I was yelled at by a judge once. Several months into the beginning of the pandemic I joined a Zoom hearing that was open to the public on a community issue I care about. They had the chat open, so I was asking questions and sharing opinions with the other chatroom audience members. The judge was pissed. I was specifically called out as he lambasted the chat for interrupting court proceedings. None of us had any indication that the chat was off-limits and was being monitored by the judge. I typed something like, "You guys should probably turn off the chat, then if you didn't want opinions from the public. You know you can do that, right?" It was pretty clear no one had trained any members of the court on how Zoom works. They didn't even know how to throw me out, so I saw myself out 😂😂
That’s at least an understandable case - it’s not like these cases where you are in person, and then mouth off “well if you didn’t want us to talk, why did you let people in?”
5:23 That case was about a girl driving under the influence and she killed someone, a father and a husband. While his daughter was reading a speech about the harm that losing her father had done to her, the mother of the defendant and her stepdad were LAUGHING AT HER!!!!

I wish the woman (the mother of the accused) would have gotten more than 1 day in jail for laughing. And yes they did bring her in and give them jail time for their actions in courts. 1day. I think it should have been more!!
Thanks for the context. The voiceover said the drunk driver girl appeared devastated, but she didn’t, she was pulling quite a sly face to show she thought she was acting really convincingly, which ruined the act anyway.

3 things: 1. Lots of things in court are super funny. Sometimes you’ll have the whole room laughing over stuff, even the judge. A victim impact statement is not that time. 2. They almost never hold to the long ass contempt charges. They *most* of the time let them out in a day or a few, depending on the attitude adjustment. And 3. If the judge is laughing, it’s never a good sign for you. 😅😹
If it's more than a day or a few days, most jurisdictions require a different judge to hold a criminal contempt hearing, or they'd just let them out, maybe with a fine. It would take a special kind of stupid to give the judge attitude at a criminal contempt hearing. +Not legal advice*
That karen who got smacked lightly by the other karen in the head, then waited 5 seconds and then proceeded to act like she was dying, that just got to me man. XD
I thought the whole thing was a riot because honestly she will be legally held responsible for smacking the woman in the back of the head with a magazine because that's assault even if it was a mild assault. She didn't need to involve massive histronics to get the woman charged for hitting her.........
My mother once had to go to court because an old man ran into her when she was making a legal turn, then he fled the scene of the accident. In court the judge asked him why he left the scene and he said well judge I had to pee. The entire court burst out laughing at this 70 year old man, I'll never forget it. And yes, he had to pay court costs and to fix the damage to our car.

I've worked in the criminal court system for over 20 years. So many stories of people cussing, carrying on, falling out (both real and fake), jumping out windows, threatening staff, saying things that are hilarious and/or make no damn sense, and the list goes on. Most of our judges have patience and a great sense of humor, but don't push them too far.
I’m sure they see a lot, but some of therepurcussions effect more than just the person in front of the judge. Doubling a fine to $10,000 for attitude saying “adios” seems over the top. Not only will that debt follow that young one for YEARS, I bet it increased the likelihood of her continuing whatever crime she was involved in before. Sentencing people to jail time for attitude increases their risk of losing their job, house, everything.
I feel like there are so many similarities between those experiences working in the criminal court system and working at a public school. Now at least, I know where some of the entitled students end up when they're older.

My sister is a judge in small claims court and she said it’s usually not exciting. But every once in a while it gets very fun with someone who is out of line, and she gets to give them hell. And all the ‘interesting characters’ are entertaining, too.
I've only been in small claims court once and it was a crazy ex roommate of mine that claimed I did $12000 in damages to our 30+year old rented mobile home. No she didn't own it, no she didn't get charged for it, not to mention I don't think you could cause that much damage to that old of a trailer home if you burned it to the ground... Not only that but she said I stole a "dented dog bowl", a $1 cat pooper scooper, and a used Walmart broom that she had an affidavit for 🤣 Through my work I had a small amount of legal services provided to me and my guy jumped at the opportunity to be there 😂 he told me that he had once represented a ninja suing another ninja and they had to prove in court who was the better ninja and he never thought he'd top that ridiculousness but something about the "dented dog bowl" had him ROLLING. For anyone wondering the results: we got thrown out within 10 minutes cuz (at least in our area) you can only sue up to $10,000 in small claims, and my old roomie made the mistake of sending me a certified letter saying I owe her $12,000 before suing for $9,998. As the judge said: you can't lower the amount just to go to a smaller court. I couldn't help but notice that though our judge never said anything unprofessional.... He sure did blink a lot after some of her answers 🤣 like when she volunteered information and clarified that I bought new cat pooper scoopers (which she still had) but she KNEW I had stolen the dollar tree ones she had before. I don't think I spoke other than introductions to the judge. I don't know what would possess anyone to say that unprompted. The whole thing was wild. I honestly kind of expected her to come at me in the parking lot but luckily no
I felt for the judge with the guy who missed hi court date because of Thanksgiving. Presumably the judge himself missed Thanksgiving... for his no-show.
That guy continuously being held in contempt for swearing at the judge, "You want more time?" "Sure F*** it!", reminds me of the movie Breakfast Club, where the Dean kept giving more days of in school suspension to John Bender (Judd Nelson).
That one where the Kevin kept swearing at the Judge, wouldn't shut up and kept getting days to a whole year for Contempt of the Court, reminded me of the Breakfast Club part where he mentions Detention.
I know this is a year late but that was hilarious! (The ham sandwich was the best.) I went to court once to fill out some legal papers and due to my family's addiction to Law & Order at the time I said "yes judge" very respectfully without really thinking. It was probably as casual as a courtroom could ever be but I started laughing when the judge did and said he needed that. Apparently he'd had a stressful day and needed a laugh.
The sass that comes out of the judges when they're confronted with buffoonery is the best. Like tell me your education and work experience and prestigious position juxtaposed with a ham sandwich rolling around on the floor doesn't bother you hahahahahaha
"Ham Sandwich" had me snorting/laughing! Had to pause to collect myself. That was hilarious! Falling on the floor and fainting! I wonder how often she practiced that! You can do more of the curt Karens. I messed up. I wish I'd become a judge.

I honestly kind of expected her to come at me in the parking lot but luckily no
2:22 ohhhh boy that was a laugh i needed, the smack, the scream, and the way she fell! LMAOOO 😂
Ok! My favourite line ever uttered by a Judge! "Someone get this ham sandwich out of my court!" 🤣
Well.. it wasn't real court, just a play (the title in screen is kinda telling). All actors.
...but I'd love to hear that from real judge
@@duckeh1952 Didn't know that's what it was, it was still funny though ^^
I felt for the judge with the guy who missed hi court date because of Thanksgiving. Presumably the judge himself missed Thanksgiving... for his no-show.
"Somebody get this ham sandwich out of my court!" Im dead right now, i would have had to leave the room to i would have been laughing so hard 🤣💀
this is officially my favorite Karen content bc they don't get away with anything and it's highly satisfying 😂
That ham sandwich comment from the judge at 3:18!! 🤣🤣🤣
WHEN THE SIGN CHANGES TO BURGER KING YOU CAN HAVE IT YOUR WAY IM SO DONE LOL
That guy continuously being held in contempt for swearing at the judge, "You want more time?" "Sure F*** it!", reminds me of the movie Breakfast Club, where the Dean kept giving more days of in school suspension to John Bender (Judd Nelson).
LOL literally had the same thought. "Don't mess with the bull young man, you'll get the horns"
We definitely need a part 2. So happy Charlotte Dobre made my day 💖 AGAIN
That one where the Kevin kept swearing at the Judge, wouldn't shut up and kept getting days to a whole year for Contempt of the Court, reminded me of the Breakfast Club part where he mentions Detention.
Stop Milton!!!!
i honestly felt bad for that guy. it seemed to me like he needed help.
Yes, I thought this the first time I saw it on court tv.
"Wanna go for 3?"
I would feel bad if he actually knows he's already in deep shit once he's in court. Sympathy gone once he started throwing a tantrum like a child.
@@jbocks Me too....I got to the end of that clip thinking, "that's just sad." :/ (He had already had said he already f'ed his life up... :/)
The way the 2nd women ACCTUAL NAME was Karen made me rewind 3 times to make sure i heard and read correctly and then die laughing 😂😂💀😭
Charlotte, we're gonna need more of these court videos thank you ma'am.
I agree 💯
I know this is a year late but that was hilarious! (The ham sandwich was the best.) I went to court once to fill out some legal papers and due to my family's addiction to Law & Order at the time I said "yes judge" very respectfully without really thinking. It was probably as casual as a courtroom could ever be but I started laughing when the judge did and said he needed that. Apparently he'd had a stressful day and needed a laugh.
"This isnt burger king!" im dying lol
0:33 in the video, charlotte was just chilling when a whole fight scene was about to happen.
Karen: *mouths off to the judge*
Judge: You're in contempt!
Karen: *Pikachu wow face*
This video was less like Karen's lying, and more like, "How being a Karen can ruin your life"
The sass that comes out of the judges when they're confronted with buffoonery is the best.
I laughed so hard the face you made when the lady was filming herself falling to the ground lol
Lmao right?!? And then he called her a ham sandwich. I think that's great cuz that's what I always called my kids when they were over acting and acting the ass.
Same lmao!
They're all actors.
@@ruse_d_news You're right, it's from a parody video made by The Black Keys band to promote their tour. Here's another video which proves it's done by actors:

That head slap I had to rewatch several times.. the ridiculous drama wow 😂😂
Loved this! PLEASE do another one! It was so entertaining and satisfying to see dumbasses getting called out by judges 😂😂😂
I love how at 1:32 it says *inaudible* when it was clear she said “frivolous”
I’m here for it! Sometimes I find the Karen videos hard to watch but Karen’s facing consequences I am living for!
2:30 That woman needs to be a Soccer player Lol.
Watching your videos is like hanging out with a best friend! Thank you Charlotte for being you (:
Absolutely loved this!!! Please make this a series!! Love your face! Was super sick yesterday and I needed this!

I've seen the Rosemarie Aquilina clip a thousand times and my opinion of her never lowers. She’s one of America’s best judges, the way she handled the Nassar case was phenomenal.
Qiana Lillard isn’t far behind, she has such a sweet voice but that doesn’t mean she’s soft.
Please do more of these Charlotte, these are practically gift-wrapped for you! 😍
I've watched the Santa Claus looking judge a few times with different clients. He is LOVELY! This specific clip gives me so much satisfaction that he will do his job with class and humour even when pissed off
This made me so stressed out. I cannot imagine acting this way in a court of law.
1:30 - In the first "inaudible" I think the word was "frivolous".
3:17 - That's one ham sandwich that nobody wants to eat!
The delay in falling to the ground after being hit with some paper’s is hilarious, she needs to watch soccer players for tips 😂
What about Karen's that get arrested for calling the police on Walmart customers? That's hilarious too Charlotte 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I hope y'all have a blessed weekend my Canadian friend. You are amazing and don't ever forget it.
I almost sprayed my water all over my monitor @ 2:37. Worse time to sip.
""Somebody get this ham sandwich out of my court!! " that had me laughing so hard, also the judge telling the karen its no burger king and when the sign changes to burger king then you can have it your way, yeeeees
My mother was a judge before she retired, and none of these episodes would surprise her, except maybe the ham sandwich! Me? I laughed until I cried.
Omg "this ham sandwich" LMAO I'm dying over here!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Charlotte, I find myself saying things like you do to my clients. They laugh so much. Thank you for your great sense of humor and YOU being YOU!!!
I love it when you sing, you have a great voice! Plus, you doing all those funny accents that are spot on!
That first clip is from a couple in court and the husband is trying to get another restraining order against his wife (the lunger) and he just looked at the judge after like "see what I have to deal with". I saw it on court cam
LOL that first Karen was surprisingly agile. 😂
Okay, this video made my day. Finally ACCOUNTABILITY at its very best. Ham sandwich & " have it your way" judges had me rolling
Don't know what was funnier the judge calling that woman a ham sandwich or your laugh charlotte it's infectious just makes me smile ☺ 😊 😄 thank you
They took billy flynns advice about giving the court room the old razzle dazzle a bit too seriously 😂
Love the "Chicago" reference 👍😁
I like how the "Ham Sandwich" pretended to pass out but still held the phone up 😂😂😂
This was hilarious 😂 you should definitely do more of these Charlotte. Thank you so much for always starting my day with a good laugh 😊
Yaaaas!! Charlotte, this video is *chef’s kiss*
More of these courtroom Karens, please!!
We all hold _all_ Karens in contempt, Charlotte~😂
These are my fav. Nothing like FINALLY seeing these people getting what’s coming to them
Ooh that third judge was NOT having it and I love it 🤣
The dramatic slap and she screams and falls 😂
Please do more of these if you can! 🙏 These are priceless...and I hope everyone has an awesome weekend ❤️
i lost it at "ham sandwich" 😂
the judge calling her a "ham sandwich".. I stand with ham sandwiches and they are insulted🤣
OMG these lawyers have the most golden comedy savage comebacks EVER I LOVE them!!! 😂😂
I lost it at "ham sandwich"
The “ham sandwich” remark made my day!! Love it!! I just might steal that one! Wait! Steal from a judge? Not my best idea! LOL!!!
Love your videos they keep me sane and a time where things are not going so great for me or my service dog so thank you so much Charlotte really appreciate all the work that you do and all the hard work you put into making these videos❤❤❤
You've got a service dog?!? What's their name? Also I hope you're doing ok. You're loved so much. Give lots of treats and pets to your dog and take care of yourself ok? Have a wonderful day.

I'm sad to know you and your best paw friend are having a hard time. I'll be praying for you bestie!! Stay strong.
Thank you for watching give your pup a pet for me!
@@wildheartvoxinlore ❤ I actually have two their names are Sammy and Morgana they are both great Danes for mobility support as well as PTSD and to put it in simple terms I am about five days away from being evicted I have a go fund me started and I’ve been trying to get help but nobody’s willing to plus I know it’s a holiday so it makes it hard for people and I understand that I can give my go fund me info but if Charlotte sees any of these comments please let me know if it’s OK to put my go fund me info on here if anybody wants to help
@@erikarussell1142 ❤😢
i like how the person doing the subtitles in clip two didn't know the word frivolous and labeled it as "inaudible" haha
The Burger King judge is the one who presided over Larry Nassar and she is a fkin beast! LOVE HER!
Yes, she is the best. I watched the Nassar case and especially how she delivered the verdict.
I'm so glad I found this channel. Anytime I need a good laugh to pick me up I just watch a few videos and I'm happy the entire day. 😂
I love court cam dramas 👏🏼 well done Charlotte 👏🏼♥️
the 'ham sandwich' one is from a satirical Black Keys social media ad campaign for their last album -- amazing that it's so close to being believable though!
