My husband was just telling me about Jaden Smith a couple of days ago! If I saw a truck like that, I'd go up and ask how I could help. I know what it's like to go hungry...really hungry...it's a great thing he is doing!

Kudos to him! Here in the Philippines, sometimes some delicious vegetables are more expensive than fish and chicken...especially during the rainy season. That's why to be right on the meal's budget, it's cheap to just have fried fish or chicken and just have vegetables as a side dish. So that's really a sweet treat that he's been sharing his blessings to the needy and healthy food at that. 😊

Thank you for sharing. That's interesting to learn, I had no idea but can understand how the economics work, depending on the time of year. It's great to see him doing so much for people in need. Maybe he'll bring a truck to the Philippines one day!

When it comes to a food desert I truly understand it. I grew up on a 175 acre farm and we were at least 20-25 miles to the closest grocery store. We did grow our own veggies and we had apples and different berries but these were not always available. Now I live in a small town where there is on real grocery store and they get to charge what they want for food and it's not always cheap. The closest next grocery store is about 10 miles and other than that it's like more than 20 miles to another one. If I wanted to go to a walmart or aldi those are about 25 miles in either direction. I feel for the people that live in an area where they would have less or have to travel more.

Thank you for sharing! I think it's important to talk about food deserts and educate others. I think it needs more attention since so many people aren't aware that this is a huge issue for so many people.
