No island in the Caribbean is self-sufficient and that is why we are always asking the CBD and the European Bank for money. Look at the example of Dominica and BVI after Hurricane.
St Lucia is a developing nation, it makes improvement every year. It dosent need to stay a colony to improve. Ppl in those colonies countries may look nice and developed but the ppl r in the same position as the 1s that got independence trust me💯
