Totally like your videos and channel, keep up the great content and keep up the great videos. I did my lower unit impeller last week after I watched your video and the lower unit went in just like yours did unbelievable no problems whatsoever. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Tx USA 🇺🇸
Looked under the console to install some valves and lines to be able to drain the tank so I can always keep fresh fuel but I just mounted a two bank battery charger in the way. The clamp was a life saver!
You are a good mechanic sir. Thanks so much. I just got me a Boston Whaler with a 2009 Suzuki 90 and your two videos are REAL doggone helpful. Can’t thank you enough. In fact, where you at in Louisiana? I’m in Church Point. I feel like I need to be buying you a beer brother!
great video, thou I disagree on using a motor oil to lube up the o-rings. You should use a non-petroleum lubricant so it does not react with the rubber. Silicone lube is one alternative
I order them online. Marine outboard parts . com, you can enter your serial number and see a schematic of your motor to ensure you get the right parts.
@@SRadigFishingI open the tap to drain. How come I could not stop it draining even after I closed the tap. I am looking around on the internet to see if that is normal before I prime it. Is that normal? Thanks.
How often are you suppose to change the fuel filter? Mine is at 2 year mark but with very low hours ~35 hrs, should I change mine or give it another year?
I try to change them every 4 years because I do about 100 hours a year on mine. I think you would be fine for another year. I just want to make sure the element doesn't break down and clog injectors.
Dear Sir, I need to now, fuel hose diameter of Suzuki 300 Hp outboard motor. From fuel tank to filter and from filter to fuel tank. I am highly appreciate, if you can reply.

Thank you very much for taking the time to shoot a video. If I fix my issue I will also shoot a video to show others.
Love the trick using the woodworking clamps to pinch off the line!

Way down in Plaquemines Parish, hope to see you on the water. This is my first Suzuki and I love it!
Very thorough, easy to follow thanks for the videos.
Now we need to take that thing out and run it, say maybe down to the state park area!!!
I was planning on camping a bunch this fall at Grand Isle State Park, guess those plans are on hold for now!
Great video, thanks. Any chance of doing a thermostat replacement?
Will do in the future, thanks for the recomendation.

Thanks for the tip.
Very good video! 👍
Excellent video. By the way do you order your parts online or buy from a dealer?

Awesome video man. I learned alot.

After changing the water separator filter do you need to prime it?
I fill the new canister with gas before installing.

Only thing i can say is might be debris in the drain?@@JT-jy2sy
@@SRadigFishing I was a knob , I was turning in the wrong direction. Unscrewed to turn off. Thanks anyway!
Forgot to mention reverse thread, glad it worked out.@@JT-jy2sy
When I bought my boat, the sales guy stressed over and over to change that perpetrator filter regularly.
how did you prime the fuel back into the water fuel separator and motor once you put it all back together~!
I filled the filter assembly screwing back on, this was enough to keep a prime when I started the motor.

@@TimeToEatTheBait many thanks!
Why didn't you replace the high pressure filter too?
Couldn't find one locally before I made the video.
Why wouldn’t you have just drained the fuel from the small drain on the fuel water separator? Just curious
Drain felt stuck and I didn't want to break it off.
@@SRadigFishing well my friend that’s a damn good reason

I wish I could help you out with this but I can only guess the correct size. If I can locate a 300 locally I will try to get the measurements for you.
What grade of fuel do you run in your df90?
I run non ethanol 87 to 89 octane regular gas. Never had any problems with the fuel. I always keep the tank full to help prevent condensation.
When I start the Suzuki engine it gets hot. Although I changed la turbine
Only thing I can think of is it could be the thermostat is stuck.
@@SRadigFishing I changed a new thermostat but same problem
@@bouhitemkamel Wish I could help but not sure of the heating cause.
