Having so much trouble with this pattern! Can’t keep the rope from smacking the back of my legs after bringing it over. I figure it has something to do with my hand positions but just can’t get it. 😟
Thank you! After 3 videos, I found yours and can finally do it! The key that I hadn’t gotten from the others is the weight shift - lunge and lean back. My first flow worked when I started on the back foot lunging forward, because that’s where I was getting stuck before. Thank you! Yippee!
What took me a little bit to figure out was thinking about line of the swing going sideways in front and back. Doing the drag, roll flip slowly it always hits my legs. I had trouble getting past that. When concentrated on sideways and not putting my hands too close together I can finally get it. This one seems to also involve chest placement more than previous beginner tricks I have been learning. Thanks for the video.
I DID IT. Great tutorial. Maybe it was the combination of many fails and leaving it alone for about a week, but I felt like your explanation did the trick!
Hi sir Luke...when are you coming to Indonesia?😊 because I need to practice directly to meet you so I can understand better and if there is a wrong movement you can immediately correct my position
Hi Kristen! There's a link to the app in the description. Unfortunately, I don't currently have full rope flow sessions on the app, but I'm in the process of filming and editing so hoping they will be ready in the next month or so. I'll keep you updated!
Could you be a little more specific with the hand positions and the second half of the swing. I can tell you are switching the grip and the throw of the rop e a bit but how??
I'm thinking of starting my flow rope journey. What kind og rope do u recommend? Nice video btw. I have regular ropes i used for my jumping, but i couldn't stop because it was fun but my ancles got fucked. So this is something you can practice as much as u like since ur not jumping? Will it carry over to regular jumprope you think ?
The octomoves ones are good, or You can knock up a diy version. It’s definitely lower impact than regular jump rope but won’t necessarily transfer over to it. Different patterns, but I think has more transfer over to other sports and movement patterns 1 running, throwing, striking etc
Hope this helps! Let me know down here if there are any other movements you'd like me to break down 👇
hands down THE best tutorial i've seen so far. THANK YOU for doing this so well!
Thank you friend, that's great to hear!
Kudos for properly giving credit

Sir Luke, what would be the Best Music to listen to while flowing? I am still new so I am still learning the basics and I think music might help.
Anything that you enjoy listening to!
