Who discovered? St. Lucian people let's build up our island and agriculture. Tourism should not be the main focus. To see this just shows how we literally have been selling out our lands from time to the same people who enslaved our ancestors...smh. Wake up Jah people!!!
I agree!!! Its about time we kick these people out and start building the island for the benefit of the people *first!* And I believe it starts with people taking Allen Chastanet out of office because his main focus is to line his pockets and that of the foreign "investors". Black people need to realise that white people are *not* our allies and never have been!!! What Prime Minister turns down the opportunity to have a university, delays production of a hospital, etc. A Prime Minister that *wants* to keep the people uneducated, deprived and at a total disadvantage to the white people who continue to steal from innocent people.
@@FirstNameLastName-gz6fd Yes. Well said. Change starts within also. We as a people need to invest our money and energy in projects that build us and the island. Become more business minded so we have a foot to stand on when we demand that the government changes. Give thanks for your comment. Bless up

Bunch of lies. This are was never developed and remains the same to this day. Hopefully It WILL NEVER CHANGE. The club was subsequently built in another location and today has been replaced by the Royalton Resorts. It's sickening that every beach in this island is being targeted for a hotel development at the expense of local access.
The airstrip is now called Vigie Airport extended now to about 1 mile long. takes larger planes now. There is a road alongside the north of the airport strip which heads to the end of the Vigie Peninsular. All this was 60 years ago.
Sorry Mr. Guard, but watch again. This is even more spectacular. There actually was an air strip at Grande Anse itself as is clear in the video that potential developers used to visit and survey the property. Amazing.
Thanks for the clarification. I got confused. I guess I'm too young to realize this:-) just kidding. Amazing an airstrip existed at Grande Anse. North East of the island. Sorry to disperse assumed info on my part.
Club St. Lucia definitely happened, but not on that site. This video refers to Grand Anse which is on the east coast and is still undeveloped. Club St. Lucia was built on the North West coast in Cap Estate. Yes it is now called Almond Smugglers Cove.
luvmantlucian Sorry but the airstrip shown is at Grande Anse where this project should have happened as clearly shown in the video. It has long been abandoned but the outline of it remains at Grande anse.

Wow!! Most of what they said didn’t happen.
Wonderful.
smugglers Cove is on a better calmer beach on the west. Yes. the north east coast is still not developed with beautiful land.
$3950 a share! Crazy!

Lol Club St. Lucia? It happened.
The airstrip is where Les Sport is now. Club St. Lucia is now Almond Smugglers Cove.
