thank you, I'm a very new user, have been watching Growling Sidewinder for a while and he is playing games not offered under DCS, wondered how to get and install them.
when I tried to open a new aircraft message says "The following DLCs are not authorized and will be disabled"....help plz.

@korbynbailey6384 for me i have FC3 but it proceeded to say my F-15EX and F-22A are not good unsure if its steam or how i installed the mod.

Hi. Whenever I try to load any mod into DCS, it says something along the lines of "autorization failed, following modules will not be avaiable" and disables all my mods. Can anyone help me with this?
EDIT: GUYS I BELIEVE I HAVE FOUND THE PROBLEM! So, instead of putting the mod into the standard DCS directory, try put it into the files under C:/Users/User/Saved Games/DCS. There might not be a "Mod" file, in that case you have to make one. It worked for me.

I get an authorization error for all the mods I download even if they arent dependent on a dlc.

Yeah. Tried using to F-22A mod and i just get an authorization error and the mod is dissabled
I got it too, but I was putting the mods direct on DCs files, then I open the saved games/DCs/ and didn't have a folder with name mods then a I just created it and inside of it another named aircraft

Hi thank you for the tutorial I took it personally loll but my problem was for the modd at the beginning of the video as I can understand it is those who come with their installers did not recommend so I was forgetting to reinstall everything but this time I understood against having free modds for the f16 f18 even F1 4 are really rare to find.... I have the steam version of the game and I am still able to drag the files and extract them to the aircraft folder but when I load up the game they are not there

when i open my DCS folder there is no mod folder does anyone know why this is?

for some reason all DCS mods i install just dont work. when i tried installing the VSN F-35 mod, it was just an uncontrollable AI plane flying itself, the grinelli F-22 mod didn't appear in the game at all, the SU-57 mod appears in the game but when i start a mission with it the loading is very slow and when it loads the entire world is just empty and everything is blue and the game freezes.
Same with me until i realized it gotta be open beta version
No it's probably that you don't own FC3, you can't fly most of these mods without it.

I have this problem with every modded aircraft I have (f22, alphajet e, ef 2000 and f35): whenever I am on the ground and want to steer either left or right, I get this weird movement bug. Even if I just try to turn slightly, my aircraft just immediately turns in that direction, without even turning over or having an animated nosewheel. However, once I reach a certain speed (different for every aircraft) it works the intended way. Is there a way to fix this?
Not sure. I do have that problem though.

my dcs doesnt have a mods folder, i downloaded it off the browser and everything and i cant figure out what i did wrong
i followed this video but for some reason all the jets just spawn with AI in them even though in the mission settings i have it set to player any work around?
That can happen if you don't own FC3.

You just create a new folder
Does this work on the release version, or just open beta. I did it on release and I don't see the new aircraft available.
by default my game doesn't have a "mods" folder, help please (the a4e mod doesn't either =>) and wouldnt the "Mods" folder have to have thats JSGME thing to be able to lo

Make a mods folder and no you don’t need JSGME for most mods

I just can’t fly the mods by myself for some reason I mange to get them in game can add them in Mission Editor but won’t load correctl wen set as player/client it’s just a free camera…

Saved Games is a folder that comes with Windows, you should have it somewhere.
@@SpinosSimulationswell i dont have it for some reason too. EDIT : Im French and windows found it funny to change the file to "partie enregistré" which means saved games in french but all the rest of windows is in English also it have the special icon with a chess piece

I for some reason don't have a mods folder and i need to know why and how to fix it
Just right click inside your DCS folder and select "New > Folder" and name it "Mods". I'm not sure why you don't already have one, have you just now installed DCS? Not having ever opened DCS before can be the culprit there. Just make sure you create it inside the DCS folder that is in your Saved Games folder. If you create it in the one in Program Files/Eagle Dynamics, you could break your DCS installation and have to run the DCS repair utility.

give us a tutorial on how to fix authorization failed for the mods i can't enjoy this game with only 2 aircraft
Probably installed to DCS core files and not Saved Games location.
Since i installed them on different storage on :/D theres no dcs file on savedgames i can only find it in D and installed the mod but authorization still failed tried searching on internet but i got nothing
anyways the somehow the mod is installed but when i tried on mission editor even when the skill is set to player my aircraft always getting controlled by ai idk why, i have fc3 module installed and still wont be able to control it

most tutorials say to make the mods folder and then add aircraft into the mods folder, it worked for me

Mods don't work in multiplayer unless the server you join is running them.
DCS tells me the A-4 is athorized

I just installed a-29b mod but can't fly it . Is is controlled by ai . What to do ?
I would check to make sure the skill level is set to client or player. It works fine for me.
