Thank you Renee for connecting to the premiere tonight. I was holding my breath too and couldn’t write anymore. A rough video. Thanks for watching until the end.
I can’t imagine how stressful it was to be there! I was holding my breath, too! I think I even broke a sweat! This was an amazing turnaround for Shay without surgery. Another reason I’m thankful for Dr. Doug and his compassion for people and animals alike.
Wow, that was just an intense video. Lots of holding our breath and feeling so bad for Shay and his pain. What a tremendous outcome for everyone! Congratulations Doc, Shay and momma! 💯🐶❤️
His tail wagging and his little, happy trot at the end was so adorable! It hurt my heart to watch him in pain but it was all worth it so he felt relief and didn’t have to get surgery.
Whew! Mission painfully accomplished! Look at him now. No sign of discomfort at all. I started to cry. It was difficult to watch. Us animal lovers are willing to do what it takes to do the right thing for our babies.

Wow doc, great job…it was so amazing to see him moving naturally. YOU ARE THE BEST! And mom, trusted you to make her baby better, and you did. What a great team. This little guy is so trusting and patient. I am so happy for him.

Wow! I‘m so glad you are here still encouraging me Vaga, that means so much to me! Thank you. So glad you saw how he was walking and jumping from the couch.
I don't know how to express what i'm feeling after watching this video. Shay was obviously in severe pain and distress. I'm glad you were able to help him on so many levels. It must be heartwrenching to hear him cry. Thank you for using your skills to bring about a successful recovery Dr Doug. It must be very gratifying work. Bless you.
That crying baby reminded me of my years of dog grooming. I wouldn’t continue to put a distressed dog under those circumstances, without sedation with sharp instruments. Too many times groomers get angry, and push it, then the dog ends up injured/scared of groomers. In this is situation, you were able to help this little guy, I loved seeing him back up and playful. ❤
I was brought to tears in the pain and in the rejoicing!! YAY!! Dr. Willen, are you mentioning anyone? We need more caring, patient willing folks like you. All my best! 😊❤
I know putting joints back into place is uncomfortable. So glad you were able to get the ball back in the socket. There was less pain, recovery time and expense doing an adjustment. Great job! Shows your knowledge, experience and skill. Thank you for sharing.
I can't be the only one crying and squirming for poor Shay( and both of you) Excellent job. Thank goodness she was able to find you. I hope vets far and wide see this.
I‘m so sorry Barbara, I didn’t want to hurt your feeling, I know it was a rough video and I‘m glad you could see the fantastic outcome. Thank you for being faithfully always here.🙏🏻
The compassion ❤ is off the charts. I could feel the horrible extreme pain in this little puppy but having the ability to heal with out any surgery is the real miracle of 1 man's hands. Doc your truly amazing, beautifully gifted with those healing hands of yours The real tools of healing and not always in this world of the medical institution of cutting ( surgery) first. I love watching you and never get tired but always amazed at what 1 man can do with his hands . 💜🧡💙💚

Always hard to see an animal in pain but glad to see little Shay is all better. My heart broke when he just collapsed on the ground after the first attempts to pop his joint back in the socket, he was just wiped! Glad this one had a happy ending 😊
Doc, you are awesome. I was crying so hard during your procedures. You and Shay's keeper, held it together. I admit my volume was turned down. Your gifts, Doc, are remarkable. Your bedside manner superb!! I watch you on YT very often. May God continue to guide your hands❣️ Amen. 🙏 🐾
You are one caring, compassionate, talented doctor. Thank you to owner & you for really trying to avoid surgical methods. It's really better for the animal.
I experienced this between 2 or three times a week with hips and knees. It's a crazy level of pain but learnt to do it myself. Kisses to the doggie. Poor puppy.
OhMyGosh!!! When it popped in, her intake of breath made me want to cry. I'm so glad you tried again. Hopefully, it's the last of his hip trouble. Although, when he jumped off the couch, I cringed.
I'm so happy for his outcome. He couldn't hide the pain of the adjustment but he didn't go into full flight mode. He only did the fight mode very briefly while the pain was at its most intense and then he settled when you stopped pulling. He never showed fear towards either of you. He just screamed in pain because he couldn't hold it back because the pain overtook him. That will forever hurt my soul but I am happy for him to have the head of his femur back in place and to not have to go through surgery right now. If the tendon damage is bad enough he may end up needing surgery years ahead in the future but this way we know that is only a maybe.
That's a LOT OF TRUST between dog-owner, chiro-owner, dog-chiro. It helped that she had such a good relationship with her dog. Somehow, he knew she was trying to help him. Amazing outcome. Yay!
