Do they ever shut the fuck up 😩
Seriously... horrible interviewers... can't stand that interruption shit!

Thats why i dont like drink champs to much interruptions it never fails
IKR? Search was looking like; "Man would you STFU!"
Apparently dude didn’t get the memo when you do an “ interview “ you let the person talk.

Nore really gotta work on that.

As I'm watching Drink Champs I'm CONSTANTLY saying "Nore shut the fuck up and let them speak!"
Dang, these hosts don't let Serch finish his story, lol
It was so irritating.
So annoying
NORE cuts him off at the worst time. Supet loud too. Almost felt like Serch was gonna give up on tellin his story Nd say Go HEAD NORE.... TELL IT FOR ME..
This clip is the perfect example why I don’t watch drink champs. 😂😂😂😂😂 NORE DONT LET THE GUEST TALK.

It was bumpin at parties
Facts
Dude ...the beastie boys were way more influential in hip hop than 3rd base ever thought of being
Considering that the beastie boys were put on by Rick Rubin, I think they had a much different journey than third bass. Never mind hip-hop, the beastie boys were the biggest influence in all of the music, as far as hip-hop goes, MC Serch biggest influence was helping to produce Nas someone who probably is as big a figure in hip-hop, than third bass and the beastie boys put together.
@@yell0wberry I would take his Nas stories with a grain of salt
Beastie Boys are influential, but so are 3rd Bass. I wish they would've had a longer career as a group, but they were both originally solo artists who were put together to work as a group. They both seem a bit egotistical, so it was kinda doomed from the start. Beasties on the other hand, grew up together as we all know
@@laramiejames7895 I think if anything was off base about Serch's Nas stories, he would have either said something in an interview or Serch would have correct himself. Snoop told a Tupac story with Nas involved for a couple years and then finally Nas came out and corrected him on some things. He would have no problem with saying Serch is wrong about something.
True 💯
I respect MC Serch and his 90s hip hop purist mentality. But that “New York City or nothing” mentality has hurt the city ever since 💯
Yup that's why they fell

Classic New Yorker with big stories that turn out to be 10% truths lol this man needs to stop embellishing his importance to the game of hip hop. Hammers album did more for hip-hop overall than 3rd bass did on their best project. Millions of records sold as opposed to a million stories fabricated will stand the test of time
Right! You can tell this dude is bitter!
MC Hammer was a terrible rapper but a great entertainer. Your revisionist history is straight clown shit. Eminem name dropped 3rd Bass in his HOF speech. He didn't mention record sells. That's always the weakest argument spewed by dudes that don't know rap/hip hop.
He tried to tell you the Hammer story but you wouldn’t let him
Please have MC Hammer on!! 🔨
Why? It's not like he'll be able to get a word in.
That's a great idea! Would love to see Hammer on here. I heard Too $hort and Redman talk about his history a bit and he solidified
LET SERCH TALK!
Mc hammer is real OG
Nore never shuts the eff up. Let him finish
Nore be straight interrupting conversations! Nore, Please let the man speak with no interruptions! Thank you!
Notice he wouldnt mention pete nices name...pete nice served serch on Lord sears show..
Jeez Nore let the man finish the story.
Pete Nice, Serch's old rhyme partner, said the Hammer thing never happened
And Serch is in "recovery" for weed lol
I’ve heard that as well.
I loved 3rd Bass more of Pete Nice but Serch can exaggerate his stories from time to time.
@@SuperTony1968I always felt like he was trying too hard to be accepted. It's low self-esteem.
" Vanilla Ice was worst than Hammer. At least Hammer was Black" Bruh what?? HAHAHA dude 30 plus years later he still confused. LMAO
Mane, we invite anybody to the damn barbecue now....”at least hammers black” 👊🏾💪🏾
BBQ lol
Y’all need MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, Young MC and other artists from the Golden Era that helped spread Hip-Hop to the mainstream. Hate it or love it, their contributions to the culture should no longer be ignored... and to be honest, I felt it had a lot more to do with them artists I named NOT being from the East Coast more than anything. We had Kid N Play, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Heavy D, Salt N Pepa, etc have major commercial success in that era, and they NEVER received the same criticism as the artists I mentioned up top. What was the difference? That old “New York Bias” that Serch put out there that we all knew existed.
Even Rob Base too
Mc hammer from cali. From the bay. From the town. Gangster, gangster.
All hammer albums are dope
Hammer can dance but his albums are straight up wack!
You're joking,right??
Hammers first two albums slap but he declined considerably after the 3rd. He had a great run though.
@deanivan3951 But hammer has 50 million albums sold worldwide. How many has 3rd base sold worldwide? 3 million? Lol 😂.
@@deanivan3951We the bay area. We don't care nothing about LL. Run dmc. All of them combined have not outsold hammer.
MC Serch still on that denial bullshit. If the roles were in reverse, would Serch not feel some kind of way about a TOTAL STRANGER taking stabs at HIS mother in front of the entire planet? Let's be honest. Hammer didn't diss Run-DMC. And even if he did, what does that have to do with Serch? Run-DMC can deal for Run-DMC. Hammer's jab was on some Hip Hop shit. Pure competitiveness. He didn't make it personal talking about anybody's mother. Also, Def Jam had worldwide distribution at that point. 3rd Bass's record was heard all across the globe. People were already starting to take jabs at Hammer about the dancing and big pants. Then you (or rather Pete Nice) says something about Hammer's mother and he's just supposed to take it as some "Hip Hop" fun? Wrong. You are not lyricists first. You are PEOPLE first. You can't hide behind an arbitrary label you put on yourself to seek some kind of justification or immunity from REAL WORLD CONSEQUENCES when it's convenient.
So far, from the looks of it, whatever therapy Serch claims to be receiving is a fail. 50-something year old man and still cannot own up to having simply fucked up. He should be grateful the hit was called off because if he didn't have backing by a major label, he wouldn't even be in that seat talking right now. And NO, it was not a dope line. It was immature, amateurish and disrespectful, culture vulture. I'm not saying Hammer was right, if in fact he did put out a hit on 3rd Bass. But from the stand point of just being a man, what else would you expect when you disrespect someone's mother in front of the entire planet?
When he said about Hip Hop “we felt it was NY and nothing else” that’s the same way California feel about gangbanging
@Hector Hernandez that doesnt change the fact New York has bloods and crips now, they look like idiots
MC Serch just could have say "You know, I fucked up, I didn't know people in the West Coast were Gangstas for real, like FOR REAL, I thought it would be like NYC beef, couple of songs and that's it" instead of all this BS
I love the show but it takes away when you ask the question and then butt in throughout the answer. We want the guests to be able to make a clear point
I wish homeboy let him talk for real
I heard hammer was that dude back in the day that would beat the breaks off you and your whole Crew. He wasn't to be played with!
Hell naw. Redman comes from the swamps and to see that Hammer put fear in him knowing Redman didn't give a single fuck at that time shows that Hammer isn't meant to be fucked with. Hammer with some actual killers and real G's.

Great interview. NORE gotta work on controling himself and let folks talk lol. Also Run DMC dissed hammer 1st when he came out to NY. Hammer never forgot that's why he dissed RUN DMC.
It was his fault he started it.

Thorough street dudes had love for Hammer, and hip hop ain't have nothing to do with it to them lol
Hammer put on for his city
And employed a lot of ppl
I respect that.
But 3rd Bass was respected in Hip Hop circles and by ppl in the loop at the time
Once u step into hip hop as an art form
Street credentials don’t mean as much
The diss came from another artist saying
Hammer needed to step his bars up
They dissed vanilla ice too
@@Synchronite Even Serch has said he had personal reasons for attacking MC Hammer - he did it because MC Hammer wouldn't dance battle him, and told him to get lost. You're running this line that it was all about hip-hop purity, which is nonsense. Even Serch, liar that he is, admits he did it for clout and for personal reasons.
Rakim had to check Mc Serch for saying he helped write Rakim rhymes on Vlad

Beastie Boys was more of a punk rock group with a little rap here & there. 3rd Bass was actually rap lyricist and more authentic Hip Hop than Beastie Boys💯
