OMG I have been Crocheting for thirty Plus years , but just recently got back into it. I have always done the same stitch due to the fact I know no other, but thanks to you Melanie and your videos I have been going to town. Your videos are so easy to follow and you take your time and repeat the process more than just once , I love that and your videos and thank you so much for teaching me how to expand the hobby that I love.

maybe y'all need to watch a video on reading patterns? That's what I did before I ever started crocheting. I watched lots of videos! I've only been crocheting 3 months (if that) and I have no problems reading complex patterns or following more complex videos. Just a thought. What works for me, may not work for y'all, just thought I'd suggest it 😉😊

I just wanted to thank you for your pattern , and how you showed difference between the wool and the needle. I have crochet and knitted for years and never knew to difference of the wool. I am making this for my great-grand-daughter and she is going to be thrilled . You really show how everything is done and slow enough for everyone can see and do. I am Canadian and I just want to thank you for showing this.

I’ve made a lot of messy buns. This is the first that I have had a Bulky 6 Lion Brand Hometown USA and it turned out perfect! I went to 20” on the brim and then I had 36 stitches around. Once I finished I had 18 stitches left. It turned out PERFECT! This is the best messy bun pattern I’ve watched. It will work with ALL yarn is the best part. Thank you so very much for a pattern that looks good and makes sense. Was so easy! I’m going to get creative now. 😂

I am an older woman and am use to reading written instructions and graph's I love the video's. It makes it so easy. Now I'm not complaining you do great!. But try to stay with crocheting terms used in most books. It is less confuseing for us old in their ways people. But also it is good for the young learner. They will do better if they learn it correctly from the get go. Notice I said old in our ways not stuck! Thank you so much for all you do for people learning.

I posted one on Facebook and received orders like crazy! Unlike yours, I started from the top and went around a hair tie so it stretches and fits around a bun then did the ribbing on the bottom. This is great for anyone wanting to make them.

I have done MANY of these using your tutorial so thank you! I’ve also found that I think the band turns out a LOT better if you only do the SC in the BLO for the middle three stitches; SC through both the first and last stitch. It makes it look MUCH more straight and pretty vs BLO through all stitches!

I first started watching your sewing videos and being a fairly new sewer you are a great help to me. I was just wondering something.
