I just realized her guns in this anime are different than the ones she has in game. They have the same style as Love is Blue
Not really... Love is Blue seems to be like Jeanne's chunkier guns, but Elfin Knight is Slimmer, longer. Just brittle.
It actually is from some concept art if you look it up it looks really similar
Elfin Knight is basically a weaker version of Scarborough Fair which she replaced with Love is Blue and as of the new game Colour My World.

Imagine if they had Elfin Knight as DLC weapons for Bayonetta 1 & 2. I wonder how Wicked and Infernal Weaves would work with those.
they would be the 2nd worst weapons in the game after the handguns, like they’d have the same visual effects as Scarborough Fair, but the guns have different sounds when firing and they do half of SF’s damage.
Not to mention that Jeanne can easily break them without a sweat 😅
They got destroyed with just 1 spar so... I don't know if they are any good

well, it should make sense that game scenes are better than the anime's cuz anime is commonly just for promotion
Because the game came out before the anime and its easier to animate and move a 3d model than it is to draw 1000+ frames OVER AND OVER again 😐

At the end there, you can almost hear Bayonetta’s “Bruh”.
Movie was OK. While I'm glad they got the same english voices too, kind of wished they did a new side story other than retelling the first game. Though one key scene I did like not shown in the game was the bath scene.

FUNNY CHARACTERIZATION I NOTICED: It's not as telltale in the first game, but Bayonetta's sensuality and sadism takes centre stage here in the anime. Something to note especially with Bayonetta 3 on the horizon. (Granted... I play the first game a lot. Maybe I'm desensitized.)

I second to this, such an overlooked series and ignore the haters who dislike the 2005 adaptation for not being as violent as the first one. Although i think the guyver OVA did alot better with the pacing and had a much better and interesting soundtracks imo.

WTF are those pistols? For those who don't know, Bayonetta uses custom Derringer Remingtons in the first game, which have 2 barrels each. But these only have one barrel each. Who dropped the ball there?
The Scarborough Fair (the proper guns) come in later in the movie as well as a few of the games other weapons

@@MetaGamingDojo Bayonetta 2 is not a port, it's exclusive to the Switch, Bayo1 is though it was a PS3 exclusive , but no one wanted to pay the studio for Bay2 so Nintendo gave millions to Platnium to develop it for them so Bayonetta 2 released exclusively to the Switch/Wii U . Millions of PC users and Xbawx and Sony Playstationers raged and whined like babies that they couldn't play Bayonetta 2 and to this day I dont know if Bay2 is released on them.
