfish” childless people don’t have to be stressed about everything.
She’s definitely in the Karen subset of breeder, the Karens that pop out children that they resent, worship and release into the wild for society to handle. Breeder-Karens are the gatekeepers of exhaustion and amusement parks, both of which are morally reserved for mothers exclusively.

My husband and I went to Disney for our 4 year anniversary without our daughter. Our daughter is 3, she’s not gonna enjoy shit or be able to get on any of the big rides anyway, these assholes are just looking for things to complain about. It’s probably the reason why Freud deducted everything to penis. I think Karens have “I had more children than I could be physically and psychological capable of having, so my sex life took a hit” syndrome.
Homeschooling was rough but it made me appreciate the teachers and all their hard work, and yes Charlotte, that is what us “normal” (ie, non Karen) Mum’s do, you’re so right 😂
Heaven forbid I must teach my own child things and not just stick them in front of streaming services, that should of course, be free for me and my children 🤦🏼♀️ haha x

I once had an altercation with an entitled Karen who blocked me and several people by parking on the exit of a car park. I waited for her beside her car, took a photo of her and her car. She came out of a building threatening me saying that I was making a fuss over 2 minutes and that she was a member of the place that owned the car park (It's a coop for farmers) I told her I didn't give a crap, the security guy had to come out to restrain her from getting violent against me, I went into the office of the coop and talked to the manager (she's a friend of the family) and apologised for the fight and showed her the pics and told her about the fight, she told me the lady was not a member and that she had no idea who she was but was going to keep an eye out for her. Next day she tried to pull the same move, they towed her car and she was vetoed from the coop, she got her license revoked and her husband sold her car to pay the fines....

I think it might be that they believe they are contributing to society more than single people, or childless couples. Personally I believe they are more of a drain and are contributing to the decline of our worlds sustainability, but hey that's just me. I have a child, but she was an accident, doesn't mean I love her less, just that the condom broke. lol We used to leave our kids in the forest if there wasn't enough food, now they are more important than our own lives. This is because we live in the land of plenty, if it was like the old days again, children would be expendale once more and are in some countries. They are a luxury in the developed world, not a right as too many here believe. When it all crashes and it won't be much longer, those people will realize their entitlement, but it will be too late. ........ Wow that was dark and depressing. And in other news........ :D

It made a huge difference for us. At certain times of the day our service would kick us off, and we couldn’t get back on for a while.

I’m a parent and as a mother; it’s my job and quite frankly my desire to teach my son everything he needs to know. Being a parent is an amazing honor and i definitely don’t feel entitled to money for teaching my child and making sure he’s prepared for life. Like, really?

I was not only blessed with my son but I wanted him more than I’ve ever wanted anything in life! And the day he was born, I wanted nothing more than to raise him to be a good man, to love and support him, and teach him everything he needs to know to function in the world. That’s what parents do! That’s what we’re MADE for! So, how someone could be so selfish and so entitled just really irks all of my nerves! No one forced them to be parents, so therefore it’s no one else’s responsibility to teach and raise that child. If someone relies on the world and others to be the only teachers for their child, then I feel sorry for that child. Children deserve better! Sorry, long reply but it’s just something I’m passionate about lol. But, again, thank you! ☺️

The lady who thinks parents should be paid to stay home with their kids because she doesn’t want to be a parent really pissed me off. My best friend is a parent of 6 school aged children and an infant. She also teaches non vocal kids with special needs. She had to make 7 tactile binders (that were at least 6 inches in thickness) for her kids to be able to learn from home. She does 2 hours of live zoom classes for her students and 2 hours of pre-recorded classes. On top of that, she spends at least 2 hours with her 3 younger kids and an hour with her 3 older kids, every week day helping them with their school work. All while caring for a 10 month old. Her husband was laid off because of covid, so she is the primary financial support for a family of 9 and I’ve not heard her complain once.
Shout out to all the good Karens out there! Karen, Caren, Karin... keep it up! ✌️
One of our jobs as parents is to help supplement our children's education. You shouldn't have kids if you're not prepared to do the work.

👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 besides, if they really want the teacher’s paycheck, they will have to prepare lessons materials, assignments, check those assignments, and grade not only their kid(s) but the whole class. I love it when ppl say teachers have had it easy during this pandemic 🙄 if only they knew the effort it takes to prepare a class and follow through with everything else you need to do at school, and then have to shift your entire plan from one day to the next because you have to quarantine but classes have to keep on being taught.
No argument here, but then again, I homeschooled all three of my kids.
I agree Joseph, but please keep parents in mind that lost their jobs or didn't get paid because of their kids not being able to go to school or kindergarten. They should have gotten some sort of help.
@@nickisuhl and there are places to apply for that help. You don't just demand things of people. We all decided to have children It doesn't happen by accident. You can't trip and fall. My whole childhood I had to go to the food bank but now as an adult; I made sure that my children have never been homeless and they've never had to go to a food bank. It's not like I haven't had ups and downs being medically retired from the army was devastating but I figured it out. Life happens it's up to us as parents to figure it out. If you don't think you're capable of it don't have kids it's not like this world isn't overpopulated as is.
You could NEVER become one as you have the power of potatoes protecting you! Plus, you're just too nice of a person. And I feel sorry for people named Karen who are nice.
That costco one totally happens all the time. I work retail and I can't even count how many times someone gave the store a bad review for something that had literally nothing to do with an employee or was something that didn't even happen to or affect them in any way.
Like you know covid means even with stores open companies don't rush to put tons of clothing in the store because there aren't as many people out shopping to buy them. But to the people who think the world revolves around them this means stores need a one star review because "There's so little choice in here it looks like the store is closing". Give me a break.

I was an employee of a restaurant and had to leave my job in March because they didn’t have proper safety measures in place and I didn’t feel safe. I am fortunate enough to live at home still, but part of the reason I did so while working through college was so that I could save up as much as possible and pay off my student loans sooner. I am not someone who absolutely *needs* the money for like food and stuff, so I didn’t file for it, even though it would be a great help and I would be making more money from that than I did from my job. I am still unemployed and I get to watch the money I had spent all that time and hard work saving slowly get depleted to pay car insurance and car payments and other bills as if it was all for nothing, and at the start of the year, student loan payments are starting to be due. I also know several people who are now struggling because they felt that there are other people who need the money more than them and so also decided not to file for unemployment. Seeing things like the woman who claimed 80-90% of the applications were from people who “don’t need/deserve it” is insulting, because I have had to make sacrifices and take on a significant amount of stress so that people like her can have the money
I'm a parent AND I am going to college. We all study and do tests/quizzes/reading together:).
The problem in some cases is that even if you divorce "Karen", she's still your sister.

I had to quit my job
My son has special needs, started to fail school and got severely depressed. He needed me to regulate his school work. It is difficult for children with disabilitied because of the change but the teachers do the work prepping for class. It is truly a team effort.
I had an entitled Karen encounter. I work at a hot springs/hotel. She insisted that when she called that she was told the hot pools are open 24 hours. We have never been open 24 hrs and nobody would ever tell her that. We close at 11pm every night to drain and clean the pools then open again at 6am. She was staying in the motel for two nights and wanted a refund for both nights because she swears someone told her the pools were open all night. We refunded her the second night and told her she had to leave at 11am after the first night. She caused a huge scene to were we had to call the sheriff to get her to go to her room. She was also drunk and we don’t allow people to have alcohol out by the pools because it always causes a problem.
My grandfather passed away just a few hours ago. Thank you for today's video. It brought a smile to my face.

The problem some parents (including me) had was that we lost our jobs or our hours got cut because we had to stay home with our kids for virtual learning. My schedule changed & I work weekends now, but I did lose about $800.00 from having to stay home for virtual school.
That was so sweet and thoughtful of those teens that started the delivery service. I can't believe someone had the audacity to say they'd be impressed if the teens also paid for the groceries.
1) They are TEENS. You think they could afford that? Are you gonna pitch in? What volunteer work have you done?
2) They aren't getting paid for this. It's from the kindness of their heart. They could be working a paying job, but chose to spend their time doing something selfless for others.
3) They could be out causing trouble, or doing literally anything else, instead. They seem like really great kids.

Thanks to these Karen videos. I wonder if I’ve ever been a Karyn. I know I’ve had Karyn little moments in the past which I’m completely embarrassed about. And I’m glad that Karen has been exposed because they’re bullies and humans deserve kindness, We all need to check ourselves before we wreck our selves in any situation with an interaction with another human being or animal.
PS why are people so prejudice against single people I don’t understand we’re just trying to do the best we can.
Doing home school was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. No where near the same as homework. It was horrible for us.

My granddaughters were in my home for virtual learning the entire pandemic ! My daughter and her husband are essential workers, it was rough on the kids but we muddled through !

Actually the Karen meme goes back a couple of centuries. Karens aren't popping up more, we're just catching more of them in the act, thanks to camera phones. Here's an article about Karens and what they used to be called. www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_(pejorative). Scroll down to Legislation. The CAREN Act was recently passed in California. There's a petition to have it introduced to Canada too. Sweden has such a law. Over there, you can be fined and even face jail time for abusing their emergency line.

Helping with Homework & home - schooling are Way different. Not only is it an all day pain in the ass But I worry that my child is gonna fall behind because I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I worry about them suffering cuz I am not a good teacher.

Yesterday 2 woman broke out into a fight over cat food. Some stores are now massless now only if you can prove that the customers have there shots. A lady came in just to buy cat food and she had her shot record.and another lady went off on her. For over 30 minutes they screamed bloody murder! I had to tell one lady to stay on one side of the store for at least 30 minutes while the other lady gets her cat food on the other side. Before they went to there separate sides of the store they screamed a cus word at each other and waved there fist at each other. Sometimes the drama between old people is better than tv🤣
