This is what I needed, create a mask, according to the alpha of the imported image, with the help of an anchor point. Awesome.

Hi , thanks for the video. You can also import your image as an alpha image if you create your with these seetings PRB - Metallic Roughness Alpha Blend. This is also a great setting for creating glass in or anything transparent in substance painter.

IDK why transparency issues tend to have indirect solutions, thanks for sharing this

WORD! This should be the default when using PNGs with alpha!

Yes that's quite weird, especially knowing how intuitively and simply this issue is solved in many other programs, what are these Rubik's cubes for...

'cause you just needed to turn off all channels except of albedo (diffuse). Fill layer by def. has 50% of rough. and 0% metallic. So it gets layering onto layers beneath, creating that semi-trans white square. Gotta learn a bit more about how CG works, lol

my friend i also need roughness in the sitcker so that it would feel like a plastic layered.

in that case anchor points come in handy, you're right. If you need smth more than just a color info - use anchor. I thought you're talking about adding png in general, yk @@zarus.m9925
