1:34 Something wrong in there. They should throw the flag to the air when raising the PRC's flag.
But, the PRC was already lose civil war.
It's different ceremony. It's not formal Chinese flag raising ceremony, it's handover ceremony. Therefore, no need to throw the PRC's flag. Check 1997 Hongkong's Handover. It's the same
It's a formal handover ceremony. That would've been disrespectful and arrogant.

😤NO way!!! No to Portuguese!

Brener Almeida why is it sad?Can you Explain?Portugal was extremely unpopular in Macau amongst the common people
Its sad to see our empire loosing domains. Portugal needs to rule again!
We have a lot of chinese people here building markets.
Brener Almeida Yet it’s like saying Britain’s Empire shall rise again. Why would you want an empire that treated others under your rule as second class or not even human beings
The dependent British Colonies stills being rich countries for example: Australia, Canada, New Zealand. Every country were better in colonial times without the false feeling of freedom or independence. Now Macau is a China slave like Brazil, Angola and Mozambique stills needs massive international support from USA or also Portugal. Nobody was treated like second class by Portugal in Macau, we're even more compassionate than the chinese and I can affirm that without any fear. The chinese government is a socialist dictatorship and Portugal is a democracy.
