    Makes perfect sense!! For 6s it should have been a lil over 400 kv to fly comfortably. My 1450mm P-51B with the 540kv flew the same as this plane does stock. It looks good but labors. I put that 540kv motor and zip tie mod on 5s and it really woke it up!! FMS is being just a lil too conservative with the power set up! Leave it to you to come up with the simple way to get better performance!! Love the sound and the way it flies!! I havent gotten a Corsair yet but this one may be the one!! Good job Rich!

    @RCINFORMER around 2,310 RPMS more..
    Sweet! on you first video I was going to suggest 8s and see how that does with a speedo change..
    if your voltage sag is around 3.85v per cell under load for example, going from 6s to 8s you pick up 2,310 RPMS! About a 33% increase in rpms.
    Total watts per pound goes up as well giving way better performance..

I did push for 360 KV and it is possible they may have decided to go with that as the air frame has matured but let me see what I can find out🙂 thanks for the question and support in the channel👍

    I was thinking 8s on the 1st video. Much better. Im sure you know 300kv x 30v = 9,000 rpm.

    What is difference from v1 to v3 versions ?

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  2 года назад

      Too many to list but the key ones would be better construction using fewer parts, proper hinges on control surfaces instead of foam hinges, massively improved landing gear, more powerful motor, The cockpit does not need to be removed to access the battery on the new one, The quality of the foam,paint, finish etc-there has been significant advances in technology between versions and the latest one incorporates all of the most recent advances in aircraft construction methods. This is just a very summarised list there is actually a significant number of changes between the three and it would take me all night to list every single one but this should give you A good idea of the improvements and the quality of them. Thanks for the question And your support🙂

    Why not just put the correct 6s motor in it and keep it simple? The 4258-460Kv 14-Pole Brushless Motor from the 1500mm eflite P-51D 1.5m Mustang or a drop in FlightLine 5055-390Kv Brushless Motor

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  9 месяцев назад

      I did put the correct motor in it.... its the same size motor except its 60kv more...You can try all those ither motors if you want. The two I used are exactly the same motor & mount size, thus interchangeable... no modifications were needed. The FMS Corsair turns a BIG 4 blade prop... the 5055 may work, but the prop drive is a different size. The 4258 is probably too small.
