Until I watched this video, I did not know Crystal Flash existed. Even after beating the game a couple times, there are so, so many things I never knew about it.
Question: Why did you grab the Varia Suit after killing Kraid? You already had the Gravity suit, and had already done all that needed be done in Norfair.
varia suit allows you to survive mother brain's rainbow beam with 300 HP otherwise you would need at least 600 HP to survive - he would need to get more energy tanks if he skipped varia
what the hell happened at 19:17!? i saw that one healing trick (i forgot the name) and the missile counter got all wonky, and then i saw a shinespark even though i dont believe the speed booster had been obtained, and just WTF!!!
Crystal Flash (the healing trick) uses the same memory address to count how much ammo has been taken away as Draygon uses to count how many direction inputs until the player should be released. When the two situations combine, the direction inputs fight against the ammo counters until the ammo is brought down below zero. This causes the ammo to wrap around to the larges amount that memory address can read, which is somewhere around 65k. The shinespark also shares a memory address with the Crystal Flash, which causes a shinespark to be stored when Draygon interrupts the Crystal Flash. Therefore, through proper spamming of directional pad inputs upon initiating a CF while in Draygon's grasp, ammunition amounts underflow, and a spark suit is gained.

If you check the deanyd wiki, many of the yellow suit methods involve something happening to samus during a CF. She then sparks into Draygon and gets a blue suit (which always happens when you kill Draygon with a spark), and promptly charges it and sparks into the electricity to get another yellow suit, aka the "spike suit" method.
Can you defeat mother brain with only varia+gravity suit, no energy tank and 1 reverse tank? As far as I know: Without any suits, you need at least 8 energy tanks (as i saw in reverse order category). With varia+gravity suit, you need at least 3 energy tanks. With varia suit and reserve tank help, you need at least 2 energy tanks and 1 reserve tank. (as I saw in your 13% run)

You need a reserve tank and a couple of frame perfect pauses to avoid death. It's extremely unlikely that anyone would attempt this trick, much less achieve it in an RTA attempt.
Do you think it is posible in a RTA? I tried it a bit and could get stuck into the gate, but it wont open, do i have to do something additionally or do i have to hit the right frame? And how important is the position of the frozen enemy?
it's some weird mechanic with spikes/spike like entities causing it, I don't know the details, but if you want to know there's gotta be some comment in here that gives you the info you want

I’d much rather watch someone dominate the game in a legit manner, watching a TAS bot run is fun just to see what’s normally impossible but runs like this aren’t impressive to me, but hey that’s just my opinion.

Well from what I heard you can pull it off by moving left and right before falling.
Interrupting a crystal flash gives you a free shinespark, which he uses to kill draygon and get another free shinespark.
How does the Bowling alley cutscene skip work? it would be amazing if it could be working into an any% rta run.

using major glitches you are able to finish the game with an ingame time of 00:02 I think, in this run you at least do all the major bosses ;p

Xanadhor Varia Suit halves damage. Mother Brain's laser beam would have killed him if he didn't get it.

65535 after forcing it to go below 0 at Draygon with the new glitch. There would be no time to use all that even during 100% TAS.
