Enjoyed this immensely. Blood Harmony will never be matched. These guys knew their music and knew how they wanted it arranged. Their deliveries were spot on. Love and miss them and the variety entertainment shows of those times.

On "Lonely Weekends" as far as I know, this is the best performance (better than recorded version). I love Don's voice here, which rings out well, especially in the part of "... I make it alright !". Of course Phil's doin' out so much, n both voices are tightly blended.

Phil’s soaring tenor voice was so sweet… Don’s lead tenor-baritone so sexy… and both so very handsome - Don’s profile has gotta be the most beautiful ever.

Just listen to Phil and that beautiful harmony.
I used to live for shows like “Hullabaloo”, “Shindig”, and “American Bandstand”. Besides listening to the radio, those shows were a way to keep up with the new music.

Steve Lawrence was good… but he can’t compare with the gorgeousness and genius that is the Everly Brothers. And for me, this is Don at his most handsome - and that’s saying something, considering how beautiful he was right through his 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond…
Comparing apples and oranges - Steve was a totally different kind of singer, but blended in beautifully!
