Haha so many one liners and puns that make us English viewers fall off our chairs with laughter while Christian makes working on a landrover like a comedy show. You both are so creative and entertaining. The peal of bells at the end of the video was a calling to landrover owners in the local town to bring their broken cars to LR Time for repair. Well done to you both. You've made my Sunday a happy one
It’s what Sunday mornings were made for. It makes me want to buy a broken Land Rover and just rock up at your door with it. I love Vera’s channel and her little helper Christian.
Danke, Danke, Danke, I am sitting here in OZ trying to sort through the utter crap that is on TV in the hope of finding a program that is even mildly amusing, to no avail. Then I open RUclips and find that you have made my Sunday night immensely enjoyable when your video popped up about the 2 hour and 2 problem repair. You are certainly Master class in what you do. Good on ya mate 👏👏🇦🇺
The moment I heard the church bell rang (around 15:40), my heart jumped out of my chest and beat so fast...this scenery of your surrounding reminds me of my childhood home where I grew up, suddenly felt so nostalgic and almost made me cry, missing it so much. Thank you, Christian and Vera. Lot of love from here. Rgrds, a/d
I got the first comment hooray! Greetings from Australia, Sunday afternoon here. Got my popcorn ready. Toyota drivers have to do everything with one hand because they are holding a beer in the other hand.
There can never be too many EGR valve videos! Can you post a link for your Swiss watch ratchet spanner, please. You guys deserve an Order of the British Empire award from King Charles for services to Land Rover.
You 2 are hilarious, you have such a Land Rover sense of humour! I have a series 2 currently but will be getting a series 3 as soon as I find one with the exact specification I want, so I’ve watched a lot of your videos and they are all a perfect combination of accurate factual information and brilliant humour! I think you should get a Toyota one day and launch a spin-off RUclips channel called Toyota time where you just upload videos of you week after week having nothing to do!!!
Try use this Swiss watch tool on your exhaust oil change. Remember every 6k Land Rover require exhaust oil change. It so mysterious thing like the haggis roaming on glens
Hello Vera, hello Christian, I hope that you're fine. Another great video, thank you. I have a question, and it is a bit off-topic: Car ramps, this yellow car ramps, where we can purchase them? They looks very solid. Regards, Greg
Like many others I do look forward to Sunday for your video on Land Rover discoveries repairs Me a Toyota driver vdjdualcab v8 diesel Keep up the good work Ainsley from Australia
Can’t miss my LR Time screening. Vera we all like it when a woman uses her hands! Particularly as Christian just can’t get it in. That family rating must be at risk😅
@@rvarsigfusson6163me too on my Disco4 2.7 , egr blanking kit and software remap (gap tool needed) . I’ve done that 2 year ago and I don’t have any problem. I think if you make a lots of km in city traffic, you will have a problem with DPF.

EGR Wedge, 😂😂😂, €98 sounds like a bargain, maybe you could sell a 3d printing design for a smidgeon less and we could print our own? Another wonderful episode full of so much innuendo Kenneth Williams would have been proud. Oh no missus!

Seeing that coolant manifold makes me worry about mine. It’s never been changed on my car in 16 years. I have a new one in a box waiting but I also don’t like fixing things that aren’t broken! Great episode. Now I have to wait another week though which is too long.
Oh wow this video was hilariously amusing. All the double entendres about getting it back in and changing positions - in Australia it is 11:15pm and I have upset my neighbour from repeatedly bursting out laughing😂😂😂. So love you two Christian and Vera.
Watching you undoing those fiddly screws with your long double extensions puts me in mind of delicate endoscopic surgery. Well done! I knew a surgeon who could wallpaper his hallway through his letter box. Is that the church where you go and pray after LR repairs which I think you advised doing?
There is a section in our church reserved for LR drivers. Visitors can sit there quietly and pray and light candles in case of engine failures. Sometimes there is a line and you have to wait a bit before you get in. Christian
Christian, why are playing around wir the Lion V6 when you have the skills and machines to create a swap engine kit you can make many owners happy and you much money
He is just a great Mechanic love your vids do you think you should let Vera do a repair on a Land Rover why you film her, I'm sure she would be able to do it now, she as watched so many repairs bless her, thanks guys
If I didn’t know any better, I would think you are deliberately sabotaging these vehicles just so that you can make entertaining and informative RUclips videos. But because these vehicles are Land Rovers, I can rest easy in the knowledge that this is not the case!

Fantastic, innuendo’s galore and so subtle loved the video, i have had both BMW & “JLR” vehicles and i can safely say that a BMW has a place for everything and everything is in its place whilst a “JLR” has a place for everything and everything held in place by sponge, from an old LR4 owner 😀👍
Hello Vera and Christian Did you know for Australian Landrover owners they use Water Manifold Upgrade from Axiom and is made from solid aluminum? Rolf from Portugal
I really enjoy the videos you and Vera do, technical, informative, lighthearted, great stuff. Cheers from Miami FL. BTW, In case you're unaware, here in the states Toyota has been using 0w-16 and filters are not much bigger shot glass!
I NOW have sdv6 2015, 125000km, but my tdv6 2010 2.7 has egr faults I ordered blanks but maybe you can tell me if i need to update ECU , thanks for your video people interesting, you made the operation without disconecting AC pipes
So you had these parts on hand or did you have an idea before hand and ordered them? Either way, you make it look a lot easier to fix than it really is!
We inspected the vehicle a couple of days before. Then I order everything double to have it on hand. Joachim’s is the same as Veras so we have most parts on hand. Christian
Now come on guys, you could have taken the body off! It’s not as if you don’t know how to do so, is it? It would have made the job so much easier and Vera could have then used the EGR wedge to help light her fire. And you would have finished the job so much sooner that Vera would not have become so hungry, either. I also noticed that you use red, cherry flavoured coolant, whereas I tend to use the blue bubblegum flavour in mine. But sometimes the green, lime flavoured version, because I find the cherry flavour too sweet for my taste. However, if you mix them all up, it ends up as a purple, black cherry version, which in my opinion tastes rather sour😮. Apparently, once upon a time, Austrian wine had so much Glycol in it, you could have used that as antifreeze coolant. When the engines warmed up, it didn’t exactly taste quite like Gluhwein. I always preferred jägertee, anway!
I did EGR delete on my 2007 RRS in 2011. Blanking plate and all hoses off etc. So far my RRS 2012 has not had any issues with EGR …. Touch wood… but will blank it off if and when it happens.
If a spring fits easily, it's mounted wrong.... I been wrenching away today on my 1968 Landrover. When my first daughter was born I was going to rebuild the engine, she is now 18 and I got the truck started with the newly rebuilt engine last week so a tad slower than you guys!
Christian, you know you look like a proper surgeon with all your long tools right? 💪. Yet another entertaining video. Who ever said that Germans don't make jokes 🙈
Great video you both, back to the good old days. I did the repair in my coolant manifold about 2 years ago. Simple easy and only require a few tools. Also, didn’t need to drain the coolant, it was already below the level of the leak 😂 As far I remember the manual says not to use any grease in the o-rings (which in my case came with the part). To make easier to assemble I just used a little of the coolant itself. EGR wedge was great idea. I blanked my with 5 cent coin and drove 2000km in a “emergency” 😄🙈 Looking forward for the next video.
Reminds me of a car I had a while back (was a Rover or Land Rover) where I found the end from the EGR valve in the inlet pipe....the problem was that the EGR valve already had an end attached to it so this was an extra one! I don't think it had been replaced previously.

Those little Wera 1/4” sets with the mini ratchet are great. Proper German engineering….unlike the LR it was used on 😂
Love it, after selling our beloved 2006 lr3. We are going to start to look for another one
Have they restarted the Carry On film series? Carry On Christian and Vera!

What are your thoughts on a EGR delete if it was legal? I have hear both good and bad but those opinions are not always data driven.

How would this EGR been done on the 3,6 twin turbo engine in LR.
Or are you looking for a 3,6 to make it better................
Been a mechanic for 35 years. I know you have to laugh whilst working on a JLR otherwise you will cry or put yourself in a early grave.
10/10 For your workmanship and entertainment !
The repairs are good but, the video's are comedy gold. 😂
I’d like an EGR wedge for 98 euro. I love they are taking the p*ss out of their own car. So funny
Great infotainment guys. Loved it when Vera discreatly dropped the “f” 💣. ❤ LR Time Sundays.
