But here's the thing, that would pretty much be a software thing. I just recently switched from the S21 Ultra to the 13 Pro Max. In my opinion, there’s no comparison in the two. The S21 Ultra camera is much better. I found myself using the 10x zoom feature more than I realized. Using the iPhone has made me realize how much I miss that phone.
@@thomassoares5844 One UI at least gives you the option to alter the layout and choose other launchers. With iOS, you essentially “get what you get.” If you like cutting edge technology with a ton of options, go with the S21. If you want a simplistic approach, then go with iOS.
I agree. As the phones are slowly taking over the dedicated camera market, photos from an actual dedicated camera should be helpful in the comparison to see who is getting closer each time 👍🏻
I was watching shorts and then just your google and siri comparision video came and now I am addicted to your channel, I love how you express all the functions of the phones 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I switched back to iPhone from the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra because I just miss the ease of use, reliability, integration etc that iOS offers. I’ve compared the cameras quite a bit since I still have the Xiaomi for now. Sometimes the photos are pretty comparable and most of the time the iPhone gets the colours more accurate but overall I still think the Xiaomi has the better camera system. It takes sharper, more visually pleasing photos and the zoom is really impressive. The iPhone is a bit more reliable with focus though, probably because of the LiDAR system and it still can take better photos than the Xiaomi in certain situations. It’s definitely no slouch but I still wish I could slap the Xiaomi setup onto the iPhone. Given the trade off, I’ll still take the iPhone and iOS. Hopefully Apple will get a bit more adventurous with its cameras in the coming years.
I dropped my phone and cracked a little part of the LiDAR and I’ve noticed that my phone has a tough time focusing a lot more often since I never had that issue before
Even without the Note in the second half of the year, Samsung still managed to impress us and compete with the nextgen iPhones. It just shows how the Galaxy S21 Ultra aged very well.
competing with next gen iphones isnt hard. you can buy the most expensive huawei, one plus and it will compete. problem is that you need to buy iphone pro atleast. to compete with s21
The thing is apple doesn’t compete with Samsung. Apple just makes everything work better than androids. That’s a fact, yea it may take them a while to come out with a feature but, when it does come out , it’s very polished. Apple has a huge fan base in USA it doesn’t matter if android comes out with so many features. Apple just does it better and that’s from me always switching back and forth to android and Samsung. With that being said the iPhone 12 Pro max I have was very disappointing when it came to picture taking, so much noise and was just not good… this iPhone 13 pro looks 10x better than last year.
@@toptiertech7291 No, It was supposed to compete with the Note not the S21. The S21 is already 9 months old and it beat the iPhone. iPhone costs less because it recycled the same body and design leading to lower R and D costs and much more profits.
I would definitely be curious to see a comparison when the new pixels get released. New camera modules along with Google's almighty processing. Good times indeed for mobile photography
@UCxLx7_2UA06CmAcxnRRMsqg Considering iPhone 13 Pro Max is newer that S21 Ultra and plus lacks on many things I wouldn't say so, and what this guy said was comparing the new Pixel phone that is coming and incase u don't know Google's image processing is better than any other company
Why is it that no one focuses on creating a good selfie camera for video? Even many high level vloggers are now using phones to record, and it’s nice to be able to check that you’re well framed.
allow me to introduce you... foldables phones. zflip, zfold, matex fold... etc can use their main camera for selfie. Their where also dual screen phones from nubia and zte that had a screen on the back but they didn't make sequel. Also their's the xiaomi flagship with a small screen on the back but it might be hard to frame yourself with it. Anyway, there are options at differents price point.
@@Natsukashii1111 the Xiaomi phone is the closest to what I'd like to see. As someone who works in construction, the folding phones are just too fragile.
@@NicESpurling foldables are surprisingly sturdy since you can drop them and they would be fine, but yeah, if you drop your phone in paint, it wouldn't be as easy to wash as a normal phone. I have a friend at my workplace that did that with his phone, his charging port is dead but he can still charge wirelessly so it's fine, paint might clog the hinge on foldable phone even if the phone itself would survive...
While Arun is doing some important tests with the two phones and speaking some important information, I'm just zoning out, vibing to the banger music in the background.
Wow that was fast. I really have been enjoying your content lately. Fast paced, to the point and a tinge of jokes. What more could I ask for? thanks for the video!
You call Samsung's warmer tone fake in some shots but when it comes to the iphone then it's more realistic! How that thing works? Not fair bro, do not disappoint me 😅
If the iPhone 13 Pro Max is this good on release (still not upon several software updates and refreshes), imagine how great it will be in 6-10 months of updates and new features! The battle was very tight of a just-released phone against a phone that was released more than 8 months ago...
Both phones are impressively good; it just comes down to what specific camera feature the consumer wants. And thank you for the very detailed comparison. No one does it better than you do. ❤️
I've never used an iPhone in my life however, I must admit that the cameras are beautiful. Too bad they are terribly overpriced here in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹. Keep up the good work and hope to watch many more of your amazing videos.
@@DeathPerMinute the price ranges from 12-14 thousand dollars for the pro and pro max models. And that's just for the entry level storage 128GB. Prices are crazy here.
Scares me. Imagine robots holding their own bank accounts and making money for people, being like a slave for a few thousand people in massive AI and tech companies, possibly others too (retailers esp amazon, military, etc.)
What does it even mean? If it's a color not percieved by your eyes then it's not realistic. In a photo you're usually trying to replicate what your eyes are seeing, if you wanted a fully realistic image you should consider all wavelengths, but the photo will be awful.
What is better if my goal is self taping/video? I like to SEE what I'm shooting while I'm shooting it. Which camera is better for using it or this objective? Second order of importance is taking photos of myself, mostly headshots.
I feel like the iPhones camera focuses more on the features the people would use the most, wether Samsung has lots of features for people who like to experiment. For normal daily use, I prefer the iPhone, even tho I wish it had a bit more optical zoom.
I just wish Iphone would stop playing it safe.... They just don't push the boundaries to be first anymore Remember This a comparison with Last years Samsung The new one is about to drop soon.
@@UltimateTViptv they’re smart. They keep updating and perfecting the existing features they have that they do better than anyone else while they let other phones do the experimenting and market research in new features for them so they essentially get it for free to see where development for those features is at and if consumers even care about them or if they do, is it ready to be a reliable and actually good feature yet. Then if the answer is yes, they work on it themselves for a couple years to make it high quality and working like you expect it to on an iPhone before they release it on their phones. They don’t really need that “wow, world’s first blank” factor anymore because they’ve made such a big name for themselves and have the industry standard for overall smartphone quality and user experience. So even if they don’t have those experimental worlds first features, people will still get the iPhone instead because it’s so reliable and is so good at doing everything it’s designed to do better than every other phone. And if that feature is good and people like it and it’s is useful and makes sense, then they’ll try to work it into the iPhone a year or 2 down the line once the software and useability of that feature is at the level you’d expect it to be on an iPhone
@@TheJerseyNinja I know what they are doing, but back in the day iphones were the first phones with everything. Now they are 4 years behind everybody, and not all their features "are the best" Just to iphone users cause they are stuck in their own iphone world. The video just proved it ... I left iphone years ago and never went back. I watch every launch only to be let down again and again. Macro that's cute Samsung had that already, bigger sensors nice but Samsung been there did that, adaptive 120 hz been there done that... etc etc. They make a pro that isn't pro at all. The push the boundaries with their ipads, and Mac just not the iphones
I would definitely go for the Samsung. I been struggling with HDR in my current phone and since I'm not a fan of making videos, I would definitely survive with Samsung's one.
@Joe honestly, one of the biggest reasons im gonna go with samsung is because im familiar with samsung. There are features that apple dominates samsung over, but I personally use most of the features samsung wins at. But I understand why most would go with the iPhone
@@LukeyWolf it’s Samsung latest generation till January and it still has the second latest 888 chipset. Not talking about exynos. So to call this last generation would be wrong. It’s still 4-5 months left till s22.
