I'll easily pack the s21 ultra on a long trip rather than the iphone,more versatility for different situations, if I am on a scenic route and if you know photography well samsung has some amazing built in pro modes, with the addition of expert raw. Directors mode,single take are my favorites, you get get super creative with your shots. Samsung also has the best post processing tools,and lightroom has a dedicated s21 mode on expert raw. When taking wildlife photos you simply can't compare apple with samsung, apple is a glamor phone, not something you use out in nature,your typical city slicker phone. Samsung took over where pixel left off in the astro photography department, and it's so underrated,but it really is amazing,and should be emphasized more. Video mode has nifty omni mic features,where you can play around with the mic top and bottom of phone and also use the mics on the buds pro and you can toggle it in your camera app,puts you right inside the action. Voice capture takes out the shake of photos and an option to have a second shutter button on the other side of the screen,and be able to move it around,its like samsung knows that there might be challenges,and they bake in these little features to assist you.

S21 Ultra is made to compare for Iphone 12 Pro max. And I can say S21 Ultra is Phenomenal over all. S21 Ultra comparing to Iphone 13 pro max's Camera department, for me S21 ultra won. Cos it has a lot of features than 13 pro max. It gives you freedom as well. Im not compromising the camera department though. S21 Ultra's camera is excellent. And if you compare the phones with their over all features, Samsung S21 Ultra is still the flagship king of 2021. And Yes! Im a user of S21 Ultra.
Damn it, my s21u can't even compete when it comes to portrait mode on iphone 13 pro, its autofocus is much better and accurate on the face and a nightmode portrait gives it a huge benefit. And editing pro raw is a breeze comparing to samsung green mess raw.... very disappointed with my s21u cos i take mostly portraits

I got the white iPhone 13 pro max in silver 128gb and uploaded an unboxing video on my channel too! I also did an unboxing of the spigen clear glitter case. great clear case without adding more width/weight to the phone. The iPhone 13 pro max is a great phone.
Let's just call it how it is. Apple has pulled ahead hard in camera performance. I own both phones, love them both. 10 out of 10 times though if I'm looking for good reliable photos, I'm grabbing my iPhone.

I have both. They are both good. Personally for photos I still slightly prefer the s21u (snapdragon)
@Just Pets I don't do a lot of video. I think the iPhone is probably a bit more consistent though the Samsung is no slouch.

For raw photos, use expert raw app from galaxy store. It works perfectly on the s21 ultra
