Skool.com/thestrongerhuman has the free course along with guides on what ropes to grab! I really hope you guys give this practice a shot, shoot any questions you have in the comments! As mentioned, I made a full FREE foundations course that will get you comfortable with the rope in the next 4 weeks. No joke, I think this will be life changing for a lot of you (as it has been for me). Orrrr maybe I'm just lost in the flow sauce
I’ve been flowing for 3 years. Advanced ropeflow gives you superior agility and coordination. I coach student athletes and I leave them shaking their heads when I demonstrate ropeflow. Definitely underrated!
Absolute truth. Have been doing it every day for 2 years. My back pain is not gone but i am moving better and know that I can be pain free while using the rope. It also gives me hope of conquering my back pain. All part of the journey. Every step stronger!
I was so stoked to see you not only cover this but find out that you're doing it everyday! Finding rope flow has been the missing link that has tied a lot of things together for me. I use it for 1-2 of my zone 2 sessions each week. I love the fact that I can work on my upper body mobility, get into a flow state, get some sunlight and grounding all at the same time. Not to mention that unlike most cardio (running, rowing, biking), there is ZERO lower body interference. It's just fantastic and I'm thrilled to see a big youtuber like you giving this some shine!
Besides using those you could also get some extra flow and benefits by strengthening the wrists through flowing with clubs and maces. One thing you will notice when you use steel clubs is that your grip around people's wrists and ankles gets so much stronger
I ordered a Flow Rope during the lockdown (when shipping worldwide slowed to a crawl). By the time it arrived (2 months later) I'd totally lost interest in it and was all-in on kettlebells. Time to dig it out of the closet...
@@danielpartington.xtremecore I did, kind of. Frustrated by 2 things: the lightness of the rope I've got and my clumsiness - not necessarily in that order. ;)

Poi allows you to do more movements=more fun. You can make a clip end and change the weight at the end too. Staff spinning is great for mobility too. Devil sticks are my main juggling toy, great for hand\eye coordination and general light workout, lots of fast springy movement chasing that thing around. Footwork is hugely important for sticking. After 20 years of playing my feet do all sorts of things I don't have to think about in order to the stick with a refined control at high speed.
this is basically bridging the gap between resistance training and flow arts (make the rope an string LED you basically end up with a giant led wall). super cool.
This is flipping awesome! I use a yoga strap to help w/ alignment for the warrior series. The heavy rope is ideal for that. I use a hiking staff for figure 8’s. The throwing exercise reminds me of a shepherd’s sling. Please post another video breaking down some of the advanced moves. Breath-Balance-Form-Focus. Thanks for the inspiration!
Small things like this is what I look for. Body mechanics. How can I use the human body especially with our physical limitations to be better at my movements. I think specifically this could help understanding of torque into striking. The spine and hips is very important in generating power from short distances, in kung fu it’s called fa jin. This movement helps show you fa jin.
@@nsimaInyang yes that’s what I mean, the hip and spine movement teaches you to whip in your strikes, be it kicks or punches or even takedowns with more efficient power. Great recomendations but I'm not sure where you get "it's entirely preventable" from! Backpain can be prevented by improving strength, fitness, and lifestyle habbits, but not ENTIRELY, some backpain is caused by things that are not optional like genetics, autoimmune disorders, traumatic injuries, over exercising for sport, spinal infections, all sorts of things other simply being sedentary! For everyone else who is unable to entirely prevent back pain, keep doing what you can! Movement truly can make a huge difference to quality of life even if you can't prevent back pain (or any other pain).

@NsimaInyang thanks Nsima! I'll check your site, but if the order ships from the US and not from within the EU, it will be burdensome. If I do make it DIY, how long should it be?
I reckon this can be achieved as well to some extent trhu nunchaku, staff, rope dart and meteorhammer, as well, right? :) If you emphasise on the spinning patterns. Generally, I think it's nice to move diversely and thus keep the spine and back moving, animal crawls, locomotion patterns nad such. :)
Sir, this is amazing I practice POI flow and am thinking about an intermidiate flow/strength program with slightly weigthed POIs havent seen any1 try it. @@nsimaInyang yessss. Love that you get it hahaha Honestly, really want to get into rope flow now. It looks like this will restore mobility in my midback and lower back as well. Got SI issues like a mfer so it took me out of training muay thai. Hoping this gets me back in the game.
do you have a tutorial video on how to make DIY rope. Like can I go to a hardware store or ask a friend that owns a boat to give me a rope they don't use. Like how much should it way how long should it be relative to my body.
In the group I do, join it in the description of the video. You can get 10-11 feet of rope from Home Depot for 11 bucks or so. The heaviness and quality of the ropes isn’t the same as what I have in my site, but it’s something that will help you get started 👊🏾.
Thank you. I went out and bought a rope off Amazon. Fell in love with the exercise immediately. But question. The rope I have seems a little long. How to you optimize the length for your height. I 5'10" so didn't expect the rope I ordered to be long...or at least seems too long. I think this is must for some one mid-50s who want to accident proof themselves.
I think you can do the same thing with (shadow)boxing? When you make upercuts in a fluid continues way it's almost the same movement you make with the ropes.
It absolutely is, there’s a martial aspect to the rope. A main difference of the rope vs normal shadow boxing is the momentum that the rope provides. As you do it, you’ll improve at following the flow and momentum of the rope. That’s where the decompression benefits come from. It also teaches the person practicing how to shift weight. Of course you can do this in shadow boxing, but it’s not something that comes natural to many, and it’s a hard thing to learn if you’re not an athlete.

Record and mesh let's say an hour of this with a calm zen or cool track on background, for doing chores and having a sandwich people play and keep doing what they doing, then leave your products links and monetize it. The rope Flow indeed looks fancy and it's totally a content video.
this looks primo for getting forms down in boxing. I can def see this as practice to master a Dempsey roll or something.

@@nsimaInyang yessss. Love that you get it hahaha
Honestly, really want to get into rope flow now.
@@nsimaInyang Just what I wanted to know...
You can tie a knot in your rope
Bro the last thing I want is “IT” with you. Much respect
I love this rope workout my brother, also I subscribed to your channel. 😇😇😇
Thanks for subbing, and I hope you get after it!
Did this yesterday for the first time with a jump rope (I cant even jump rope idk what I'm doing wrong), but it was amazing and fun
YES! Pumped for you!
@@nsimaInyangthank you! I ordered a rope so I'm super excited to expand on it asap
hey big bro you have a very cool name and respect the grind a lot
Tell em brother!
Yes, here come the master yoda of rope flow. So glad it become more mainstream.
👊🏾👊🏾
Thank you 🙏🏼 SUBSCRIBED!
You’re welcome!
That looks cool! How heavy and how long should be the rope?
Love the videos, what do you have for possibly bad rotator cuff/shoulder
The rope is actually great for that haha
@@nsimaInyang ok I'm going to try it
How long is the rope at 2:19? Thanks 🙂
Maybe 9 feet?
