Thank you much for this tutorial! I enjoyed listening to your calm teaching voice with a hint of humor. 😉Is there anyway you could give a printed pattern for future use? My phone is the only way I have to watch and that gets a little difficult for an old lady like me.
I'm hoping to have my granddaughter print it out for me also I can keep making this for all!

Ended up perfect. Thanks for a quick fun project for me to do last night. I've already had requests to make more!!! I loved how you did the brim at the end - I'll be using this technique in the future!!! 💓

Please recheck round 3 in children’s size. How can you end up with 18 vstitch clusters when you have 12 vstitches in round 2 and increase every third stitch in round 3. My math says you will have a total of 16 vstitch clusters in round 3.

Your math is right. I wasn't making the child size beanie on the video so I started with 36 chains in my foundation and made 18 v-stitch clusters in round 2. That's the right count for an adult beanie. I did reference what count you should have for a child's size at round 2 and then just showed you the increase round. 👍

Does that mean you do increase on round two instead of three

My beanie keeps increasing in size as I go after row three. What am I doing wrong. It ends up way too wide

You shouldn't be increasing after row 3. Make sure you're only crocheting your cluster v stitch into the center of each of the previous v stitches and not the increase of the cluster v stitch in between them. You should only have 24 cluster v stitches row 4 and on. Hope that helps! 😊👍

How can I customize my size can you give me some information about increasing stitches and etc.

Hi there. If you need a larger size, you could always do one more increase round. In the video, I stopped increasing on the repeat of 3 v- stitch clusters 1 increase. You could do the next round by working 4 stitches to 1 increase and see if that gets you the size you need. If it's too big, maybe try working 6 stitches to 1 increase. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🥰

Thanks for this. If you could let us slow it down that would be great though.

You can slow it down. That's not an option we set. It's a playback option on your end. 👍
