I love your videos and I’m always looking forward to read your IN, ON and AROUND emails. I specially enjoyed this week’s, telling us about your son…😊😊 ❤🙏🏻
As a brand new longarmer I can never thank you enough for your videos! Glad you had some family time recently and hope you are enjoying the end of season gardening.
Hi Tammie, I am so glad that you have had time with family and friends. Sounds like your garden bounty is wonderful. I loved all of the beautiful quilts that you shared today. You always pick the best quilting designs and do such a beautiful job. I also love the wide back fabrics that you selected - I would be happy with any of them. I can only imagine what fun it is to receive a quilt in the mail and open the box to all that quilty goodness!!
Tammie. Thank you for using your time to do this videos. It is pure eye candy for me. They give me many ideas for future quilts. I have used you videos as a way to calm a very busy mind. Even though I have watched some of your videos, I will rewatch them to calm the minds while I am sewing or stitching. I love the heart quilt.
It's a tie today on the favorite quilt, while I'm nota pink person, that rose pink baby quilt in beautiful. The quilt from the mystery quilt along, I immediately fell in love with! Thanks for another great video
Tammie, love the beautiful quilts with your lovely stitching...glad you had safe travels...hope your son does well at school...best wishes and happy stitching ❤❤
I am continually amazed as to how much you can get done in between the videos. I continue working with threads and fuzz and my one color cross stitch. See you next time. I watch you on our television so comments cannot be done.
Sara’s quilt design reminds me of Around the World or something like that! Love the heart design! In fact, I love all the pantographs that you chose. You do a great job choosing threads and size of quilting density!
Very nice quilts and beautiful quilting. I absolutely love the colorways of the pick baby quilt. Your heart quilting really holds my eye. So cozy and welcoming! Thank you for the video.😊
Lovely quilts especially the pink cancer quilt. Like the new backings especially the black trellis. I might have you use that on the back of my African quilt as I am not thrilled with the colors that came out on my ice dyed piece.
Loved seeing the fun quilts as well as your beautiful quilting ❤. The string quilts we’re interesting, as I also made one this year similar to the 2nd one. I put white sashing and red cornerstones on mine, and just love it 😍. Thanks for the videos.
I really like the 'Dear Heart' pantograph as well as the sweet baby quilt. I love how the Cuddle Minky backing quilted up on the one Marsha made for a friend. It is very nicely done and I loved that she used batting squares. Can you please tell us if the seams of the blocks had batting and if so how were they pressed?
Great question. Here is Marsha's response: "I used 1/4” seams and pressed seams to the side when making the blocks. I pressed the 1/4” seams open when sewing the blocks together."
When using the magna glides do you take the spring out of the bobbin case? . I’ve heard you should but then I’ve also heard that it’s not necessary. I also have a pro stitcher Amara. Thanks for sharing the wonderful quilting.
Hi Anne. I do not take the spring out. Mainly because I sometimes wind my own bobbins and I didn't want to have to keep track of the spring when it wasn't in the case. I have not had any trouble with leaving it in. Hope that helps.
Tammie I have purchased the fat quarter shops sew sampler blocks of pressed flowers and I purchased the press flowers from three months ago but I haven’t started. I have a question I just print off the information with the fabric needs. Is it true that we have to buy fat quarters?or can we use a layer cake to make these flowers?? Thank you. Loved the quilts❤️missed you last week. Congratulations ❤
I think a layer cake would work as well. None of the pieces that I have cut so far have been that big. My only concern would be that you have enough of each fabric. So if you're planning on using more fabrics than what is called for, I think you'll be fine. Maybe each of your flowers could be from different fabrics instead of a combination of the same fabrics. Hope that made sense.
Yes, it was there. Looks beautiful with the quilting Tammy did so try to rewind and find it! I also made this pattern and am delighted to see this perfect pantograph!
Wonderful quilts and designs. The pantagraph designs are really nice. So much fun. Thank you for sharing. ❤😊
You are so welcome!
Didn't get to watch until late afternoon. I so enjoy your videos. Beautiful quilts and quilting.
You are so kind. Thank you.
Beautiful quilts. I love the idea of the string quilt sewn on to batting squares, then to be able to put Cuddle on the back.
A great use of all our batting scraps.
I love your videos and I’m always looking forward to read your IN, ON and AROUND emails. I specially enjoyed this week’s, telling us about your son…😊😊

Really? Will you use the backing on something else then?

Sounds beautiful!
Hi I wondered where you were. Glad to see the wide backs. Our local (60 mi) has only plain blah. Thanks for sharing. Now I know it’s out there.
There are many many options in wide backings!

I'm curious to know if you wash your wide backings before quilting?
I have not.

I never saw the Tula quilt? Error in editing?
Yes, it was there. Looks beautiful with the quilting Tammy did so try to rewind and find it! I also made this pattern and am delighted to see this perfect pantograph!
The butterfly quilt was a Tula Pink pattern and fabric. Hope this helps.
