Yet they count Nazi deaths as "victims of communism", civilian deaths of the vietnam war started by the US as "victims of communism", lower fertility rates as "victims of communism" and so on. If we use the same standard to the US or capitalism in general, the death toll will be much much higher than just 100 million.
Under global capitalism, all economic activities are driven by profit. Dispite having enough food (agricultural) production, millions of people in the third world die of starvation, while tons of food were thrown into the rubbish bin in the "developed world". That is because it is not profitable for capitalist corporations to feed the poor. Instead, it is more profitable to overexploit the third world. Also, with the endless war and political instability in the third world supported by the US to maintain the status quo, how many people do you think it killed?
