    Hi. I have been suffering from pelvic misalignment for about a year now. My left leg was about a inch longer than my right and my ankle, knee, and hip were feeling so bad it was hard to walk. I went to the chiropracter about 15 times in 3 months and my hips would fall out faster each time. It felt like there was no end. I started seeing a physical therapist and with in a week a felt better. First of all I think chiropracters have there place. My chiropracter did so much for me it was amazing but im going to tell you how to keep your hip in place after you see your chiropractor or your physical therapist. Every morning and night but a pillow or two in between your legs while on your back with your knees up and feet on the ground. Push your knees together and hold for five seconds. Repeat 5x. The first time you will probably feel poping sounds this is the front of your pelvis realigning it self by you useing your muscles. This will also help build mucles to keep you aligned. After this do the cobra yoga excercise (find on youtube) 5x this will help your lower back and keep it aligned. Also find some thing you can do some assited sqauts with or put some thing like a 2x4 on the ground and put your heels on it and do some sqauts that way. Do this at least 2x a day. I swear you will feel better but your hip should be back in place befor you do this. Also do excercises to build your core and lower back. Just though id post this. Im 26 and was feeling like my life was ending and now im back wakeboarding and doing things I love but I do these excersies every day. Good luck and let me know if you feel better. Physical theapy is the key stay active!

    Chiropractic adjustments are probably one of the most important health care measures you can take. Right along side massage. Every nerve in your body is connected to your spine if a muscle is so tense as to pull a bone out of place an adjustment is necessary to re align. Without adjustments I wouldnt be able to move.

    Thanks a whole whole lot of bunch Sir. I was in so excruciating pain. I had stepped in a street bump with my right foot and ever since then I had a noticeable protuding bone, below my belly on the right side of the pelvic front. I'm also a bit overweight 230 pounds. Hence this caused more big of a deal and pain and issues in my day to day work. I just now came across this video and did the step where the lady lied on her left side and hugged herself. I didn't have anyone to push my buttocks, so after turning as much as I can, I myself slightly pressed on my buttocks with my right hand. And there it was. A slight click and the protuding bone is gone. Thanks alot for this video. May God bless you with the right path and may He make you help more of his beloved people. I don't know if anyone considers this a big deal or not, but for me it was. Thanks a lot. I pray to God that he gives me better courage and determination to follow a better diet, exercise regularly and be thankful for all this wonderful body he's granted.

    brazjol I'm a medical professional and had my doubts about chiropractors until I experienced extreme pain from my SI joint. This procedure gave me unbelievable relief of pain. I am now a believer. Patients go to chiropractors because they actually help relieve pain. The proof is both clinical and evidence based.

      Denise Cooper I have had issues with my SI joints from a rear end car wreck. I went to a Chiro for 6 months (150 visits!) and I begged him NOT to do this on me, but he continued. It was so damn painful to me! After crying and begging him not to do it he finally stopped, but that was after 145 visits in. I'm still as screwed up as I was the day I started. The whole experience was SO PAINFUL for me!

    • @psychetruth
      @psychetruth  10 лет назад +28

      Regular chiropractic adjustments will literally resolve problems of misalignment in the back. Unfortunately because of our habits (the way we sit, walk, drive, etc.), one adjustment will not permanently fix the problem, our body will usually revert to the misalignment caused by our habits. Stretching regularly and building core strength are other ways to permanently resolve back pain.

      PsycheTruth I have been for my 1st visit today, I have been living with this problem for years which I thought was my back as I had an MRI scan 5 years ago that showed L4/L5 issues but for some reason they never picked up that my pelvis is in the wrong place. Now flare ups seem so regular I have finally sought help. It is nice to understand the cause of my problems now as I also assumed I had back issues as per my GP. Very informative video. :),

  • @ThePdxster
    @ThePdxster 11 лет назад +1

    Yes, it is a indication that the hips have shifted at the SI joint. My physical therapist adjusted the length of my legs so they were equal (through manipulation). Once everything is aligned correctly, then the follow up exercises they give you help to keep the SI joint stabilized, My PT said this is the most common cause of lower back problems. The pelvis won't move back into place on their own so you don't ever heal, your body just tries to compensate and you get more frequent back problems.

    The way he adjusted the sacro-illam jonint looked like the proper and best way i have seen. Most chiropracters i have seen have you in the same position but they jump on you from the side and the only thing i feel going back in place is the bones in the middle of the back not the sacrum-illam joint.

  • @jamessmith99731
    @jamessmith99731 9 лет назад +5

    There is evidence that chiropractic can help alleviate symptoms of low back pain. There is no evidence that it can help with any other medical problems and may in fact cause harm. The theory behind chiropractic, specifically subluxation theory, is scientifically unsound. It seems likely that much of the benefit of chiropractic comes from the "laying on of hands" and listening to the patient. There is no reason to believe this is any better than standard massage therapy, which may be considerably safer.

    I have ended up on this video by watching stretching and exercises for my hips flexors. I constantly need to exercise them as my core is weak but over the years I have developed and understanding of my condition and through Pilates (mat and reformer) I have found a reason to smile and to enjoy a passion in well-being through exercise. I do not want to end up like my dad who has gone through drugs and epidurals first, then the surgery (twice), only to be left with a painful scar that is eroding is sciatic nerve and from which I understand there is hardly a way back.
    Chemical medicines is not fixing the problem and that's way I have never taken pain killers but I enjoy my gym membership 3-4 times p/w. I wish my dad was looked after by this doctor rather than the traditional practitioners many years ago and, still, I would like him to have a chat with someone that has a profound understanding of the matter...

I mean he didn't pay any attention to how this is done, even with me placing everything and the only thing he needs to do is push. he did it right on one side, but of course it's the side that didn't need adjustment, then when asked to do it to the other he wouldn't do it. which is fucked because I've been in such HORRIBLE pain and can hardly walk or even stand up at first. but noooo. it's so fucked and like the worst tease ever. let's help the side that doesn't need help, but the side that REALLY REALLY REALLY needs adjusted, you're fucked on.

      People go to school for years learning this, its not like you can do it to yourself or somebody do it to you just by watching a video.

    In my opinion.. the chiro is for special cases. at the end of the day most ppl that go are there for quick fixs and chiros know that. We find most of our postural habits in muscle. not bone. address the root cause of the problem. don't band aid. dahhh

    Too bad chiropractic is quackery and not a legitimate medical profession.

      hmm, that's interesting because most major mainstream health insurance covers it.

    • @brazjol

      it's as good as placebo effect. same reason acupuncture is covered by many insurance plans. it's cheaper for the insurance company than real medicine, especially for problems that go away on their own or are psychosomatic. there's no evidence to support any of the claims made by chiropractic. "subluxations" don't exist and they aren't the cause of the numerous illnesses which chiropractic claims. it's also dangerous, people have died from it.

    • @brazjol

      you're claiming evidence-based medicine doesn't work. if double-blind controlled studies don't convince you of its efficacy then i'd wonder what kind of studies you could provide to prove your point

    +PsycheTruth I was hit by a car while crossing the street in October. The lady slammed on her brakes; I didn't fall, but I was shoved pretty good on my right hip. I didn't start feeling pain in my back until maybe January. No doubt this is sacroiliac joint pain I am feeling. Will this manipulation readjust my joints, or would my pain require more serious attention? Please reply. Thanks doc

    @Ricardo20609 I am sorry you had a bad experience. I am glad you did have relief. I am all for natural remedies and cures and it seems you found one that worked for you. Just to let you know not all people in all professions are the same (attorney, MD, dentist, teacher etc). It seems you're jaded by all chiropractors? Like in all professions there are good and others that don't cut it. You found another avenue that helped you.I am glad you got the help.

Is it safe to follow your instructions? P.S. The sciatic pain has gone from my lefthand side since operation.

    It depends on the country, but yes most veterinarians are veterinarian physicians who hold doctorate level degrees same with dentists.
