I loved this messy bun hat I made the first one and have it sitting in my inventory ready to be sold and I am making another one so that I can decorate it with my gemstones and get that ready for my inventory as well
I like this messy bun hat/ear warmer/ bandeau very much . . . Thank you for your excellent tutorial. 😘❤️🌹
I made it with a 5.5 hook and it came out just as pretty. I’m definitely going to be making more of these.
Corina!! This pattern/idea is absolutely wonderful and I’m very excited to make some. Thank YOU 🤙🏼
When creating the knot in the front, I suggest you just weave your yarn strand down through each row, the pull tight to crunch them together and then proceed to wrap it around until finished. This will help you position the rows neatly.
I was looking for a tutorial like this one. Looks very easy, I can’t wait to make it. Thank you! 😊
I love this hat. I made it for a senior and he loves it also.
Another cute pattern!!!❤ I’m so glad I found your channel 😊
Thank you! 😊
Just adorable, and I love your personality❤
Thank you ❤
This is soo cute! I love the style!
Beautiful headband 💞👍
Thank you 😊😊
Love it
Thank you 😊
Excellent teacher thank you for this! Super cute pattern.
Thank you so much for that!🥰, and you’re very welcome ☺️
You explain everything SO well. Thanks!
This is really cute thank you for sharing your cute idea with the world❤️
Thank you 😊, and you’re welcome 😉
I finished this headband. I hope I did you justice. I tried to post a picture but didn't know how.
I would take my needle down the crunch section and weave it in and out all the way down and i think it would be easier to loop around it a couple times. It's really cute i plan to make some. Thank you for sharing
I like that tip on the band of using regular sc in first and last stitch. It does make it so much easier when crocheting in the edge for the rest of the hat. I also love that slip stitch in front loop for a top stitch look. I can definitely work this project in to my schedule tomorrow. I'll see you again then when I rewatch this. Thanks.
Awesome 👍🏻😁, and thank you 😊
This is unique could I use dk and a 4mm? Or would that make it to small? Or how could I adjust it to use this yarn and hook or would you not recommend it? Thank you so much! Love this.❤🎉😊
This is a super cute pattern, thank you for sharing. I will note though - you want to be SUPER loose on those slip stitches, otherwise this hat will not fit at all. The band of my hat was perfect, with perfect stretch, but the slip stitches do not stretch. So the top of my hat really closed off compared to the bottom. Looks cute, just doesn't fit like it should.
I had the exact same problem 😅
I took mine apart and found that replacing that third loop slip stitch with a back post single crochet has a similar look and stretches! Worked for me much better!@@lilguac1605
Thanks for the video! I would love to make these for kids. They are for gifts, do I need to measure their heads? 🤷🏻♀️🙃
Okay I did make 2 of them. Mine look a little like mini halter tops for babies. lol I used Red Heart soft and it worked out perfectly. I used a misc craft yarn that was stiffer and it worked up a bit oversized but still looks great. I am thinking of making the band in one color and the pattern rows in another but have yet to decide what colors. Thanks. It was a fun fast pattern. I could see where someone could sell at craft fairs and make some money.
Lol, you are so freaking funny 🤣
I think using a different color for the band sounds great!! 👍🏻👍🏻, I will have to try that myself
What do you think these would sell for? I am in AZ and right now is the cold time for us. We get down to the 40s and we walk around frozen. Lol!! I liked that tutorial.
@@sonyaleon7238 I am not a businesswoman and have no idea what they could sell for. I just know that it didn't take much yarn or time and therefore, the profit margin would be better than larger projects. Where I live in Ohio, they wouldn't sell for much but in a more affluent area where you don't have so much cold, they would probably sell for more. Sorry, I couldn't help more.
How long did it take to be able to get that fast
How could I make this to fit a child/preteen size head?
I really want to make this with a size 5 bulky yarn😭 I have the most beautiful yarn that would look beautiful with this pattern😫😫😫 I think I’ll try with a size 5 hook instead of a 6mm as suggested on the yarn. Hopefully it might work??
Did it work?
Is there a written pattern?
How would you suggest making it to fit a specific head size? I made one according to your directions and it doesn't fit at all! My head must be way too big and I'd like to make one to fit me!
no problem at all, just grb your tape measure and measure your head exactly where you will wear it and make the ribboing that long, but keep in mind that the ribbing is very stretchy so be sure to try on the ribbing band as you make it
Is theire a written pattern? To follow along :-)
I’m sorry, I didn’t have a written pattern for this
What is considered a row?
I consider the double crochet rows " a row"
Looks good, however, could you not stitch so far towards the bottom of the screen-camera because it cuts you off. This makes it difficult to see. Therefore, you have to go back and replaying in order to kinda get what your doing. Thank you.
Yes, I’m very sorry, I’m working on that, I’m new to crocheting under a camera . The camera blocks my view and I naturally fight it by moving out of frame with out even thinking, I’m trying 😊
Nice but I don't think it is a easy project like the title stated.
the stitch at minute 12 makes no sense especially since it’s not on screen
what I did when I went out of frame was a slip stitch into the first back loop of the stitch of the previous round, then I chained 1 , after that you saw what I did from there... thank you
This tutorial was not easy to follow along to. That’s just me.
